Gators easily have the best stadium atmosphere
This song was played at my mother's memorial. She was a tough woman - a police officer and a martial arts expert. Get on the wrong side of her and she would kill you with her bare hands. But she was also the kindest soul you could ever meet. Ask her for help and she would cook you dinner and give you her last 50c. She knew what's right, she stood her ground and she didn't back down.
Truly sorry for your loss. She sounds like a good soul.
@@policerthought5649 Thank you. She was. I am privileged to have had her in my life.
Sounds like a hell of a mom...sorry for your loss
@@johnsmith42688 Thanks. She was.
As an alum with 3 degrees from UF and a ton of pride for my my gators, thank you all in attendance for keeping the Swamp alive! Go Gators! 🐊🐊🐊

@@patentg8r Jeuss loves you and everyone have a blessed wonderful day
The Swamp is holy ground for me. Love to my fellow Gators. We're just getting started.
this is just 1 reason why college football rocks . you can feel the passion through the screen
Tom Petty was awesome. His music still rocks. Who says 80s music wasn't the best generation of music. .lol
Jeuss loves you and everyone have a blessed wonderful day God bless you and your family
Best tradition in all of sports.
Me at Lib West at 4AM in the final hours of a all-nighter with a 8:30 exam.
Gator fan since 1964!❤
Gator nation we have more bumps in the road coming, but we have the right head coach, and the right staff to get it done. We have a great quarterback, let’s have their backs and give them time to get us rolling all the way through the decade. Go gators 🐊
All Respect to EVERY Gator fan that sang #tompetty #gogators #UF
Jesus loves you and everyone have a blessed wonderful day God bless you and your family
I still can't believe Tom passed away. His music brought me through some tough times in the last 40 years. I'm not a Gator fan I'm a Oregon Duck fan but my compliments and respects. The Swamp is great
As a UCLA alum, grew up in Santa Monica,California where unfortunately my hero Tom Petty passed away, this is fucking awesome! RIP TP!
Gator Nation , keep your Heads Up, and don’t back down😊👍✌️🇺🇸🐊
You can catch me singing this any time! This song shows team spirit!Go Gators!🐊🐊🐊
Jesus loves you and everyone have a blessed wonderful day God bless you and your family
when i can hear you sing above the audio then i will know you pay respect too tom
Still my favorite part of being a student at UF back in the days of Emmitt Smith and 'Kilber' Marshall. The Swamp is always an electric place and no better way to watch football, college or pro. As a Gainesville native this is also where we went on Friday nites to watch our Buchholz Bobcats high school team play as well. Leonardos by the slice afterwards.
I won't back down!!! If you never experience this please visit. I've visited several times. It gives me chills each time. From Tennessee but Gators fan!!! Welp. ..Go Gators!!!
As a TN fan, this is awesome 👏
bro your guys were dropping left and right
As a LSU fan, it's really not that awesome. Don't see why you think its great
As a Gator fan, I want to say thanks it was awesome! Hang in there. If Tennessee can get its head right, they will bounce back. Don't give up on your team a lot of football is still left.
@@Mr.Potato420because they’re soft as shit

That song should be the State's new anthem . I miss him too up here .
Gonna hopefully get to experience this on Saturday
Gotta love them Gators!! The Swamp was rockin!!!! Keep packing those seats!! CHOMP!!! 🐊
That is awesome. RIP Tom
Won't be long before every stadium has the LED's. Alabama and Georgia got there's 2 or 3 years ago, doesn't seem that long. UT got there's last year. The cell phones in the 4th quarter is always awesome. The visitors and home team do that, really cool.
Greatest Fan Base on Earth! Go Gators!!! And Go Gator Nation!!!
Fun night!
That was AWESOME !!
So freaking awesome!! Go Gators!!
Win, Lose, Tie. Gators forever!
Class Of 1996 here *GO GATORS 🐊* and what would be awesome for our *Gator Nation* is to honor Minnie Riperton because she recorded several albums in Gainesville and her husband was a local musician/radio DJ in the 1970’s. I’m thinking of drawing a petition for honoring Minnie
Did not know that but have been getting into Minnie Riperton a lot lately. So good
@@summerallthetime2616 She’s a awesome artist, she’s one of only three singers who can sing in a *Coloratura Soprano* style which only a few people can achieve. Minnie recorded one of her biggest albums of her career in Gainesville right on campus and Stevie Wonder helped produce her album. Her daughter Maya Rudolph is a huge booster and fan of University Of Florida. Another actor who’s been a huge supporter of Florida is Keanu Reeves, as you may recall Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino and Charlize Theron filmed *Devils Advocate* in Ocala and Gainesville. In fact several students including myself were extras in the film. I would love to see our School Of Arts named in honor of Minnie Riperton, I’ve got great ideas how to promote it as well
Beautiful
GO GATORS!!!
Go Gators 🐊🐊 the new LED lights are 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
I experienced this atmosphere last year against Utah, and we didn't do it for that game, I'm really not feeling the "ooh ahh"
I don't know where that came from but it will stop, hopefully.
1:35 best part

MAKE AMERICA GODLY AGAIN
At the end of the 3rd quarter? Did this replace "We Are the Boys" or is it in addition to it?
