During an interview at the All Things Digital conference in 2010, Steve Jobs was asked what his day to day schedule at Apple was like. And Jobs replied, “What I do all day is meet with teams of people and work on ideas and new problems to come up with new products.” And, while that’s a pretty vague answer, it got me thinking what a day in the life of Steve Jobs was really like. So in this video, I’ll be explaining, in detail, Job’s morning routine, what he did at work, what he ate, and how he liked to relax.
Music: Bensound - Piano Moment
Every time I watch these Steve Jobs clips, I feel so energized at life.
Why ? Because he was a busy man ?
That's sad ,that mean you're pathetic
@@riverdaletales8457 how did you get that from the video? He spend a lot of time winding down, relaxing, and self reflection. He only spend 8hr on the office

He had a peaceful way of life, he knew how to recharge himself. We can all learn something from him nowadays
Love the ''one-man focus group'' philosophy Apple had with Steve, it shows that he followed his intuition and had a good taste in products/user experience.

Yeah, clearly he had great taste and extremely high standards. I owned many Apple products from Jobs' era and they did exude this intangible something that just attracted you to the products. I would sometimes just sit and marvel at the product instead of using it, they were that good. Apple products I think are still great now, but they have lost that magical something I feel...might just be placebo knowing Jobs is not behind them anymore, but I really think so.
I feel like many people think of Steve Jobs as this ruthless leader he was and very strict and everything, but I feel like this shows a different side in him And then Tim Cook is seen as the nice guy, while Apple Explained’s video on Tim Cook’s daily routine showed he was VERY intimidating.
What if the content of this vid is really sieved???
True
Steve is WAY meaner than Tim. Look at first hand account's.
@@drcola143 I mean, I know that, but as one of them is….wel….ded…….the other one is intimidating

really cool that he's not the stereotypical billionaire. i aspire to be like him one day, never cares about money, but always cares about what a person can do to innovate.

Steve Jobs is the definition of minimalistic. And it translates in Apples products to this day.
💯
I felt like jobs and johny ive introduce minimalistic designs to the world until it become mainstream.. many businesses follows apple design approached
He worked really hard to get apple to this point and the fact that he didnt do it for money is 🔥
@Bijan Mehrpour yeah, I totally agree with you
He didn't care about money and told shareholders they can go eff themselves, he cared about making great products and thats it!
It's funny you guys say this when he still ended up becoming one of the richest people in the world before his death.
@@McGregor43 when he died he was the 110th richest man with 8.9B dollars. He could have made way more if he did everything for money, its not possible for someone who owns one of the biggest companies in the world not to be even in the top 100s
@Bijan Mehrpour Yeah, I tend to agree. Money was not important to Jobs, money was important to APPLE, a company he was passionate about. Companies successes are often measured in profit. He did strive to make Apple very profitable, but that was his desire to make Apple successful, not for his own fortune. It would be unfair to say Jobs didn't care about money at all, but you can't fake living modestly. Reminds me of Warren Buffet. He is not driven by money, but his hobby, investing, is judged by how much money you can make. He is passionate about making great investments, not about money. And like Jobs, he lives very modestly.
2:15 Hands down, Scott Forstall was the cool one! That jean and shirt combo is 🔥.

As someone who’s slowly getting their life together, watching these Steve Jobs clips motivates me to be in tune with my intuition as well. Despite multiple characterizations of Jobs, I just admire the man for staying on his path of what he felt was right.
Same here. Wow!
I too am inspired by many things Jobs did but I hope I’m better to the people around me than he was.

Absolutely so.

Love this channel so much. Motivated me to do my degree❤️
The videos of this kind help me imaging myself being a Steve Jobs. It's such a pleasant activity! Similar to watching videos about traveling and imaging being on those islands. But seriously speaking, watching about him also gives me power to go forward.
Still find that family photo at 4:43 with his first child Lisa (standing beside him on the left; she was born out of wedlock with Chrisann Brennan, Steve's first girlfriend) amazing. The fact that he disowned them for the greater part of his younger life, then welcoming her to his family, is something interesting of Steve. Most of these I kinda knew from his autobiography as well as from Brennan's book "The Bite in the Apple".
Fun fact: Jobs switched his car every three months to avoid having a licence plate on his car. Also there an interview with Andy miller (VP at apple) about how intimidating Steve Jobs could be
Jobs intimidating personality is the worst kept secret on the planet.
I highly doubt this is true. Back then California didn't issue temporary license plates, so you could legally drive without a license plate for 90 days. Except many people would simply never bother putting one on their car, and since the police had to pull over every car without a plate to know if that car was newly registered they would let it slide 99% of the time. But in the case of Steve Jobs, he had been seen around driving his SL55 without plates for more than 90 days. So either people started making assumptions or this story was created by his "entourage" so that he would never have to worry about being bothered by the police.
*4:31* that's the reason he remembered even today with an honor. With the utter focus only on his life rather than showcasing his net worth.
i believe Steve Jobs learned a lot about Buddhism during a trip to India which is why it had a huge influence on his lifestyle
Ya ,my teacher taught me too
Dear Steve, 10 years have passed, and we miss you so much. A true innovator, but also a philosopher. Your vision of the world is the one that inspires me everyday. Btw, I have full bio of Steve on my channel.
2:08 - It’s wild that, in this whole lineup of brilliant talented people, Eddy Cue is the only one still at Apple. I guess technically Phil Schiller is still there but really just in an emeritus capacity.
Thanks for this - I was one of those who voted for it - as mentioned it came second - so didn't expect it yet - but really glad you presented it...
Just WOW ❤️ Simplicity 💎

Hey Greg, great video. I voted on this one! Would you mind telling me where you got your info. I would definitely want to read more on it.
U doing a great job ! Super informative!
Steve was a genius when it came to selling Apple’s products. It was his vision that steered the company to success. However, Job’s vision never would have come to fruition if it weren’t for Woz and the other Apple engineers, who were geniuses also. As you can plainly see, one could not succeed without the other. It was (more or less) a symbiotic relationship that required both sides to be truly successful.

Every time I watch something about Steve Jobs, I feel inspired, yet I also feel sad at a life cut so short. He had an incredible mind and had so much more he could have done. Sometimes it makes me cry.
Since he died I think his kids and wife were super sad 😭😭
Why cry??? You didn't know him nor was he family. This is mental/American.
Nice video, the way he did things with focus. There is another video when Jony Ive talked about Steve's focus. Video: Jony Ive on Focus - Steve Jobs Most Focused Person He Ever Met. It is interesting to talk about this topic, specifically in his focus.

Nah. Read her memoir to see how much of a monster he was.
This video couldn't be more on time. Monday morning, hot tea, and fresh mind. 😊
It makes sense Jobs didn't commute until near 8:30-9 AM. Palo Alto to Cupertino can be the pits on 280 even southbound at times (altho south is often much better than north at that time of the day); going north in the afternoon-evening the same. At least that was my experience in San Francisco Bay Area for just under 30 years!
An Apple ad was on this video, that’s awesome

Considering his early demises I was under an impression that this man lived a poorly managed lifestyle. I have heard he ran continuous meetings late at night and early morning too. So shocked to know that he was very disciplined and ran most of his life consuming a healthy diet such as fruits, nuts and consuming limited alcohol still went too early. Cancer is always unpredictable.
How could eating just one fruit for weeks be considered healthy? It sure wasnt
