E.A.T is saucy bros
Only using sub level 3 stratagems and items. No meta options, except for maybe eagle airstrike, but that precision strike got that umph
Enjoy!

Your videos became my before bed routine by now. Really enjoying chill but at the same time informative gameplay with commentary. Keep it up my man! 👊
Lol same for me, im tucked into bed rn🤣🤣🤣

DUDE SAME. His voice is so relaxing and easy to fall asleep to. Not monotone but also not too many inflections in pitch which overall makes it easy to listen and drift asleep to
Easily the best content creator for Helldivers. Combination of skill, game knowledge and great commentary. Wish you the best on your growth. Keep it up.
Totally agree 👏
Here here! Definitely best creator for the game I've seen. Keep it coming!
10:30 They do open the door, you just have to move them closer :)
Came to the comments to say this.

fourth this
As a Slugger main, I've noticed that some players prefer using the Punisher due to its increased stagger potential compared to the Slugger(slugger has .5 vs punishers 1 stagger or somthing like that). Additionally, its wider weapon spread allows for better area-of-effect (AOE) clearing instead of relying solely on collaterals. Moreover, many find it slightly easier to hit targets with the spread pattern of the Punisher.
They are both seriously underrated. They are extremly well for ammo Reservation and easily Pop even Brood Commanders
Slugger was already considered top tier before they got buffed. Now even more so. Punisher is maybe underrated but not Slugger.
Slugger can also open container doors with 1 shot fyi
I tried both and the Slugger just lets you punch through armor Punisher felt like slapper the Hive Gaurds with a wet tissue. A wet tissue that knocks them back a lot.
This aged like milk (wine for punisher mains though)
You sir are a natural commentator! Your skill of coordinating gameplay and commentary ensures that there’s no down time throughout the whole video. Bravo!
24:00 dude is an absolute machine taking out those hunters
I main the punisher because i find its much easier to hit hunters while they get close
Tried slugger but against fast moving targets it's easy to miss, punisher was easier to handle.
I haven't unlocked the slugger yet, but i love how the spread of the punisher will still stop hunters if i dont land a perfect hit, letting me follow up a shot at center mass. Even from a distance, you can unload it into groups of enemies, and it can kill multiple little guys in a single shot
@@deags8975bruh, slugger against the shriekers is painful at times. I swapped back to the sickle if I know I might bump into them.
Two tips for those container supply caches, you can spam mark on it and you will mark whats to know exactly whats there. And, you can open them with explosive barrels but you need to pick one up and move it closer!
That's gonna save me alotta grenades thanks
You can also just shoot them open with a gun
Slug shotgun also opens container door, can just shoot it once
Didn't think you'd take up the challenge I posted. Very impressive. Cheers mate!
Today, I reached level 10 and ventured into solo level 5, where I faced significant challenges. Your guidance has illuminated the flaws in my mindset, and I'm now prepared to put in the effort to improve. This video was truly insightful, earning a perfect score of 10/10. Wishing you a fantastic week ahead, sir!
I'm surprised there haven't been more comments on all of the precision strikes that you nailed on bile titans. That was very fun to watch
Imagine being the scientist being rescued, as soon as they get out the door they just see one singular helldiver and a whole bunch of bug corpses strewn about the facility. Good gameplay anyways! I love your videos, hope to see more!
A tip I learned a few days ago is that if you have your grenade equipped when you resupply you get an extra grenade it also works with the grenade boxes on the ground
Takibo for the rogue outpost, every time you get to the middle of the rogue outpost, you will be able to call in a hellbomb. You only need to blow up the grey building so throw it a little bit close to it but not right on top of it so you don't get stuck on the hellbomb terminal. You don't ever need to waste resources on it Also, the starting level 1 grenades do 4 times more damage than that frag you equipped, they are much better And for the Punisher vs Slugger, the Punisher does more damage to unarmored and lightly armored enemies (the slugger can sometimes not oneshot a Hunter for example if you hit a limb), and more importantly, with the reload tech (you can mash reload to pop new shells in inbetween shots and essentially have infinite magazine capacity) the Punisher is less likely to miss since it's buckshot, when you use reload tech the point of aim gets very wonky and you can't be accurate
I've been in a couple games where it wouldn't let me call the hellbomb and nothing else would destroy it... Just an occasional bug I guess
@@6kunio8 Most likely, I've never had it happen, it could be a recent thing too
@@6kunio8Seen the bug before, but have heard it is just visual- if you know the input or have it pulled up on another device, you can input it anyways. I've heard.
