    • I would say "glam band", not "hair band" simply because the term hair band has come to mean one of those manufactured pussy metal bands that appealed to girls. Twisted Sister was a glam act and they rocked.

There are serveral modern bands and artists that I enjoy too, not just the oldies like Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Queen, Guns N Roses, Micheal Jackson, Omega Tribe,... You know what? If you hate listening to the music that is made now and not yesterday, then I totally understand and respect that. But you gotta admit that we will never get the chance to listen to a new song of some of our favourite bands/artists ever again, and we will eventually get tired of them some day. It's like eating your favourite childhood snacks over and over until you realize they really are not healthy. The Earth is spinning, and we all gotta spin with it, whether we like it or not, or whether it's good or not (of course that doesn't mean I myself like all kinds of music, especially not the ones that are popular on tiktok)

  • I grew up with all classic rock, especially Twisted Sister. My dad had the dads yelling down to a T, and when I had any of my friends over this man would bust into my room, yelling the same stuff the dad does, proceeding to freak the living hell out of my friends, especially if they never heard of the song. Then when he finished saying the dads line, I would say " I wanna rock." Then we'd start doing an air guitar. My friends then knew it was just a joke. I lost my dad last year, so I come back to this song to enjoy the memories I had with him.
