[Rescue Day 34]The result of an enema on a kitten that had not had a poop in 6 days.

Last time the kitten had no poop for five days and was given an enema, this time he had no poop for six days. We couldn't afford to keep her constipated any longer, so we gave her an olive oil enema.
This is a growth record of a kitten that was rescued a few days after birth.

  • Have you tried Miel on wet food, or moistened dry food? I know Miel drinks some milk, but a wet food diet may also help with his severe constipation.

    • When I was in army we had a crappy food there, and for a first few months I was wondering where it all goes as very rarely pooped - such doctor would help soldiers also.

  • Dry food is what causes them to get constipated. My Vet tells me to only feed them wet food when they are kittens.

  • I dont think its a good idea to show this because people will see this video and think they can do this and possibly scar or injury the kitten permenantly. Kittens should always go to veterinarian!

  • I think he is too young to eat dry food, which could explain the constipation. I only give my kittens wet food until they are 3 - 4 months old and never had this problem. Anyway, that was a good treatment! 👍

  • Какой ужас! Надо делать профилактику котёнку,а не совать ему в анус что попало.После кормления необходимо массажировать животик малышу тёплой влажной салфеткой,и правильно подобрать смесь.И не использовать такой варварский метод

  • You should take the kittie to a proper vet who will give the kitten medication to relieve the constipation. The kittie can relieve herself without your torturous method of pushing poop out of her. Just terrible!!!

  • Существуют свечи и суспензии . А это издевательство , как ершиком моют бутылочки , так можно и стенки кишечника повредить . Представьте , если бы пациентам в больнице врачи такие клизмы делали !

Se l’argomento non ti piace o ti schifa .. molto semplicemente non dovevi guardare qs video, peraltro dal titolo molto eloquente ..potrà sembrare strano, forse inappropriato per personcine delicate e schifiltose come probabilmente tu sei, ma la cacca è qualcosa di molto democratico e trasversale, ricchi e poveri, umani e animali e non farla è a volte un problema…magari a te privilegiata dalla vita non è capitato , ma nell’esperienza di una gattara capita… a me è capitato e ho risolto con clisteri x bambini.. certo alcuni dettagli potevano essere omessi, ne convengo! Ma il video è comunque istruttivo😀

  • Would suggest you give Miel raw whole food little by little instead of dry food. That’s what kittens eat in the wild and that is what they are designed to eat. It is naturally hydrated food with all the nutrients Miel needs.

  • You should wash a kitten's bottom every time they eat like its mother would lick them, I would never insert anything into him, so easy for their bowel to become lazy and he'll suffer his whole life.
