One thing that I'd like to see in both the current and the new sim is fixing bridges, roads and rail lines. Mainly this is because these can be used as visual reference points and nav aids for VFR flying and would add much more depth and realism to the sim.
They currently have a team devoted to fixing bridges. This is currently happening with the 2020 sim. Unfortunately its a manual process. So its one bridge at a time. It was mention in one of the last two development live streams. Sorry I can't remember which one.
My big wish would be to be able to pick aircraft state independently of starting location. Spawn in a cold and dark bush plane in a random clearing in the wilderness. Spawn in a parking spot but with the engine already running, for those who like to taxi but don’t enjoy startup procedures. Spawn a helicopter on a helipad but cold and dark. That sort of thing. An optional extra would be to spawn the *pilot* elsewhere, so that you would have to walk to your plane and get to enjoy those highly detailed airports before you fly away from them. Actually a “walk mode” would be good in general, so that you can do walk around inspections of your plane before you start it, without each developer having to implement this themselves.

Things I am missing from FSX. Radio communication - you could speak to everyone just by tunning radio freq. Chat - you could chat to people around you, make friends, communicate. Camera - you could follow other planes around you, see from inside the cockpit etc. Wish MSFS implemented this

Yes, they said in the last dev live stream they will go back and discuses the camera API again. - Interesting why they wont open it up.
@@AusFlightSimmer what's wild to me is they could have gone to HI-FI for the weather engine, gone to Chase plane for the camera system but they didn't. They released a sim that didn't have what P3D and xplane had. Just frustrating to see the ball dropped unbelievably hard

First thing they should focus on and not only for 2024 but as well for 2020 MSFS is fixing damn flight plan not loading back to the plane when u load back to ongoing light. Not everyone has time to sit 11hrs on cross Atlantic flight.

I hope they improve the landing physics of the helicopters, especially on the skis and on the ground, no one deserves to land on the grass and the machine hits the ground as if it were an iron can.
Surely hand tracking in VR would be super high on the list for MSFS2024? Couldn't see it anywhere on the list.
yes i agree, I hope that they put effort into making VR better in general. i have a pretty capable pc but i still have spent many hours tweaking settings to make it look and feel right. it shouldn't be that difficult! I have friends that would love to get into it but know they are not "techy" enough to make it work. MSFS VR is definitely not plug and play...

I am not excited about the vision jet being a "default aircraft". I love the vision jet, but it seems that any aircraft Asobo designates as "default" never receives further updates. For instance, the A310 and Drzewiecki airports. I have been waiting for the KDCA airport to be updated since I purchased it almost 2 years ago because it has become unusable due to issues with jetways and random aircraft loading on top of you when you spawn in. I’m assuming Drzewicki never even submitted an update for KDCA to Asobo because of the process that it takes. To be completely honest, I completely avoid purchasing anything if it is only available through the marketplace. I understand the “vetting” process per se before releasing content, but there’s got to be a better way Asobo can handle updates to aircraft and other content in a more timely manner.

This is one of the major reasons why asobo left a bad taste in people's mouth, they have essentially monopolies the flight sim community and put out half assed products
Well, I didn't know that DCA Was a Default Asobo Airport.. It's a Payware airport so how are they waiting for Asobo to update it??
@@evanblakeman8175 asobo made most if not all devs sign a contract stating they can only develop for them, so devs are probably just trying to pump out airport ASAP. Unfortunately some smaller regional airports may be getting a little left be behind for now

A proper atmosphere and thermal behaviour would be nice. But Asobo is unable to come up with the model.
I think it would be nice to have customizable avionics suites. Make it so you could fly steam gauges, or swap out for a g3x, change from a gtn750 or gns430 etc
a great feature would be an eye tracker working from the PC camera
Openable doors on aircraft? A new feature? That is why I stopped spending money on simulated flight years ago. I started with 2007 and doors on planes had always been openable. I guess only new simmers think this would be a fantastic enhancement to aircraft. The same thing with seasons. FSX had seasons decades ago.
Add saguaros to arizona thats like the only vegetation in the whole desert and they just replace it with random bushes. Also fix roads cut into mountains.
Multicrew and good multiplayer code for formation flying is all i want. Get rid of the rubber banding and connection issues and I'm sold.

I tried it with the Guimbal helicopter last night. It's a total game changer.
Vr heli is amazing, it's really hard to go back once you have flown them in vr. Head tracking is nice, but I have made myself physically ill in that heli numerous times in vr, soooo fun.
I'd love to have a FSX ACT multiplayer mode, that shit was so much fun and just insane.
Having a real copilot would be very nice
I wish there was an option for everyone like arecade fly mode so u can fly with np like gta or add assist or make all plane to work with the world map gps like this game was aimed at beginners as will but is not really beginner

Hello, When I run the FS2020 application, it seems like the update screen briefly appears in the background while performing update checks, but the game starts loading without allowing any action. In fact, because of this, my fullscreen setting gets reset every time, and the game starts in windowed mode. I've checked many places, but there doesn't seem to be any pending update to download. Does anyone else experience this issue or have a solution to suggest? I've done all the updates for Microsoft Windows as well, just wanted to mention that.
I hope more aircrafts are going to be in the standard version because im too broke to buy the premium deluxe one.

It amazes me how people are so happy for FS2024 when most of these features were promised in FS2020 and they’re going to be charging us all for a brand new sim to get the features promised in the last iteration. We all paid for beta access.
That is correct. The features most mention in the video were features the community voted for on the Whish List, MSFS quickly realized with the current sim it wasn't possible. The feature were not part of the base sim, in my opinion I have defiantly got value for money out of the 2020 platform, and have no issues paying for a new sim, when they have spent many of millions dollars have been spent in development. I'd like Voice activated interactive ATC real life read back. And some better taildragger ground handling. It's abysmal presently. I'm a real piston pilot with taildragger experience. It way over simulated. Even in the P factor is just a tad over the top especially taildraggers. Take heart, they aren't that difficult in real life

It’s a standalone product but most items purchased on the marketplace will be transferable to MSFS2024
Yeah, the wrong updates that don't fix the old problems at all. This sim has had so many updates that it's a joke. Half of the time you can't even fly because of the last update messing things up.

what is the point in lots of new features if you cant get more than 20 fps on a decent PC when you crank up TLOD and OLOD. I am not buying an Xbox which is where most of the focus is. I want to see this streamlines properly and make use of my 32 threads on my CPU.

Good news is FS2020 isn't getting abandoned, and you can wait and see it 2024 will be worth the upgrade
All I want is a more accurate model of the world. They should use AI to do it. All the data is available (Street view etc). It is only a question of compute power.

Thanks for the confirmation. MSFS is abandoned, MSFS2024 is continued development of what you already paid for with MSFS. But you’ll have to pay again of course. Basic and essential features such as propeller effects and windscreen wipers are under investigation and will only be implemented if it will make make money. Seriously. It seams Boeing and MSFS are being managed by the same team. Well thanks again. Now I know I stay with X-plane (and Airbus😅) Cheers!🎉

Most likely only freeware planes in career mode. Remember it takes time, money, and resources to make the aircraft themselves.

How many times can you say "coming up in future updates" and "possibly maybe due in the new 2024 sim" Updates coming and are expected in no given date. It's a whole video with almost no facts. Pure speculation. Great visual content though, keep that up but stop reporting on unconfirmed data, it makes it sound like you're making it up😉

I just want a SIM that isn't screwed up after every update. Make updates NOT mandatory, if we have the SIM how we like it, give us the choice to update or not.
SIM updates are mandatory to keep the actual game running.