@@YourCrazyDolphin Oh that's crazy, this one happens to me a lot so i will test in next time
I dont usually comment on videos but damn, the ablity you have to make full run commentary entertaining and informative at the same time all the time, just incredible. Hope you blow up soon, keep up the good work!
10:24 - The barrels do blow the crate open, but you have to pick one up and move it closer to it before detonating it.
I was just saying that lol
Cant thank you enough for these regular uploads. Youre my go to when it comes to helldivers 2 content, which i consume alot btw right when i’m in bed haha
I cannot get enough of your videos man. Great work.
NICE. This is the video I've been waiting for. And what a close run it's been. GG
Can’t believe I wasn’t subscribed, thank you for keeping this game feeling alive. By far the biggest breath of fresh air to my gaming pass-time! Also hope to see you on the battlefield Helldiver🫡
This one was actually quite informative since it is quite similar to the load out I run even as a slightly higher-level player (except swap an offensive strategem for a Supply pack for team play). Great work!
Man, youve been killing it with the vids. Best helldivers player ive seen by far
Really love your content. Great job!
Would love a vid on how to take on helldiver defend missions solo they're almost impossible to take on solo due to the inability to break contact or retreat strategically. Love your vids man learned 70% of the stuff I know from you keep it up man!💪
So the way my brain works, i typically only latch onto one content creator for every niche im into. You sir, far and beyond, are my favorite helldivers content creator. I quite literally will only be watching your runs for this game. Great comms, skilled AND realistically achievable gameplay, and very knowledgeable. Keep it up sir! Side question; do you have a squad you run with? These solo runs are amazing but i think seeing you and a team coordinate would also be awesome content. I can see you starting the Team Darkside of this game.
Watched a lot of your videos and I'm still amazed how fast and precise your aim is every time
You’re insane dog. Keep killing it!
My own personal feeling is that having 50% more limb health increases my survivability MUCH more than the highest armor rating in the game does. And then there's the coinflip not to die which is of course sometimes clutch. Also I know I suggested a challenge last time but how about a full laser loadout? Laser Cannon, laser pistol, laser guard dog, orbital laser and the Scythe as a primary (although I'll be nice and say the Sickle is also allowed)
Used to use the punisher a lot, but have changed into loving the slugger more. I loved the punisher because of its stagger or what I like to call knockback power. It was essentially for me so I can achieve some space when dealing with brood commanders or hunters. They do a pretty good amount of dmg too so I loved using it pre-slugger. The slugger does do the same knockback power, but from what I’ve experienced it doesn’t push back as much (maybe because the shots have less spread?). Though, the main reason I love the slugger more is because of its damage and penetration. You can actually open those cargo crates with it and break fences. You can shoot through hive guards armor and most of the time, two shot headshot brood commanders when they’re pretty close. Good luck fellow Helldivers, hope this info helps out.
The Slugger doesn't have any spread since it uses slugs (1 big projectile at a time, punching through armor and even several enemies at once). So it is stronger, but requires better and more careful aim, imo.
We even get to watch this stunning gameplay in 2k@60FPS. An absolute legend.
Punisher lover here, You answered your own question almost immediately. I also love the slugger but I feel when you get swarmed that spread is more helpful than precision. Punisher > bugs, Slugger > bots.
As a predominantly solo helldiver myself these runs are super awesome to witness! You make this look easy! Keep it up mate! These challenge runs are sick! Not sure if you have already done this, but what do you think about doing a "level 1" Challenge Run? (Liberator, Peace Maker, Frag, Oribital Precision Strike, Machine Gun) Would this be even possible?
