  • The reason that this doesn't seem scary is probably because the scary part of a jumpscare is how sudden it is. In this video, you know when the jumpscares will be, so you prepare yourself for it.

  • I feel like the FNAF 4 jumpscares are better then the ALL the others, because yes, they are jumping out at you, but this time, their grabbing you and litterally PUTTING you into their jaws. Plus the shaking of the camera, which makes you feel like your being lifted and tossed around, paired with the aggressive designs.

    • The designs kill it for me though. They so exaggerated it begins to look stupid and strays away from the original designs which fit within the uncanny valley that the series originally established itself. Although I do agree that the jump scares themselves are better other than the designs .

  • The thing about fnaf jumpscare is that it's not the jumpscare itself that's scary, it's the buildup to it. Like in fnaf 4 where you literally need to put your volume up so that you can hear where the animatronics are, and when you put the volume up you can hear the protagonists breathing and anxiety. And bcs of that you start feeling anxious too bcs you don't know when the jumpscare will happen. Eg. You check the doors at the right anticipating a jumpscare but it didn't happen but then just after you calmed down it happens when you sit back down Edit: ok, ok the jumpscare was scary too now stfu
