What Happens When a US Submarine Finds Something STRANGE in Deep Sea?
What happens if a submarine encounters a gigantic object deep in the ocean during a mission? Submarines, often on extended missions lasting months with hundreds of crew members on board, maintain a constant state of vigilance. Faced with the unknown, do they proceed or abort the mission? How does the crew react to this unknown phenomenon, and what measures are taken to ensure everyone's safety on board?
Submariners can expect anything at any time-a sudden temperature change, a change in water pressure, a submerged wreck, or more bizarre phenomena like an underwater creature or a geologic formation. Nature is unpredictable, and its surprises are countless, especially in the depths of thousands of feet where even the most advanced technologies have not fully mapped the ocean. Among various anomalies, hydrothermal vents are of particular interest. Teeming with life, these vents represent not just a scientific curiosity but a testament to the ocean's unexplored mysteries. Although primarily a subject of scientific study, hydrothermal vents could pose navigation risks if approached too closely.
Submarines, these marvels of engineering, are equipped with sophisticated detection systems that can identify and classify anomalies within seconds. In the US Navy, vigilance is paramount, as negligence could endanger not only the lives on board but also national security.
So, how does a force as skilled as the US Navy handle such situations, and what measures do they implement to ensure the safety of all involved? Let's explore some real-life encounters from the past to find out!

If the military can operate at 4km below the surface thats one hell of a feat! I only say that as that's how deep sea vents are.
The RCN had a sub meet a sea mountain a couple of years ago. Smashed the sonar dome.
Found this very interesting and I’ve never heard of any disasters with submarines at sea, that I can remember!
In the U.S. Navy, but there was a Russian sub that went down in the recent past.
Thresher and Scorpion come to mind And is just the USN off the top of my head. Both nuclear powered. Accidents in 1963 (Thresher) and Scorpion (1968). Yes, a long time ago, but all on board perished. And then then there is the Kursk. Yeah, everyone died too.
Ufo anomaly will definitely warrant someone attention from the guys
right but what if lava earth was last humanity would ended?
Wonderful video!!
Ask the crew of the Seawolf class submarine USS Connecticut who hit a seamount on 10/2/21 which cost the CO, XO and COB their jobs. Repair estimates are 31+ months and untold millions of dollars.
Yet we send trilloons to Ukraine….
USS DIXON AS-37 79-81 Point Loma Ca. 81 Western Pacific deployment to Diego Garcia. Tended Submarines and Surface warcrafraft during the Iranian hostage issue.
Lots of fan room queens on those Tenders….First three ships had no women.
UNCLASSIFIED INFORMATION; Thank you for your footage…
RESPECT TO THESE HEROES 🫡🇺🇸‼️ NEVER CATCH ME IN A SUBMARINE EVER‼️
Yeahbut what if the come across an anomaly?
When an implosion occurs the sudden pressure change is so great that the atmosphere suffers a Flash Over that actually ignites instantly in a fraction of a second.... And the only thing that stops the Flash Over would be a closed watertight bulkhead, but if the control areas of the boat are exposed⁉️⁉️ That's it....
Did you just call sonar a 'basic technology'?!.
It pretends that they didn't see it and keep moving along hoping that what I didn't see doesn't come to eat my little ass Submariners you guys Rock
I do not know how they do it. I could never do something like that.
Then abandon all previous missions. they should DEFINITELY go on a emergency scouting /research mission to find out what are the anomaly that keeps occurring-reoccurring in the south Atlantic we Ned to know what it is!
Do not pull the plug out! 😮Ships need to float
Subs are made to sink kid.😊
If they are smart they will give this thing a wide berth.
AN ANORMALLY CAN BE CAUSED BY NATURAL DISASTERS SUCH AS HURRICANES OR VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS AND THESE COULD POTENTIALLY DISRUPT OR CAUSE COLLITIONS FOR THE SUBMARINES.
a sub doesnt have hundreds of people on board
Close to 2 hundred officers and crew on board a military sub....
@@rodgershort-gl2hdOnly if you count both Blue and Gold crew kid.😊
@@buzz5969 120-140 personnel on a military sub depending on the class...
The big ones do
Andrea gale
The first triangular shapes plane was the stealth bomber. I’m out.
Do subs enlist a therapist for crew members support?
No but they have a full stock of pampers and pamprin for those that whine and cant hack it until they are kicked off at the nearest opportune.
You got a grifter loose in your adverts…
@03:35 Did I hear that right, A Frigate, IE ship, or as bubbleheads call it, a skimmer, USS STEIN encountering a giant sea creature, just Imagine being underwater having no access to the external world? Was the USS STEIN SINKING??? Why was it underwater? For being.a supposed NAVY Channel you seem to not know very much about the NAVY.😊⚓️🇺🇸✌🏻🍻
There must be an access 2 de outside world, subs have antenars
😂😂😂]
We are NOT , sub mariners , sir