Definitely my favorite video by you yet. Awesome to see what's possible with essentially starting equipment. I'm still working my up through the ranks, and these videos definitely help make it feel possible to keep pushing higher difficulties. And there's something comforting at seeing someone who's clearly so experienced and so skilled with the game not knowing you know, like moving the barrel over to the storage container door, or calling in a hellbomb as a way of taking out rogue research stations. Cool to see there's always something more to learn!
Love your videos! I would like to see a challenge where you use mainly sentries! (or maybe 3 sentries with railcannon or 500 kg). I think it would be awesome to see.
I would Love to see your guide on eradicate missions. Because those are the worst (IMO). Great work as always Helldiver! May the wings of freedom guide you!
This was the best run yet. Good job.
cool challenge!!! i had a couple ideas for a few that might be fun randomized equipment your primaey, secondary, grenades, armor, and strategems are all randonly selected for the mission and you have to work with whatever you get summoner playthrough you cannot deal direct damage to enemies. you can only deal damage to enemies using sentries and a rover. no eagles or orbitals allowed. (not sure how doable it is but itd be fun to see attempted)
you called hellbombs hellpods so many times and I couldn't figure out what the hell you were talking about lol. great vid as always!
Here's something else I would like for you to attempt or even figure out a way to do it solo: Completing the "Termind Control" defense mission type solo (on helldive of course). It seems close to impossible to me. Edit: I mean the default "Eradicate Termind Swarm" defense mission, not the special one from last week's MO which you already covered. Love your videos btw, keep it up!
I'm not sure we still have those available, it was an event. But he did videos about doing it solo, it's actually pretty easy once you know the tricks!
I think he means the standard defense extermination mission where you have to kill x amount of bugs and then you can extract @@DacianGradaMusic
kzhead.info/sun/mdCloqewiZardas/bejne.html
@@DacianGradaMusic Yes I saw that one! But I do indeed mean the standard defense missions where you just have to kill 500 bugs on a tiny map. They are super easy in a group, but solo I just die and run out of reinforces because all the bugs just focus on you and at least for me it's simply too many.
They ware really difficult. My stratergy so far has been to take 4 turrets. Mortar, tesla, gatteling and autocannon. Throw them all towards the edge of the map and crouch and camp. They should be able to kill a good chunk of bugs or bits before they run out of ammo, and then you die. While your waiting for them to recharge just run away until they are recharged again, and throw all 4 in a similar location. They can't hold the swarms alone so you need all 4 supporting eachother. It's a bit cheesy but it does work and it's really satisfying@@AstvomBaum
Damn that was tense. Good job!
This video is great, I am level 25 now and unlocked everything. The game has gotten much harder but only because I did not understand progression. Yes, having a level 20 mobile shield generator is great, but against bugs I never go without level 10 laser rover again. Autocannon? Railgun? Spear? Just go with Expendable Anti-Tank you unlock at level 3.
that was pretty impressive to escape with all your samples considering how tight the time was, well done!
You sir, are a delight
According to the group that did the testing for that one huge "here's how patrols work" post, pushing the button for the SEAF artillery doesn't actually cause patrols to show up. Just being at unfinished side objectives causes spawns, which made people think that pushing the button caused it
It does alert existing bugs, though. I saw them turn, look, and walk over once I pressed a terminal.
It definitely pulls aggro. Doesn’t trigger spawns, but still more stealthy to prepare all the ammo, then trigger the terminal, load it up and get the hell out of dodge.
Man, you are GOOD, im lvl9 and I struggle as FUUUUU** on solo lvl 3 missions
I really enjoy how the Punisher is an early game weapon, as it is an incredibly forgiving weapon for people that have yet to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals. (though at the same time it is also it's detriment) with how it have a knock-back effect on almost all enemies, have a high amount of burst damage, the shots covering a large area, and you reload 1 shell at a time, making it so that you do not get punished for repeatably hitting reload. I used it a lot at the lower levels until I got the hang of how the enemies operates, after which I switched to the Breaker, that helped with understanding ammo efficiency/usage and the clip system.
