With all due respect, saying Season 7 is full of content just isn't right. It's 90% cosmetics & 10% content, half of that content will be available at launch and the rest will be available weeks/months later in update 7.2. If you look at the Season Battle Pass at 8:38, You have two new weapons, 1 new gadget and the new Haven map. The rest of the content will be available in the 7.2 patch, and the rest of the Battle Pass is just cosmetics. Cosmetics aren't content..

So, I only tried 2042 one day and I unistalled it a few hours later. Can we now choose what servers we want to play on instead of it sending you to an empty server or a server full of bots? Im talking about the new maps not Portal, cause in Portal we can choose!

Personally I couldn't care less for the map having a really good layout. It's just arica harbor 2.0 with maybe a few more buildings in the middle of el alemain. The redacted map we got in season 6 was exceptionally unique. I expected them to keep up that kind of creativity this season considering we had to wait 5 months for it.

A new map is always welcome. I am sure the stadium will be fun to play. However, if they wanted to rework an old map, why not give us a classic map we know and love? A BFV or BF1 map or even one of the Hardline maps would have been so much better.

Even after all this time, they’ve still failed to make aiming on a controller not feel like hot garbage. I had zero problems with the older games. I can’t even play this one. It doesn’t handle right no matter what setting I change, and frankly, I’m tired of trying.

its not new map, but it is, because before, when would you have all the players in the stadium? All the times i played the old map and went to stadium, there was only 2 to 3 players there so i belive it will feel like a new new map indeed.

Tried giving 2042 a try again, still can't run it well. Sadly uninstalled after 20 mins of trial and error to get better performance. HOPEFULLY it gets better this season but it's doubtful.

80% are just skins from this season and 20% are content lol. DICE and EA definitely have their priorities. and you waited 5 months for that... what a ridiculous amount of content. The weapons and the bomber still sound cool in themselves and the 1 new map is designed a little differently than the other 2042 maps. nevertheless the next BF should have atleast 3 Maps, 4 Weapons at launch per season.

Too be honest my biggest issue with BF at the moment is the lack of content. It is as you say Westie we need more, more maps, more attachments, more ways to play. In my humble opinion they also need to bring in weekly event mods, such as only infantry, capure the flag and maybe something new, like a gamemode where vehicles and aircraft are limited to what capture point you have or maybe bring in ai bots again but this time make them bigger and more suited to killing aircraft and tanks instead of infantry. But yeah most certainly their reliance on chasing trends like Fortnite is reason why the priorities of this verison of BF is so bad they need to go back to the mil sim roots, back to the feel of Battlefield 1. Bring back Attachments that actually change the way your weapons works, the way you play stuff like this. Anyway those are just my thoughts on the matter.
Dice should just do what everyone else is doing and retro the old titles. Bring back bad company 2 and battle field 3 remastered. I would play
I'm already bored from this season. The map is alright, but it doesn't feel special. Another desert, greeeaaaat. What, there's more general destruction? That's great for this game, but it's not like it's a new concept when it's been done better before. Then there's this thing with the rest of the season coming out later with tHeIr BrAnD nEw MaP which is just the stadium from Hourglass. More recycled content. Oh let's also mention that in this season, the battle pass progression is crap AGAIN which means we're going to be stuck in this season for like half a year slowly grinding for XP. (It makes me want to slowly grind my head against the asphalt.) There's new guns, but guns aren't the most interesting when they all have the same purpose "you press trigger and they go pew pew." Oh cool, slight stat changes, different models, they still do the same thing. The gun selection feels bloated while still having very little options. Isn't there also that new rocket launcher? Doesn't it do the same thing as Liz's rocket launcher? Or is it more like a TOW cannon? The fact that it's either or shows that it's already been done and nothing truly new is being added! I'm just tired of this. Almost 3 years of drip feeding content, fixing the game so it's playable, reintroducing things that have been taken out. I'm probably very harsh on this game because I've been watching it for the past 3 years now. I remember the hype from the first trailers to the nose dive of actual gameplay. It was a roller coaster, but you have to get off eventually. I truly question whether it was worth backpedaling because all it did was force this game to be compared to much better Battlefields instead of trying something new with this one so it stands out while the next Battlefield was likely a return to format. Well, I can't say for sure how that'd turn out, maybe better, maybe worse, probably much worse but at least it wouldn't be the quiet sadness of mediocrity. Almost like Battlefield Heroes where it's a different game from the franchise, has its fans and haters, but its at least interesting to see on the timeline. Perhaps 2042 would have been comparable to watching a train wreck; horrible, but you can't help but watch. Going to play something else now.

so everyone expected the game to be dead after session 4, yet they have reworked maps, added new guns, cosmetics ect, and added 3 new sessions, i would say that's a lot of content for a game at launch was dead in a couple weeks. do not get me wrong 2042 was a flop of a game, imho as a BF fan since BFBC2 it missed every possible point that BF fans wanted or even expected from a battlefield game, but with EA being at the helm of BF i would have expected nothing but we got a lot more than nothing, i mean look at medal of honour war fighter it was done in less than a month and zero content after new year was added.

It's objectively less content than before, why do you feel the need to lie? I took twice as long and has less than previous seasons keeping in mind the reworks I don't want to discourage you from making BF content as I've enjoyed it over the years but with the state the franchise is now even quick statements like "DICE is delivering more content" when the given context proves it otherwise is just really frustrating I hope the content will be good still but it's so hard to stay positive these days. Keep up the good work man!

Dice should just focus development time for the new BF. This game is just a waste of time. The gunplay is just not good, the game itself is not good, the maps are not good, operators are the worst addition ever. This is the first Battlefield that I spent only 100h and could not stand it anymore. Had 1000+ hours for each BF before this atrocity called 2042. Damn you EA.

This franchise is on the brink of extinction. If there is a S9 the only ones left will be AI and youtubers screaming amazing. I have sort of given up. Hit-reg is bad, blackscreen still is a fact, but hey, I will give the new season a chance, but with very low expectations.
