The fact they can learn languages at such a rapid and efficient rate is actually very impressive, as a language learner you would appreciate to given the amount of time and effort that goes into learning just one language, let alone two or three and maintaining a language outside of the country that your club is in, he was rapid to respond to Thierry in French despite the fact he plays in Italy. A lot of people think that when you learn a language to fluency that it just magically stays in your inventory forever with 0 future effort. • @davinnicode your "lecturer" from Birmingham probably didn't have a great command of the language himself hence the inability to control his laughter. I have worked with " Brits" from Birmingham whose level of English is atrocious so I wouldn't pay any heed to their understanding or lack of the English language. The only issue with Carragher's questioning was that he didn't simplify the question for Leao which the presenter did to her credit. For a native like myself the real issue and lack of understanding was that of Henry's questioning towards Leao! It is absolutely no surprise Henry failed in management as who the f**k could understand what the man blabbers on about!!

  • Poor Carragher ahahahah but Leao handled it very classy, I feel it’s also very hard to understand 3-4 people speaking on a single earplug. I also would like to add that nobody in Italy refers to “Inter” as “Inter Milan” or “Internazionale”. We just call it “inter”, cause there’s no need to specify they are from Milano. The other team is Milan, no confusion, different names.

For who might be impressed why he speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and English easily. Education is the reason. We learn English in Portugal since we're 5yo to 18yo in Schools. Beside English classes we also have 3 years of French Classes in High School. And Rafael played some years both in France and Italy. Portuguese and Spanish languages are almost the same. Italian is very simple for Portuguese to understand and learn in few months 'cause that's not too different from Portuguese/Spanish either. Best Regards from Portugal❤
