Shiny garydos gets very poor treatment due to the guaranteed one in Johto, but let’s be honest, if it wasn’t we would all be hunting it
I'm actually really happy for finding a full ods magicarp in scarlet on my first playthrough even if you can get a guaranteed Gyarados.

I think the shiny from johto is more rare because how many people have heart gold soul silver and a ds with bank and a 3ds with transporter and bank and a switch to bring it into
Fun fact: Shiny Ditto was my very first shiny (at full 1/8192 odds) way back in my very first Gold playthrough! And unfortunately, this was back in 2000 when the internet was in its infancy and so my 15 year old self had no idea that breeding shinies in Gen 2 gave you a 1/64 chance for hatching a shiny offspring! I did once try breeding my blue Ditto with the red Gyarados to see if two shiny parents would produce a shiny offspring, and when it didn't, I just assumed that breeding shinies didn't affect the egg that would hatch.
Loved how he used beauty of annihilation for intense thinking fr how you feel playing the giant if you wanna camp at the cat walk or train in spawn or power
What the actual Arkoos...was grinding my pokemon team up some levels in Ultra Moon by farming Chanseys through SOS Chaining & I thought I should put on this video to ease the tedious grinding for a bit Lo & behold, not even into a minute when this video started, a shiny Chansey appeared (very quickly I might add) The PM7 shiny luck is real, ya'll best be subscribed to this man, he is 1 of the shiny gods lmao

My first "Full Odds Shiny" was a Poochyena on Emerald Version. Was literally one of the first Pokemon I ever caught on Emerald Version!

My first shiny was a Ponyta in pokemon pearl in that route above Solaceon town. It was amazing, I love the blue flames so much and rapidash, though still very cool, just doesn’t measure up to Ponyta
I used to farm for shiny caterpies, train them to lvl 99 and trade them to random people. These caterpie could never become shiny butterfree. Unfortunately they have now changed it such that at lvl 100 you can still give rare candy to evolve the metapod.

So far out of my shiny collection my favorites are the shiny Hisuian Zorua (evolved into Zoroark) and shiny Hisuian Braviary. (haven't filled a box in pokemon home yet, so it's a small collection...for now) Collection so far in pokemon home and which game I found them in: Psyduck/PLA Gible/PLA Teddiursa(evolved to ursaring)/PLA Aipom ×2 (one evolved to ambipom)/PLA Sneasel (evolved to weavile)/Violet Zorua (evolved to zoroark)/PLA Gastly/PLA Rufflet(evolved to Braviary)/PLA Bidoof/PLA Paras (evolved to parasect)/PLA Shiny fails: drifloon/PLA (despawned because it became morning) The sneasel i caught in Pokemon Violet was my first full odds shiny. I still haven't completed the dex to get the shiny charm. Havent found a shiny in violet since. (Im not counting the guaranteed red gyarados from the gen 2 games I played over 20 years ago)

I always thought Mewtwo's was just sick and decomposing, it's not sick just the area its at its stomach makes it look like it has stomach acids constantly. edit: agree on espe, its modeled after the mythical curbuncle, that's emerald greed adorned with a ruby gem atop its head, you summon and fight some in FF. I also felt the same about swinub line, it looks rustic unearthed gold.

The legendary shinies are so good. I don't think any could beat Rayquaza, Giratina or Ho-oh for me.
My first full odds shiny was a shiny watchog in bw2, so I have a soft spot for its shiny. It has a nice tealish blue instead of yellow. We do not talk about the second full odds shiny lickitung from the same game that took itself out because I had a rocky helmet.
Honestly, Shiny Krookodile has grown on me since I got one as a shiny Krokorock from a fairy type tera raid, I named him Cookiedile :3
