  • I think it is about time that I address the multiple complaints that have been brought forward to me, regarding the contents of this video. 1. Map at 08:19 is incorrect, it displays the territories occupied by the Reich and a handful of nations that were allied to it. Yes, I am aware of that. Unfortunately, I had neither the time nor the skill to make the correct map myself. Pardon me for that inconvenience. 2. The video lacks the anthems of sovereign German states prior to the German empire. I had plans to implement those, but due to time limitations, I was forced to cut those off from the finalized video. 3. Why replace the H....kreuz/S....ikas with the KZhead symbol? As enthralling as it is to display your favorite Black Pinwheel symbol, keep in mind that KZhead is hostile to the mere idea of displaying it. Yes, not everyone who displays it will get banned, but the odds of it occuring means that it was just not worth the risk. So yes, I am hoping that (if you have a complaint) you will read this instead as a means to satisfy your queries; as I will no longer partake in the redundant task of having to reply to every message myself. That is all that I have to write. Thank you for reading.

Also, as someone living in a post Covid world, the lyrics are surprisingly relatable West Germany: the anthem of our people East Germany: WW2 sucked, let’s make a better tomorrow Modern Germany: delete the first verse (the coolest part) because we don’t want to be compared to bad mustache man Disclaimer: I am not a Nazi, this is just my take on the music. It also touches on the postwar hope of national reunification in the future. The anthem just goes to show that Germany is, was, and always will be strong.

The USSR Fell and now the Russian Federation under Putin will Fall. Terrorism and oppression plus Authoritarianism has no future for the Bolshevik Dictator. I also noticed that if some German show their flag or patriotism he would be called fascist and it’s really unfair because you didn’t do anything wrong. I hate the fact how Russians didn’t end up like Germans at all, only because they win the war nobody cares about their war crimes and communist dictatorship in eastern Europe, because „only the winners writes history”. Nobody fucked them up and now we have results of it. Germany at least apologised and changed but Russia not. Fuck it I’m Polish and some people might think I should hate Germans as well, you can even call it defending your own ‘enemy’ but I see it just as telling the truth. • TNO post apocalyptic: They said at the end of the world everyone heard a song of demons coming from the sky; others who witnessed it claimed to have heard a siren. Either way of song or siren all concluded that hell followed about. Some tried to write it down but soon the new records faded from history along with the true meaning. One young boy asked in the old ruins only to slip into the faded marble only to be saved by his grandmother. As they went to the safety of the countryside where she told to avoid the ruins. “They are dark places full of demons. They came from the depths of hell and they burned the world in anger.” She told him and the community when asked how to know the demons and ghosts was that the demons went by one code above all else. One code which all morality, kindness and compassion were meaningless in comparison. One saying “Marschier’n im Geist.” AND THUS FEAR PASSES FROM ONE GENERATION TO ANOTHER.

  • Gotta love Oompa music. While it wouldn't represent ALL the people of the Allied Occupied Germany (later West Germany) and is only Synonymous with Bavaria like a lot of the so called German Traditions that non-Germans associate with Germany it is because Bavaria was under the control of the US and as the US being the most influential country post-WWII that is where everyone gets these impressions that this music was the only music you heard throughout Germany. Most Germans outside of Bavaria would be more familiar with Bach. Mozart and Beethoven and probably never heard Oompa bands before this was the unofficial anthem. Nevertheless, it is fun to listen to and who didn't have a smile on their face listening to it. Even without reading along to the words it just sounds so upbeat and uplifting (Which is the whole purpose of an anthem - to inspire the people)

    @davidius74@davidius748 ай бұрын
    • Glad to see someone who enjoys that song. Yes, it is true that it is not representative of the German populace entirely, but it was still a very interesting unofficial anthem nevertheless. Regarding the song being alien to non-Bavarians, I had some experience of that myself. I asked someone from the country regarding her opinion of that song, to which she said that "it was not appropriate as an anthem" and apparently stopped listening the moment the cannibalism line had appeared.

  • Wow, I never knew that the nazi flag had the KZhead logo in the middle of it. Kinda fitting, seeing as how KZhead acts like them in certain regards.

  • Crazy that the German empire anthem is essentially just a German take on god save the king

  • There are some mistakes. The West German Anthem from 1949 to 1953 was "Ich hab mich ergeben" and in 1953 it became the 3rd stanza of the "Deutschlandlied". Also you forgot the anthems from before 1871 (Holy Roman Empire, Confederation of the Rhine, German Confederation, North German Confederation) and modern Germany, so the FRG existed since 1949, West Germany and FRG are the same, the state didn't change in 1990, it just annexed the GDR

    • I see, well my bad on that part. Unfortunately, I could not make modifications past what Siamese empire had made, as this video was literally just his but redesigned (as you can see from the very beginning). Also, in both the description and thumbnail, I wrote that it includes only the anthems from 1871 to today, as a sort of scope and delimitation. Edit: I did have plans of expanding in that part, but unfortunately had neither time nor motivation to fulfill it completely. The only song that I ever managed to add was Trizonesien song, which is not even an official anthem to begin with...

    • Not trying to be rude or start anything but I dont think anyones cares about Holy Roman Empire, Confederation of the rhine and ect anthems as the German Empire was when Germany was more stood out as Germany and not a confederation or other stuff.

    • Actually Holy Roman Empire is not Germany, but just part of the old territory of the HRE. We can choose too that Austria is the real successor of the Roman Empire, because the last emperor and the last capital is from Austria (Francis II / Wien)

    • The melody of the German Anthem was the personal Anthem of the last Holy Roman Emperor Francis II composed by Josef Haydn in 1797 for the Emperors birthday, after Haydn had been to London and heard God Save the King in honor of King George who also was a German prince. Francis kept the anthem and words when he became Austrian Emperor and it was used in in the AustroHungarian Empire with words praising the emperor and the Hapsburg Dynasty in all the dozen or so languages of the empire till it was dissolved in 1918. In Germany August Heinrich Hoffman wrote a poem with three stanzas to the same tune in 1841 counter posing the unification of Germany with a eulogy for the Austrian Emperor formerly King in Germany. The starting phrase refereed to a united Germany instead of the dozen or more princely and kingly states which made up Germany then, and it became the German Republic’s anthem after WWI , unfortunately when Hitler came to power and began conquering Europe the starting phrase took on a different meaning and as such was not used again, the second stanza about German women, wine and song was considered frivolous and so only the last stanza of the original poem is used today and it’s starting words are the German National Moto. The music for the East German Anthem was composed by Hanns Eisner a German composer who wrote music for many films including seven Hollywood firms two of which his scores were nominated for Oscars, Hangmen also Die and None but the Lonely Heart in 1944 and 1945! He wrote the music for many of Bertolt Brecht plays and studied composition under Arnold Schoenberg. He led an unhappy life and suffered from depresión, he fled Germany under Hitler and then fled the USA when it became known he was a Communist sympathizer, he eventually went back to Germany where his melody was selected to become the East German Anthem!
