    • It's also total BS. That vehicle would need around 4 tons of lithium to get there with the weight and aerodynamics of a Hummer.

  • NAEV is in Canada btw. Great leadership. Meticulous attention to detail. 750 range should not be a problem. Lucid Air is around 500 for a luxury sedan. I am however lost concerning the towing capacity of only 10,000. 4,000 ft lbs of torque. Cool. How about towing capacity of say 30,000? I wonder if the smaller size of the vehicle is a limiting factor when it comes to towing capacity. I think it weighs under 8,000 lbs or 4 tons or close to it. I did not hear you say 4WD or is that just understood? Thanks for your excitement. $350,000 is only $100,000 more than the tiny AMG BY MERCEDES BENZ. I barely have any knee room in that thing. Oh well, I need something almost head on collision proof!!! Good luck!

    • Entirely possible if you shove several kwh of batteries in it. Each Tesla module is 5-7kwh depending on the model. Plenty of room to shove two entire 100kwh battery packs in this thing.

  • the electric function is cool but tbh most people don't know how to maintain or fix an electric motor and tesla motors are designed to fail and they are impossible to work on I had a friend with a tesla models 3 and I couldn't even get into the thing with ought the car saying, "theft alert" and not just that if u go to the undercarriage u can't unbolt anything they have everything welded so u can't repair it! and there's so many covers to take of but still it's pretty cool if they can get into it

  • How long does it take to charge?

    @alismith2022@alismith2022 Жыл бұрын
    • Tesla modules are capable of being charged at 1C or a 1'ish hour rate if you can pump that much energy into them. Guessing this thing is a 200kwh battery so if you have access to a 200kw charger I think its theoretically possible to charge in a little over an hour but that depends on the cooling used for the modules. Proper cooling is likely needed and I'm sure they have done so.

  • This thing is a expensive barn fire waiting to set off. If it has 750 mile range which it means it has a shit ton of batteries and if you remotely go off roading in the desert or somewhere remote and hot you're more then likely going to overheat these bad boys and then cause a fire. Once that fire starts you'll be in a remote location and forced to watch a 300,000 fire.... Point is that it's actual fuction is more theoretical then what it can do. More then likely it will be used by some rich soccer mom to get grocieries... But yea it'll be cool to look at in the grocery or shopping center parking lot for sure. Find me the tesla that can do desert runs, They're known to overheat in less then ideal enviorments, which is exactly what you're doing when you off road.

      @youxkio@youxkio2 жыл бұрын
    • LOL you are insane. Best safety it to avoid ever catching on fire. The track record and probabiltiy of a Tesla catching fire is much less than a Petrol or Diesel vehicle. No it's not going t overheat because it's off roading, it will reduce power way before that. You most likely will never even stress it out enough to get it hot. Sure in the insanely small chance is does catch fire there is no way to put it out. But there is NO Concussive Blast thus you can even crawl away from a fire injured like Richard Hammond. BEVs are way safer and that is just harsh truth Fact. Nothing you said has any technical accruacy. Just insane false assumption.