Way to pull it off, Legend.
First of all, you have to acknowledge without envy that you have incredible skill, the way you play is really nice and it's fun to see what you can achieve, but even if you used the standard equipment, you won't find it on every map Just a suitable weapon and, through your experience as a solo player, you have learned to stay calm and focus, something you rarely experience. I started with my friends 4 days ago and nobody can quickly use the tactical equipment at the right moment or choose what they need, so I consider the challenger to have been mastered, but it is far from a player who has just reached level 3 can now complete this mission on helldive I guess prove me wrong Anyway impressive great job I couldn't do this on my own
you are absolutely cracked brother
These videos are my favorite sit back and have a beer videos! lol
The constant patrols you were getting in the final objective is more akin to what happens when I run missions... seems like another patrol pops as soon as I finish the first. Seeing it on here tells me it is probably my loadout and how quickly you dispatch patrols/breaches vs me.
You can call a bell bomb down for the rogue research station. It rarely shows in your stratagem menu, but you can still call it down if you remember the combination.
I'm not sure what are the possible options of those red/blue caches that you have to grenade to open, but I believe you can try to tag while aiming towards them and it should reveal if there's a weapon; happened to me a couple times with the salute pods too! Also, funny enouigh getting a railgun nowadays is considered bad so you can totally use it here lmao
Can confirm i tagged a container and saw it had samples in it
10:26 the barrel explosions can open those doors, just need to put one right next to the door cause the effective radius is kinda tight
I barely survive in difficult and this man nailed helldive difficulty solo, hat’s off
great content! can you make a video covering what you’d use to replace the arc thrower w/ another support weapon with the CE-74 breaker set?
You can summon a hellbomb strategem when near the rogue research station to blow it up.
For some reason it hellbomb was not available as stratagem when he was close to station, I wonder why?
@@Kanabuhochi It may still be available, if you think you should have access to a strategem and it's not in the list, try putting in the code anyway. This was a problem during the free mech week and we discovered both hellbombs and seaf artillery could be missing from the list and still be called in.
@@Kanabuhochiperhaps a bug with mission freebie stratagems. I was trying to hell bomb a shrieker nest but only had the mission 500kg eagle. I thought they had the same damage but the 500kg did nothing to the three nests...
The barrels at the closed containers do actually open them, it's how I routinely would do it when I first started, but it seems inconsistent for some reason. Even if you manually place one next to it, sometimes it just doesn't wanna give. The unfortunate thing running these missions solo is when you run into a teamwork door, barring finding a super sample rock, they usually have the best rewards.
I used the Punisher extensively before I unlocked the Slugger, but I was able to make up for the Punisher's weakness against medium armor by just shooting hive guards twice with the Autocannon. I wouldn't go back, but I think the Punisher is probably the best weapon someone new to the game can use without spending SC to get the Sickle. I'm still using the Autocannon, too. It's too versatile to not take. It one taps brood commanders, 3-4 shots to the abdomen of chargers and they're dead. It closes bug holes, kills spore spewers in 2 shots across the map (and transmission towers with 1), kills shrieker nests in a few shots. The splash damage radius isn't *great*, but it's not terrible in a pinch against smaller bugs if they're bunched up closely enough.
good aim with the shotgun! you should try the "hold my primary I'm going in" achievement on helldive difficulty then XD
12:30 I use the slugger bc my main weapon is the arc thrower. It simply serves both as a means to kill stalkers (they don't take much damage from electricity) and to break mushrooms. However, over the breaker shotgun, it has a bit more armor penetration, which helps in case I die and don't have access to the thrower.
Resupply grenade tip. If you have atleast 1 used already ( so like 3 of 4 ) and you resupply while holding out your nade you will get 1 extra. By default equipping grenade is 4 on PC and right D-PAD on ps5.
