Hard to believe I had lessons with Paul in 1986 at GIT.... he’s so humble as well as an incredible guy and amazing guitar player.

One of the things that Paul is absolutely god of is picking efficiency if it looks effortless that's because for him it pretty much is. His right and left hand coordination is almost unmatched

What I dig about Paul is he doesn't just have great chops and speed but also an incredible sense of rhythm and feeling. The way he attacks the guitar is so sick.

I love how the crowd responds so positively when he gets funky or bluesy, maybe even moreso than when he shreds.

The great thing about Paul Gilbert is not only is he an amazing player but he seems like a really down to earth and cool guy who really really enjoys playing.

paul gilbert is simply amazing. he can play blues, neoclassical, acoustic, classic, ballad songs, major, minor. he's mastering all technique!!

I was able to see Paul Gilbert at a live Seminar once, and god damn does he know his music theory like the back of his hand. Total props to him and his playing.

Paul Gilbert has written some really amazing songs, just because you haven't heard them doesn't mean they won't stand the test of time. :)
