Chucky as a kid and others mentioned in this video
You guys definitely should watch Dead Silence. Favorite scary doll movie btw
Mind of a Toy Visage 1981. Scary video. Steve Strange as a puppet.
You forgot Talky Tina from the Twilight Zone.
Fats I was just a little kid when the movie magic come on tv in the 80s and scared me to death I had nightmares for years😮
After 35+ years, the character Charles Lee Ray AKA Chucky is still my number one favorite terrifying doll character in horror movie history, and also one of my top 3 favorite slasher film villains of all time.
its canon now that chucky hates m3gan
As a Puppet Master fan i just love the old 80/90s aesthetic for creepy killer dolls.
Same
100%
yeah I'm a fan of puppet master my favorite was six shooter
Same
Yes
I'm not surprised at all that Chucky, Tiffany, and Annabelle are on here. It's not surprising that Chucky is #1
Especially considering WatchMojo did a Vs. with M3GAN and Chucky, with M3GAN winning.
@@estebangutierrez160I never saw that video. I'll check it out.
@@estebangutierrez160M3GAN is my favorite doll killer
@@estebangutierrez160 I think that was for promotion when m3gan came out. It doesn't come close to Chucky lets be honest lol
He's not even the scariest.
The Zuni doll was the first scary doll I’ve seen and it’s scary looking face still haunts me til this day
Chucky is number 1. Hands down. But i will say the dolls from tales from the hood was scary as hell when u factor in the backstory of slavery and revenge
Chucky and M3GAN are still two of my most favorite scary doll characters.
M3GAN is cool but eh Chucky all the way~ x3
If Megan wasn’t a killer,i think she’d be really cool
@@disneygirl3630 - **Yes... LIKE A DISNEY PRINCESS!** :D
They should have their own crossover movie, just like Freddy vs. Jason.
I see Megan as a robot not a doll…
The trilogy of terror doll fucked me up as a kid! I couldn’t sleep for weeks!
Me, too. I literally urinated all over myself when I watched that
I pissed myself and then I went to my brother's bed and pissed on him.
Yooooo. I just commented the same sh*t before I saw yours 😂😂
And its warrior cry haunted me for weeks. I’ve never seen a killer doll that scared the living crap outta me the way this doll did. To this day I can’t watch that film (Trilogy of Terror).
That movie fucking traumatized me
Always loved Puppet Master's Blade
Blade is my favorite!
Big thumbs up for including "Magic". So few people seem to have heard of the movie but it features one of Anthony Hopkins' greatest performances. It's a drama / thriller, not straight horror, but Fats is still the stuff of nightmares.
I haven't seen the movie, but with the few scenes they shows us here, it's clear what a great actor Hopkins is, i mean his face gave this felling of sadness and mental illnes that is almost painfull to watch.
I don't know if you remember the trailer they played in the 70s in primetime TV, but that had me sleeping with my mother for like a month....at 53 years old I still can't watch that trailer
Oh and Anthony Hopkins performance is top 5 in his career and seriously underrated
@@omarfloresmota6301 You should check it out sometime Omar, you hit the nail on the head. It's a movie about a shy and mentally ill man who feels forced to rely on a ventriloquist dummy to handle his various (sometimes violent) emotions. And yeah George I definitely remember the trailer, it was pretty horrifying. Just a slow zoom on one of the creepiest dummies ever created, lol.
@@georgepetersonjr4302I'd love to see that trailer
Dead Silence's Billy really scared me in my childhood
For me it wasn't so much that Billy scared me, but I ended up in the emergency room from the scene where Mary Shaw suddenly appeared in the curtain of Donnie Wahlberg's motel room.
I think every doll from "Dead Silence" were equally scary!
@@Jennifer-jt9cbwow x.x shoot I've never had a movie put me in the hospital
i was a teen when i seen it boy it scared me but i wanted billy so bad so i could scare my mom
Me too
"It's a doll! Step on it! It's over!" -Dee Snider (I Love the '80s - "Child's Play" segment - from episode "1988")
Growing up I HATED Chucky, but now that I’m 17 and it’s one of my FAVORITE franchises ever
The tv series is phenomenal!
@@Nenernener123 YEEEEEES I love the tv series it is amazing
I hated Chucky for decades for reasons I won't go into fully, let's just say linked to someone from my past and I didn't want the reminder, but then I met something worse... My ex wife.
lol you a baby. Chucky came out in the 80s
@@lessismore8533 lol yeah growing up I was forced to watch horror movies all the time so I saw the first Chucky movie and it like gave me nightmares like I would check under my bed all the time for Chucky but now if he were to jump out from under my bed I would ask for an autograph
"Abracadabra, I sit on his knee.. Presto, changeo, now he is ME.... Hocus pocus I take her to bed. Magic is fun. YOU'RE DEAD" I'll NEEEEEVER forget that intro.....😭 One of the ppl complaining about the terrifying commercial was my MOM-THAT 💩had me TRAUMATIZED.
Yes Chucky came in first he is the most iconic one from them all ❤
He is, but he's not the scariest
Mannequins in tourist trap freaked me out,
#14 The Dolls, is a movie I think I'm going to look up & watch tonight after I end this Mojo video!! The dolls looked so real especially for the movie being from 1987!!!!
Annabelle, PFFT, the film version is hilarious. no interest in seeing Megan . the BEST, Chucky, TIFFANY, Billy and Slappy. Also Leach lady, Blade, Tunneler, Jester, Pinhead from The Puppet Master. Zuni doll, Dolly dearest.
My favorite scary movie dolls are the ones in Barbarella, and the Trilogy of Terror Zuni Fetish Doll.
I practically have nightmares about Chucky as a child. Also who else thinks that Annabelle would make a suitable companion to Pennywise?
Annabelle and Chucky? Hmm… Tiffany would likely have a bone to pick with that ship.
I said Pennywise not Chucky
@@aiyanahmed6967Sorry. I must not have read it clearly, but Pennywise might gain a few dolls against that ship, like Chucky.
Love Dolls such a underrated horror gem but who doesn't enjoy chucky. Thank you watchmojo for this horror video
Can’t believe you didn’t include taking Tina from the twilight zone
I was thinking the same thing. She should’ve at least gotten an honorable mention. I also loved the parody on Simpsons treehouse of horror with the Krusty doll.
That is my absolute favorite episode of Twilight Zone!! I watched it so many times as a kid. It's seriously creepy, even watching as an adult
I agree, but the title of this movie is for movies & not TV shows. Title should have been more broad.
It's from the TV show and not a movie.
It did say movies. If counting TV I would have added. Talky Tina and Willy from TZ Oscar from Friday The 13th The Series
Zuni doll was really the scariest one for me. The ending was unexpected 😬
Same here
I loved all the puppets from Puppet Master, they’re awesome
As always it's no surprise that Chucky made it to the top of a list involving killer dolls in movies! I mean after all at this out of all the ther killer dolls on this list, Chucky has the highest body count.
Its Funny how Chucky when I was a kid never scared me cause he said so many jokes he always made me laugh hard, however he is still the undisputed King of Killer Dolls haha
Yea, he's not scary. Well, maybe in the beginning he was
Ive gotten the weirdest case of Deja Vu. I feel like WM remakes the same videos every few years at this point. We all knew Chucky would be #1 come on now 😂Chucky will always be the GOAT killer doll snd most powerful, dude is literally an OP ghost now killing people from the spirit realm...Chucky has had a few upgrades since the 1st movie.
Slappy, Chucky, and Blade are my favorites
I really do remember back in the 80s. I was like six and watching cartoons and the movie preview for magic came on and it scared me to death to this day. I can’t even watch that movie. 😮
Years ago, when a classmate of mine was 7 or 8, he watched childs play for the first time. It terrified him so much that he cut off his sisters barbie doll heads, stuffed them in a bag and hid it in the garage.
As a kid i loved watching chucky movies and the puppet master, never got scared and was so intrigued that dolls could move and wanted one for myself lol all the killing was just a bonus that made me more curious about killer dolls, good movies
Blade from Puppet Master should be in the top 10 if he's the only representative from the franchise.
Jigsaw is both frightening and hillarious somehow
While Chucky is undoubtedly the most iconic, I don't know if we can call him the scariest. High ranking, yes, but not the scariest.
Has undoubtedly scared the most viewers over the years!
@@Nenernener123 I won't argue with that, but he's had decades and popularity on his side. But compared to some of the others in terms of scariness, I think there are a few on this list who are scarier.
doesn't matter if there are scarier looking dolls chucky is still the scariest he has scared so many kids for a long time the one from bride of chucky scared me the most
@@ViewerOnline101he's definitely not scary
Hoping Slappy made the cut as I watch, Goosebumps is underrated horror. And boy was I not disappointed
do you mean the 90's series or the movies
@@All_will_be_revealed Both
I saw number one coming a million miles away! Brad Dourif is a legend for voicing this character!
Chucky, Annabelle and Jigsaw for sure