I'll have to do this from now on to help clear nests, thanks
@takibo @4:33 before the eagle strike the option for a hellbomb was there in the stagegems for the facility
What a phenomenal fkn run! Well done, soldier. 🫡
Hi, I alternate between slugger and punisher a lot. I like both, punisher has more short range damage than the slugger and the spread allows to wound even on near misses and sometimes can stagger two hunters at once. Also the explosives in the point of interest can open the container, but you have to move them a bit.
Very good video to watch. It's boring just watching shield backpack, railgun/arc/strats mowing through Helldive difficulty twitch shooting enemies. It's useful to get some insight into tactics to work your way through a mission without getting swamped. Personally, my biggest problem is visibility. Half of the planets i cannot see things until they are pretty much on top of me. Explosive barrels can be picked up, so toss them closer to the container and open with a pistol round.
I don’t have the slugger yet, but I think the punisher is a solid low level beginner gun. It rids of the wasting ammo thing when reloading that every player struggles with in the beginning. And it has lots of ammo in the chamber. When ADSing the punisher is great for bots as it almost acts like a sniper. One head shot and they’re gone. I’ve killed devastators from a far with the punisher. I think it’s just an overall strong beginner level gun for balance. If the most viable guns were only available on the last page of the warbonds, we’d be losing this war. Luckily, the punisher is available on the first page of the first warbond. neat little trick as I like to believe this was intentional by the devs so we keep playing to get newer guns to see if they hold their own like the punisher. I could be wrong though.
I tend to use the Punisher when I roll Anti-Material and EAT. Just a fun mobile combo. Anti-Material for any larger mobs, punisher for smaller, the spread at medium range is pretty nice for clearing. Plus it still has some knock-back. The Sickle still does have a spot tho, that thing is just awesome.
For bugs if I’m running a pump it is the punisher bc of the big push back for enemies that get close like hunters and leapers. Pair this w the rover backpack, and arc thrower (once crashes are fixed) and you will have a huge wave clear potential. I bring the Senators too to punch through the hive guard or bile spewer armor. For bots though, slugger is my go to for a pump.
Love that shotgun. It's carried me to level 20 so far. My favorite part of it is the ability to reload and not waste ammunition. The high damage also is very appealing.
Out of curiosity @takibo, what monitor are you rocking?
punisher main! also a rook, so my input should be taken with salt. i love the thing because my spongey brain loves to press the reload button, and the rounds-reload means i don't constantly waste ammo by doing so. also because there's an awesome rhythm to the "back up, load two shells, fire both while backing away, load two shells, repeat" method of fleeing combat.
Anti Tank and Punisher have been my go to for 15 levels now and I love them
The secret container door does open if you explode a barrel NEXT to it, you have to pick up the barrel and throw it against the door and then blow it up
Direct hits kill the research station. And for the cargo containers considering the little gas cannisters can kill you while holding them or with fire there is no in between. It has to be right against the doors. Also you can get enemies to destroy them too if led through the area and they path to it. Nearby drops of resupplies/eat its can also do it
The Punisher has more stagger than the Slugger. It's also less reliant on being accurate since it does have a slight spread (which helps with hunters). It does about 4x the damage of a Slugger at short range, so it will drop a Stalker faster while pretty much keeping them stun-locked. As far as dealing with Hive Guards, I usually carry the Senator for that or use grenades or my support weapon.
I think it takes two if you hit the stalk rather than the top. For the shrieker nest. The barrels can open the crates, they just need to be thrown a little closer.
He has a huge advantage as the ship upgrades help immensely.
exciting for this one!
Punisher main here! Honestly I just haven't unlocked the slugger yet since it's on page 7 I think. I prefer the Punisher over the Breaker due to it's ability to stagger. The breaker is better at handling swarms, but with good positioning nothing gets too close to you.
Punisher main here, since the stagger changes to the Slugger, the Punisher is still so strong. You can bully Stalkers, Marauders and Devastators, keeping them perma-stunned. Even though it struggles with medium armor, the spread means you can usually get good damage onto weak spots. I like to take the jump pack as well and kite enemies all day with the knockback and added mobility. The Pinisher is solid up through Helldive difficulty, imo
Wish you could have played with the liberator rifle, it’s the starter weapon and the one I still love the most 😢
The barrels actually can open the crates! They just have a small explosion radius, so they need to be right next to the crate to open it.
