  • That's a very nice plane. I have to check your other videos to see if you describe your design process.

  • The T7 looks awesome. With a paint job, it would be epic.

  • Great Build and Flight Sir 😊. If the esc and motor can handle it try 4s, thats what I do with my Arrows BAE Hawk 50mm edf, though the manual says its 3s, i just modulate my throttle and just give it full beans for short bursts.

  • Awesome video, next paycheck I'm buying most of your planes including the T7 in the 64mm EDF model!!! You brought it up but didn't finish... what gear was in your jet!? PS... would like to request an F16XL if it isn't on your "To do..." list already!! Gorgeous concept that almost made it into mass production!

  • It's amazing how lightweight PLA has pushed the 3D printing of rc planes Well, imho it made it feasible due to weight reduction. I have an IL2 sturmovik with 1,2m wingspan lying around. It's printed with normal PLA and it is way too heavy. Didn't even try to finish it. I guess I have to get some rolls of lightweight PLA and print it again (iirc total print time was about 100h 😫😲) Is thre still only one brand that poduces lightweight PLA? Edit: great video, great plane, again. I can't wait to see some of your awesome creations with a paintjob 👍👍

    • If you tell me to wait for what's next, I won't buy what you have. This is called the Osborne Effect.

    • @@coreyfro I didn’t actually mean to not get the T7 I have another very different design coming in the next few days. Definitely doesn’t compete with the T7 😝

  • I don't think the initial throw was bad except that maybe you had a turbulent tail wind? It looked to me like some wind lifted up the tail on you.

    @Andy-df5fj@Andy-df5fjАй бұрын
    • You’re actually correct! If you noticed the landing direction. I initially threw the plane 20 degrees left of into the wind.

  • Can you recommend a decent 3D printer that's not massively expensive? Something in the £0 - £500 range? Not owned one before, thinking it would be cool to try something like this.. Or is there no such thing and I have to invest more into owning one? Thanks for any help.

    • It’s unbelievably fun and totally worth it for me. People who print a lot swear by Bambu lab P1P or P1s

  • Awesome plane! Is there any tips you can share on how to do this that won't help competitors? I know I already asked but is there any way you could reach out to me separately to share some ideas. I talked to my engineering teacher about what you do and he is all in for a project rc jet for my final. If you are concerned about sharing and it could help competitors i completely understand. I think that's my favorite jet so far. Great video

    • @@hotlapkyle what about the thrust angle. Is there an angle for a pusher at the back? I will try a emax gt2 with 6x4 prop on 3s 2200kv. I use this for jetworks depron jets.

      @everardg1954@everardg1954Ай бұрын
  • I think the T- 7 is superior to the F-18 for models. Both have very similar planforms so aerodynamically they should be very similar. Things that are important for a full size Navy jet like avionics, folding wings, robust landing gear etc. aren't even modelled. You don't need dual engines for thrust and redundancy in a model of this size so you don't need a less efficient bifurcated exhaust. So try making a full flying tail for the T-7 and don't think of it as a trainer.

    @toolbaggers@toolbaggersАй бұрын
    • Full flying tails are great. My f22 has one. For this I wanted to make a very approachable model for people to get flying easily. Glue some TPU hinges in and have a scale flying plane. When I make an f18 I’ll have to FF tails for cobras and other crazy stunts

      @hotlapkyle@hotlapkyleАй бұрын
    • Excuse my ignorance, a flying tail is aka a stabulator? Just getting in to designing planes, don't know the terms.

      @coreyfro@coreyfroАй бұрын
  • You make bigger jet so we see better 🫨 five times the size 🤪
