I told my boss I'm not coming these 4 days 11 months in advance and he just had to deal with it😂
When i signed my contract, i made it clear that the last weekend of June is holy time for me, so i get time off at every DQ1.
i started a new job last may and in the interview i told not them (not ask) "i have to take 4 days off in the end of june , they said is it that important? i said yes. they said welcome lol

My honest opinion as a long lasting fan. I've been a fan since 2001. I've dedicated my whole life to this world. This! This is the kind of stuff people will remember for decades (hopefully) Anthem's like this one don't get lost in the sand. They brought back the old school sound from HHZ - Scrap Attack in the intro. I'm sure I missed a lot of other things aswell, but that's what stood out for me the most. Yet still pleased the crowd for the more harder style sounds in the mid and towards the ending. This is an 10/10 for me. Sorry, Sound Rush for having my doubts about you for years. This was fantastic! So many goosebumps! It was like I was back in my teen years.

I still remember thinking back in 2020 that the Defqon anthem would either be by DBSTF or Sound Rush and of course it ended up being DBSTF (and extremely well deserved)! Now, 4 years later, it’s cool to see Sound Rush get their run at the anthem as well. 🧡 EDIT: After the premiere, I gotta say - Sound Rush did well here! I ADORE the old school Scrap Attack vibes in the mid-intro and the second climax melody! Reminds me of Primal Energy in that the atmosphere in the second climax makes up for the first one. Defqon.1 2024 HYPE!

Don't know whats to hate on this anthem. After many years this is a Defqon anthem thats truly just PURE Hardstyle 🧡 No horrible sounding Kicks, no unnecessary long build-up before the drop with 16bars snare or other stuff. Straight to the point!

Sound design in the beginning brings brack memories. Goosebumbs on the first drop. That second, modern drop isn't my cup of tea. Overall it sounds more like a propper hardstyle track compared to the average garbage.
Last year's red opening with Phuture Noize was amazing, best set of the weekend!