For the destroy rogue station secondary objective, you just gotta go close to the center of the objective and you will get a prompt to call down a hellbomb. Then you just need to arm that and run away from it.
There is a bug that just doesn't give you the prompt to call in a hellbomb. The same happens a lot for Detector Towers.
Will it be fair to up the challenge on actually using weapon and the armor you get right after you do the training/tutorial area and for stratagems only from level 2 and under no matter which one.
If y ou look at the shells for the seaf artillery they are apfsds rounds, which are a precision kinetic round
challange idea: pacifist run. HEAR ME OUT! Run around with bile titans and let them spit everything to death you want to destroy xD looking forward to a 3h video ;)
ive started using the hmg emplacement for shrieker nests, also helps clear out tougher enemies in swarms (hive guards, brood commanders, bile and nursing spewers). 2:40 cooldown isnt bad either
i usually only opt in for the punisher over the slugger on defensive missions like eradicates, escort survivors, and tcs bc it’s easier to smaller enemies which are usually closer to you on these missions
Something for a "highscore" run where you just want to get as many kills as possible kills: Rush evac before anything else. This will 1/4th the timer on patrol spawns, but if you leave the evac zone in the very small window before the pelican lands and the timer ends, you'll have pelican air support for the rest of the mission. Just waiting for you to come back to evac. The biggest downside is that the evac music plays nonstop tbh. But yeah, tons of enemy spawn ins means plenty to kill.
It's funny that you were interested in hearing from Punisher people because this video is making me consider going back to it from the Breaker. With the Breaker's firerate I just end up wasting ammo and it does less damage anyway.
Yeah, but its potential being full-auto is reserved for when you're getting swarmed. Which is 90% of the time on bug planets xD
I think the only redeeming factor for the punisher is the shells vs magazine size reload. You can shoot as you’re topping off the shells. But ive opted to not use the punisher as soon as i got the breaker incendiary & jar-5 dominator.
This one is impressive. I thought there was no way you were making it out!!
The blast radius of orbital precision strike is now almost the same as 500kg bomb. Both require precision in order to kill a titan, but you get a bit of leeway, just not too much.
Man I’ve been soloing suicide mission completely stealth to get in and out with the super samples. Helldive doesn’t look too bad. Might be able to sneak in and out of one of those.
The explosive barrels do open the crates. You have to pick it up and put in in front of the crate.
Punisher is great, you can constantly reload it to keep it loaded even while shooting and it keeps the critters at bay
As an Automaton player I've noticed that armor rating does really matter during combat with them. Heavy armor does reduce the damage taken by a decent amount especially if you have the 50% explosion resistance. It allows you to eat assault raider explosions and take a lot of abuse from Rocket Devastators and even Annihilator tanks and cannon towers. The cannon towers are still a 1 shot if it's a direct hit but I play aggro and the higher armor rating an explosive resistance is more important than speed in my opinion. (I don't helldive on solo automatons).
After doing a bunch of solo diff 9 I find the railgun to be in a very good spot right now. It can one shot brood commanders, bile spewers, stalkers, hive guards on safe, and 3 shot chargers on high overcharge. Great for finishing of a bile titan that lived through a 500 kg too. You can solo a titan, but it takes a bit. It has very good ammo efficiency too, meaning you don't have to save your ammo for chargers and titans, you can comfortably dispose of the medium bugs. The only thing that holds railgun back from being a legitimate pick is the unintended buff the arc thrower received allowing it to 6 shot chargers. If the arc thrower was in it's previous state I think all of the support weapon strategems would be pretty well balanced around each other. It would be very nice if you did a full run with the railgun, for pairing with it I recommend the sickle, redeemer, shield backpack/rover, 500kg. Last strategem can be the orbital railgun, eagle airstrike/clusterbomb or even EAT.
Absolutely unreal with the orbital strike