Okay raise your hands who felt that Slappy from the goosebumps franchise would be on here
✋
Did anyone really think Chucky wouldn't be number 1?
To be honest, ‘Dolly Dearest’ was definitely inspired by the original ‘Child’s Play’ movie.
Majority of these got inspiration from Chucky! And the Chucky crew took a lot of inspiration from Trilogy of Terror especially for filming!
The most terrifying aspect of it is that chucky could be anywhere unfortunately, lol.
Chucky scared me the most
My favourite is blade from the puppet master franchise I even own the figure blade myself
Also does anyone know what the title to blades own puppet master film is called?
Dead Silence doesn't get enough credit. I love that movie
Hands down the friggin Poltergeist clown got me the first time
It did me too.
The Puppet Master at 15 huh?? 🙄🤦🏻
Chucky, Jigsaw, M3GAN & The Five Nights at Freddy's Dolls.
Wait do animatronics count as dolls?
Not really
@@CandiceViditoRobotic Dolls...Yeah.
Freddy and the gang aren’t dolls they’re animatronics they don’t count or they’re the same
I'm still terrified of dolls. I'm 19 that's so effing embarrassing. I do really like Chucky, Jigsaw, Annabelle, Slappy, and M3gan tho
Toy Story and Child’s Play both contain a child Character called Andy is this just a coincidence
You forgot Family Matters Stevil.
Chilling fact about the video is that the Annabelle doll is real.
I wonder if Annabel and Robert the doll think of all these other dolls on this list as competition 🤔
I heard about Robert in a podcast exploring the backstories of common folklore appropriately titled _Lore._
Blade and Billy should be way closer to number 1
More obscure rabbit hole/dark and unique concepts from TV+film like this one please!!! Every once in a while WatchMojo drops one that knocks it out of the park. This is one of those videos. Thank you
"I have a date with a 6-year-old boy." -Charles Lee Ray If you made that movie nowadays, that line would NEVER fly.

