Pro-Palestinian protesters set up encampment at University of Toronto
In the early hours of Thursday, University of Toronto students and protesters knocked down the fencing around King's College Circle and put up dozens of tents for a demonstration demanding that the university divest ties with certain Israeli companies in light of the conflict in Gaza.
The encampment is the latest of many across North America in solidarity with pro-Palestinian protests.
"We support the demands of the occupation and Palestinian liberation and freedom," Deb Cowen, a Jewish professor at UofT said.

The world would be a safer place if war mongering leaders of both nations go out to to an open, barren field (far away from civilians) and set up live broadcast television, and do a dual. The winner will be the nation that wins the war. This will prevent innocent civilian casualties on both sides. My heart is for humanity. Hamas cares nothing for its people in Gaza. Their troops aren't hungry or thirsty... my gut says the hostages are all dead and they need to re-arm thus a push for ceasefire. If the hostages aren't dead they would probably want to be. Terrorists care only about the "hive" like the Borg... they assimilate and destroy and control.
