to answer your question about October being month 10, it was months eight originally. Then Julius Caesar and his cousin Augustus decided that they wanted months to commemorate themselves in the Roman calendar, creating July and August. That is what pushed October into being the 10th month.
not true actually. July and August were just renamed, originally being called "Quintilis" and "Sextilis" (5th and 6th months). The real reason months were moved two ahead in the year is because the year originally started in March rather than January

What I've heard is that originally March was the first month, therefore making October the 8th month. The Romans originally just, didn't count the time between December and March, but when they decided to do so, they stuck January and February on the beginning and not the end for some reason. (Also, August and July were originally named Quintilis and Sextilis, after 5 and 6)

It's the most important number! all of modern day money depends on 5 to work (not counting pennies, because those are terrible) it goes into every 10 and 100 like it's made for them, and when you multiply 5 by itself, you get a neat four digit number that works in a lot of places.

The 42 thing came from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. It then became a meme it the late 80's and early 90's. It then became actually became bit true when some mathmetitians in a university concluded that 42 was mathematically perfect. A bit more interesting than 5 in that dividing by it makes not a clean number like 0.2, but an infinitely repeating decimal. It is also the most "random" of the 1 digit numbers, as people will say it more than any other number. Other than that, it is a relatively boring number, and so it joins 4 in C tier. 8.
