Can you make a minecraft base so hidden that it's impossible to find? Today I risk $2000 against 3 youtubers to see if I can create a minecraft base in a small border that is totally unfindable. What is the best way to hide a minecraft base and make it hidden / secret? Let's find out

  • As a 2b2t player all I can say is that the actually safest way to store your stuff is to go to very far out coordinates and hide your stuff in dungeon/mineshaft chests while also leaving all the surrounding terrain completely untouched.

    • Yep, the ol' general rule of thumb learned from experience. It takes people way longer to find your stash the further away you are from spawn or any known coordinates, especially leaked ones. Even nomads like myself have to do this with our beds for respawn points, since basing, making a hut above ground, or even just trying to hid in a dugout underground is unsafe.

  • Okay, that last one was a surprising curveball and honestly, it's a fair point too. _Anywhere_ can be the base at any given size, whether it's built up to be something elaborate or just scoped out as an entire perimeter of chunks in the world to use. And then of course, putting the chest high up in the sky is perf and also kinda funny when you look behind it to see the flying machine just in render distance. XD

Ladders could be found with pie chart, water could be found and even air could be found since its in the other group of the pie chart. lastly the I have to say that a base requires storage, smelting ,and crafting AND HAS to be 5x5 it doesnt matter if its 1000 blocks tall or 1 those are what you need to call something a base he is making his own rules tho so I should stop making a essay about a yt video and start doing my school work hope you didnt fcking read this. have a good day.

  • A couple of thoughts: Create hundreds of fake empty bases to frustrate attackers' efforts, but not as much to attract their attention. Create a base in the place where just random strip-mining is unlikely to happen, such as on ocean floor surrounded by waterlogged caves - people tend to ignore those out of frustration. Under large deep lava lakes would be ideal but also dangerous. If possible move away from any centers of attention, especially the spawn point. Masquerade the base as a (broken) generated structure. Even if inside, attacker shouldn't understand it's a base.
