  • I had a couple classes with him, he was a grade above me. Our American Civil War class, taught by who we called “Big Rodgers”. In this class Rodgers was so passionate about teaching the material, unfortunately people mostly didn’t take it serious and would hide being on their phones. Joe wouldn’t, even being the popular quarterback, he didn’t follow the popular example set by his other upperclassmen. He would take the class seriously, and be engaging. Joe would talk to people “less popular” as equals, because that’s how he truly thinks of them. His humility, respectfulness, and motivation really left an impression of who he was on people around him. I’m glad he was given the recognition that he so truly deserves.

  • As a lifelong Buckeye fan and now a lifelong Jeaux Burreaux he gave the best Heisman speech and overall one of the best speeches I’ve heard in a long time. You could tell every word he spoke was straight from the heart and he meant what he said. It didn’t feel pre written and robotically rehearsed like many others. It made it really special. I remember watching Joe’s highlight films after he committed to Ohio State and remember how he would always be one of the first guys to celebrate with JT Barrett after scoring for the Buckeyes. All of Buckeye Nation and the entire state couldn’t be more proud of him. Go Jeaux, good luck in the playoffs, except if the Tigers play the Bucks! Lol

  • I’m a die hard Alabama fan. I can’t believe that I have enjoyed watching LSU and Joe Burrow this year. I have never had a chance to watch the playoffs with no dog in the fight as Bama has been there every year since it started. However, I am really going to pull for LSU almost like I would for. Bama. Blasphemy I know but how can you not love Coach O, (GO TIGERS)Joe Burrow and the stable of ultra talented players they have on both sides of the ball. Coach O is going to be a living legend at LSU if they take care of business and win the championship this year. I love him. He is going to give Saban a run for his money for the foreseeable future.
