Looking great!!
Does it also make the cover water proof? My cover leaks, but still looks in fair condition, I know there are waterproof covers, wonder if a product can do the job
can we use this product for the other side of the spa cover ? (the one that is sometimes in contact with the spa water ?
My hotsprings spa cover is a little rough from being sun baked -303 did not help. When I use your product, will the roughness go away and feel smooth to the touch again? Will I then apply 303 over your product from time to time to protect? Thanks!
Hail hit my hot tub cover and not only ripped holes in the vinyl, but knocked out some of the inner foam. How can I replace those missing foam chunks before I patch the vinyl?
So I have a vinyl headliner in my airplane that is white. It's in good condition, but I want to change the color to tan to match the leather seats and other interior. Whats the best, most durable product? Thanks for the advice and great videos!
Thanks! I sent a message with pics through your website. You should do a video on repairing aircraft headliners. Every owner would buy a kit every year! To replace one is thousands and this would be easy maintenance. ;)
OK. Thanks! FAR91 allows pilots to "paint" interiors as long as the original substrate is in tact. For part 135 & 145 ops (commercial), you would need a burn test. For us little guys that own and fly airplanes, its all good. I'll do a video on mine when cc sends me the stuff. Cheers & Good luck!
The FAA: They're not happy until you're not happy! Commercial operators probably will not use your products because they never restore their their interiors. They replace them; so I wouldn't bother with a burn test. Part 91 is very clear about what General Aviation pilots can do to their airplanes (the lawyer coming out in me). Restoring the interior is totally acceptable. It's a longer conversation but I would advertise your product in every GA rag out there. In short, most products are a spray type. The solids in these sprays adhere to the circuitry in avionics: No Bueno. You have a great niche; exploit it! Every aircraft owner (and I have two of them) has a headliner nightmare story... And every GA airplane out there has vinyl and leather... Who doesn't want to sell 100,000 kits?!? Just sayin!
Sure... I'm in Denver; I didn't realize you were so close. About 45 minutes. I have a cabin a little south of you. Send me an email and you can school me on making it beautiful!