Yes it would have. We're the fanbase.
I'm scared of dolls particularly ventriloquist dummies. A guy I was dating brought dead silence over on our fourth date and I didn't know what it was about needless to say I freaked and although we laughed about it the relationship fizzled shortly after lol
Yes, Chucky is the most iconic, but many others you mentioned were far scarier.
They put Pinocchio's Revenge in the middle of the thumbnail picture 👀😄😄😁
Brad Dourif IS Chucky!
Good luck putting Robert on this list. His movies are not well known
Hi Watchmojo, i enjoy watching your videos. Can you please do another list of killer doll movies?
All of these horror movie dolls freaked me out the most
All the dolls from puppet master and chucky
I have collected all the Chucky Dolls since 1988 and still collecting them.
Krampus is great ! You've got some good pics !
You really have to appreciate the work that went into every one of these doll icons.
My Pop and I watched Trilogy of Terror on Svengoolie last night!

Puppetmaster puppets used to haunt me as a kid
Tales from the hood always creeped me out but I love it 😂
Fun fact: The dolls at #26 were designed by the Chiodo brothers, the men that brought us "Killer Klowns from Outer Space".

Gave me goosebumps reading your comment and hearing Fats' voice saying those lines... nightmare fuel
Annabelle frightened the life out of me Chucky made me Chuckle pardon the pun and M3GAN is the craziest 21st century creation in Film
I'd honestly say jigsaw doll over Chucky in scariness the voice alone kinda beats Chucky
Okay the clown doll from scary movie 2 was scarier than any of these.😂
There's no way you can beat King Chucky 👑
ASYLUM, excellent stuff. 7:36 MAY, a lot more going on in there than your snippet. I watched the last 15 minutes a few times to make certain, worth it. 9:15 um...realistic is the word. Tourist Trap is just incredible. Chuck Connors chewing his way through the script.😅 20:23 Crosby quit Next Generation, ended up making a bunch of B horror flicks.

Puppet Master is one of those films that would play in background at goth night clubs. Ah memories.
It's got a unique charm and a cult following that appreciates its blend of creepy puppets, supernatural elements, and B-movie vibes.
@@WatchMojo Like “Lord of Illusions,” except “Puppet Master”doesn’t have Scott Bakula…🤭
10 - Pin sounds eerily like a retelling of the Son Of Sam. He claimed insanity by saying his neighbors dog was telling him to kill. But in this movie, it's a doll telling Leon to kill.
When I saw Blood Dolls it just immediately reminded me of The Puppet Master movies for some reason I think it's because the Clown Pimp reminded me of the White Haired Puppet as they looked similar bar. the colours the down being brightly coloured and Blade being black and white.
Nice list ...i am terrified of dolls ,ever since i was a kid😢😢
If I'm not mistaken, the little girl who hung around Pinocchio in 'Pinocchio's Revenge' was the killer all along and the movie gave the viewer a POV from the girl's perspective. It's a very underrated movie.
Robert the Doll is not a kid-friendly doll 🤣 I was hoping to see him on your list.
This is why I don’t keep any dolls in my house 😂
I didn't even need to hit play, the Zuni Doll is right there. I was a kid, living with My Aunt and Uncle, in the middle of nowhere on a farm, with nothing for miles, including streetlights. My Uncle fell asleep in His recliner, and I woke up in the middle of the night next to Him, to HBO being on. Trilogy of Terror was playing, and the Zuni Doll gave Me nightmares for years after that. I would check all over for it. Terrified Me.
Ok, but not everything on this list is a doll, some of them are puppets..
