the toughest opponent in the east.. Get past the Caps and I see a conference finals appearance. Golden Knights in the West but Colorado is a true sleeper who could sneak in. But none of those teams hit & are gritty like the Caps.

You mean scoring wise right? Cause he has been great in all other facets, strong on the puck, creating space in the offensive zone, fighting in the corners to maintain possession, shooting on goal, being in and around the net when needed, still getting break out opportunities (he was tripped up on a break away in the last game, that's how much of a threat he is), he demands the opponents time and energy when he is on the ice, not taking lazy or stupid penalties and has played very sound defensively with hitting and shot blocking... would hardly call him a non factor

The Caps dominated the play in the third with multiple chances to take this game. Once overtime started the Bruins were locked in and carried the play throughout both overtime periods. I cannot remember a more even series in metrics and points. Three overtimes in the first three games. A very close series. A riveting series! The Caps are the toughest team in the East & if the Bruins can get past them I have little worry for their next opponents.. The Bruins seem to gain more strength in the overtime periods. Goaltending may just make the difference here! Taylor Hall, not long from the trash pile in Buffalo has regained his form & is a true difference-maker on the second line.

As a goaltender, that was not Samsonov’s fault. His defensemen was well ahead of the bruins player and he left it for him....
Samsonov had no effort to get back and I’m a goalie. Miscommunication and bad effort by both guys.
I'd say it was both equally. Samsonov had no hustle back to the net and Schultz let Smith beat him to the inside. That was just a really bad goal. We got a gift and this is coming from a Bruins fan.

Cause he has been great in all other facets, strong on the puck, creating space in the offensive zone, fighting in the corners to maintain possession, shooting on goal, being in and around the net when needed, still getting break out opportunities (he was tripped up on a break away in the last game, that's how much of a threat he is), he demands the opponents time and energy when he is on the ice, not taking lazy or stupid penalties and has played very sound defensively with hitting and shot blocking... would hardly call him a non factor

The Caps dominated the play in the third with multiple chances to take this game. Once overtime started the Bruins were locked in and carried the play throughout both overtime periods. I cannot remember a more even series in metrics and points. Three overtimes in the first three games. A very close series. A riveting series! The Caps are the toughest team in the East & if the Bruins can get past them I have little worry for their next opponents.. The Bruins seem to gain more strength in the overtime periods. Goaltending may just make the difference here! Taylor Hall, not long from the trash pile in Buffalo has regained his form & is a true difference-maker on the second line.

Yes, best way for us to make sure we win is to do what we did in the OT periods...keep them from shooting, rask had a pretty easy night which is why he gave up two
Bruins need to stop with the turnovers. Rask has bailed them out on a couple of occasions. They clean that up and they should be good the rest of the series.

Samsonov is like 80% butterfly goalie so Bruins just need to get the puck high just like Taylor Hall did. Too bad the game ended like that for Samsonov because they played so well. Boston is just too scrappy and clutchy for OT.
