@@menkirdennis6686 was just saying that the other day, thank you for pointing that out. That stat was heavily curved by ESPN to make Curry look bad. “The clutch” is generally considered the end of the 4th quarter, not the last 20 seconds. If you bump it up to the last 6 minutes, he has a hella lot of shots in the clutch 😂 is it acceptable for him to be 0/8 in those go-ahead situations? Obviously not. But he’s amazingly clutch in every other scenario. I think the best way to put it is that he has not shown the last shot is for him, but any other type of shot. He’s money

Didn't you get the memo? Shots like these count as clutch only for OTHER players. For Steph, it can't be a game-tying shot, or a shot to turn a 2-point lead into a 5-point lead with 25 seconds left, or a go-ahead shot with 23 seconds left, or 17 points in an overtime period. Those are clutch ONLY for OTHER players. For Steph, we only count it as clutch if it's a "go-ahead" shot in the final 20 seconds. Them's the rules.

Thats just cuz he they knitpick his stats to say hes 0-8 in go-ahead shots in the last *20 seconds*. They went as far as the last 20 seconds just to downplay him
A lot of players can have videos like this especially when u make it to the finals every year cause u have a super team
He’s money
I mean a lot of these games they ended up losing 🤷🏾♂️
Exactly. Why pick under 20 secs instead of 30 secs?? Nitpicking at its finest.
ESPN's definition of clutch in 2020: 5 point game with 5 minutes left in 4th or OT ESPN's definition of clutch when talking about Steph: Go-ahead shots only in the last 20 seconds of the 4th quarter ESPN analysts are some of the most toxic in all sports and Im glad I stopped watching them 2 years ago
Also why isnt a shot to cut the lead from 7 to 4 with 4 mins left not clutch? The definition of clutch is so dumb lol

3:49 is the best clutch shot for me, just hear that crowd stayed silence until the ball went in, crazy
I hold him to a different standard because of how deified he is by fans and media.
