    • Hamas was formed because the Muslim brotherhood. And then it has continued to exist because of qatar, and then because of Iran. Hamas was formed because of radical islam. If it never existed the plo would have been able to negotiate a Palestinian state and end the occupation.

    • Hamas is not a state and so you cannot define them in terms of number of tanks or battle ships. They said near the end "hamas managed to breach the defences of one of the world's most advanced miltary". That says a lot about it's capabilities.
