Haha yes the hot tub was great. We had the whole hot tub to ourselves one evening. It was freezing cold outside and raining so thats maybe why it was empty.
Pah! Cold weather and rain makes bathing in hot tubs even more worth it!

Great video although I missed having your cheery commentary. The ship looks amazing particularly the swimming pool that looks long enough to do lengths. It didn't look over crowded, was this a media visit?
Hey Angela. It was a media visit but during a regular cruise. We where meant to only be on for one night and get off the ship early the next day. However, due to a huge storm the ship was forced to dock for 3 nights in Southampton so we had the oppotunity to stay onboard and most passangers decided to get off and go into the town or into london as we where docking overnight. We wanted to try something a little different with the commentry as the majority of passangers on MSC dont speak english.
I have been to a msc cruises before and it in Durban and it called msc sinfonia I love it but I love the other big cruise

Drinks package can be used at any bar, lounge and restaurant on the ship. It all depends on how much and what you drink if it will be worth it for you.

Looks like Meraviglia. Just got off Meraviglia last week. I was in a Fantastica room. I met two couple who were staying in the Yacht Club. We all agreed the ship was beautiful and the food was bad. They advertised a 3 star Michelin Chef. One man from the Yacht Club wanted to know if they were confused and hired someone from a Michelin Tire store? Staff was great. The food needs a overhaul.
I also went on the Meraviglia about 18 months ago never again will I travel on MSC appalling food , I liken the ship to a a ferry more than a cruise ship.
Cruised on Seaview and thought it was just okay,entertainment wasn’t the poor and just wondering if it’s better on this ship?

hello! I cruised on the MSC Bellissima this past summer and it was amazing. I speak English and there wasn't any language barriers. The majority of the staff spoke English and were very welcoming. The food was also very good. Aside from the amazing restaurants, the Marketplace buffet was also really good and was open 20 hours a day, so you can eat at any time, even after midnight. MSC Grandiosa is an exact replica of the Bellissima but its a bit bigger. I really recommend cruising with MSC, it was truly an unforgettable experience!!

What is the dominant language on MSC ships? Particularly the shows?
I think it’s Italian but I’m not sure
it’s all english, but 80% of people, workers and guests, talks principally italian

Wow, gorgeous! How's the service?
The bar staff were really lovely and funny. Super attentive and quickly learned what we were drinking. The Reception team was fine and coped well with how busy it was due to the itinerary changes. We didnt see our room steward but he keept our room immaculate. We did however quite rude staff in the restaurants and not great service but nothing that ruined our meals.

Interior design on the MSC Grandiosa is very dull and boring. Grey grey, beige and more beige and more grey and white. And the design of the furniture's are very boxy and ugly. Interior design gives a very hospital / office, sterile kind of feeling. Not pretty at all. MSC should find some better interior designers and perhaps find some inspiration by looking at Cunard.

Just a warning, but they fill up the ship two weeks to a month before every cruise with people that only pay $200 a person for the first two passengers. number three and four to go for free so you will be amongst at least half of the people that just got out of prison or some other similar situation the lowest class, Spanish and Italian people make up the most of this cruise ship
