Memories of my time in Saint Paul, Minnesota during the MSRA Back to the 50s classic car show, held annually. This 300 acre state fairgrounds hosts the annual event. Approximately 10,000 classic cars, hot rods, street rods, old trucks and custom cars & countless classic car & truck enthusiasts visit every year. 2024 will be the 50th anniversary of the show. Thanks for the treat of a trip back to the 50's. I'm from that generation. Graduated from High School in 1959. It was a common sight to see in the school parking lot, hot rods of every sort. I had both a 1947 ford coupe and a 1950 ford 2 door sedan while in high school. Courted my wife in the 1950 ford. What great times, (Too bad we will never see it again!) I for one miss it! It was nothing to go to a local restaurant with car hops that brought your food to your car. It was every weekend ritual. And there you could cruise to the next town to another hang out and see every kind of hot rod imaginable. Thanks for the memories. I am soon to be 83 years old and still enjoy hot rods.

Thank you for this epic 3 hours of Hot Rod Heaven, there truly are some exquisite cars there, you guys are so lucky in the States, these shows make the ones we have over the pond seem so small by comparison, makes me miss my Hot Rod from back in the day.

Minn. looks to have a nice stste fairgrounds with an inviting infrastructure. I`ve seen a few other people enjoying themselves here. Nice to see summer weather during the winter!
