Here's a big question many of us have thought about for sometime. Although the movie was made LOOOONG before the Monsterverse came into being, would the events of the 1932 King Kong movie share any small connection with THIS universe? I only ask due to two reasons, that my father blindly claims the OG Kong is "superior" to all other versions of the character (from Peter Jackson's to the current version) and for the fact that New Empire reveals there were more of Kong's species out there. With this in mind, it stands to reason that the 30s Kong and the CURRENT Kong are two different generations of their kind

@@namdang7726 I’d give it a Solid 8. It had some decent action sequences and monster fights. The human story didn’t intrude too much. It had a decent amount of balance.

What we saw in Monarch series wasn't the Hollow Earth. But it was Axis Mundi, a realm between Earth and Hollow Earth.

I just realized something: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters helps explain why they needed Kong to get into the Hollow Earth. In Episode 9, the government used the radioactive effects of the Ion Dragon to explore the Hollow Earth & Axis Mundi. In the next episode, the Ion Dragon and Godzilla are shown again to have effects on Hollow Earth tunnels. Going back to GvK, they needed Kong to show them the way because of a Titan’s emissions and influence around Hollow Earth tunnels
I would give anything to see one last film after New Empire invovling Godzilla, Kong & Mothra are all teaming up as a Trinity to fight the biggest kaiju villain of them all…. Destoroyah!. It could be the Dawn Of Justice equivalent of the Monsterverse, with perhaps Godzilla sacrificing his life at the end and Kong taking his place as the new ‘King’ of the monsters, officially gaining his title as King Kong.
What we saw in the tv series wasn’t Hollow Earth. It was a space between that and the surface.

@KillaD69 That doesn't mean there's that much of a possibility that Jet Jaguar will be in a Monsterverse movie any time soon, if at all. I think it's more likely that they'll bring in more well-known Godzilla characters like Gigan and Anguirus instead, rather than one-and-done characters like Jet Jaguar, Biollante or Battra.

I saw the movie last night and it was insane. Tons of action with Godzilla Kong and their friends. It's what we have been waiting for. See it on the biggest screen possible. Can't wait to see it again.

In my own opinion the rivalry between kong and Godzilla is basically like Sonic and shadow they will put there differences between the two in order to defeat something more powerful than they are one who doesn't like the other and more than happy to kill the other Godzilla(shadow)and one who is try to make a difference for others Kong(sonic)

Watched this expecting to refresh my memory of the Monsterverse and maybe learn something knew that I maybe missed, only to be surprised by some of end misleading info stated here. As well as knowing a bit more than what was stated? Interesting.
Space Invasion. An army of Gaigan monsters. Earth's mightiest Titans must defend the planet. This is when humans and Titans must work together to defend Earth. And hopefully, Gamera makes his debut to join the ToHo Monster Universe.
Destroya and Mecha king Ghidora would be phenomenal in the monsterverse

I would love to see Mothra and Rodan resurface and help out, but as for Scylla I doubt she will be helping seeing as how one of the trailers has Godzilla tossing her around in Italy, and in the comics he seems to just be keeping the peace between the other titans.

Kaiju is Japanese for giant monster. So it makes sense to call it kaiju because Japanese people would call them kaiju

I'm definitely a Kong and Shimo fan! I can't stand pink. I hope they bring in destroya or something like it. A good plot for a future film would be to destroy all monsters, and the human protagonist can fight a sect of Apex cybernetics. All the while, a destroya like Titan can be hunting all the monsters. 😊

What I would love to seein the next film? Are these ideas and no I could careless if you want them, use it to make it happen. 1. The first Debut Entrance of the Aliens from Planet X to make themselves known And to give out a warning threat that beckons Godzilla and the Team to Answer By not backing down. 2. If Kong gets a Solo Film, Let him Fight a Mecha-Kong in a Dimension that he discovers while finding more and more Kaijus tht need Alliances and help. 3. Mean while Godzilla gets his own team up Anguirus and fights Megalon and Varan. Straight Arena sent by the Aliens of Planet X To test Godzillas true Power. And when it fails, now we enter The Space Monsters title, where we will see film after film as Godzilla Fights one by one as he proves strong and This leads to Mecha-Koryu, Void Ghidorah, Space Godzilla and Destroyah! Why because it's to see just how powerful Godzilla and his Allies really are. This promise the Alien Family, which consist of 4 The King, The Queen, The boy and the girl who definitely aren't fkn human to begin with, but take the form of an elite higher race that, each one is devastating to say the least, and yes they can crush Godzilla and Kong with their powers they possess. But they do not come with just impolite manners but with a warning to eradicate earth of its disease..... humans. If you ask me, this would be so fkn good for a story line that would make you want more. And that's not all, The King will be last! Because he summons the Last of the Kaiju am Ancient Monster from a Parallel dimension fused with Godzilla and Ghidorahs Blood Cells to eradicate everything forcing half the earth to die out real bad, that it forces not only the humans to join the fight but every single Kaiju to stall for time in order for Godzilla himself to get Hit with a G-Cells Blood Swayze shot from the Nova X Pilot which pretty has left earth desolated in order to Transform Godzilla into a SUPER GODZILLA!! and yes perhaps even SUPER KONG!!! crazy story but it definitely would work. I'm just a Godzilla fan that's all 😅
