He is solidifying himself as a manager unlike others who overestimate their abilities and fail miserably after one strong season
Best of luck to Alonso. He's definitely made the right decision. Him and Leverkusen are a great fit right now.
to be honest i hope he creates a dynasty at leverkusen and dethrones dortmund/bayern I hope he creates something special with leverkusen instead of going to the corrupt/ref paying elite clubs
Gil Marin from Atleti is now at ECA side to side with Al Kelaifi 😂 not suspicious at all of being corrupt
Ratleti fan talking about corruption
Calm Down. Your club with or without ref, can never be elite.
Barcelona ?
A wise man.
He is waiting for the Real Madrid managerial job to be vacant. He is going to be Carlo Ancelotti's successor.
Even as a Bayern fan I have to say well done Xabi! I´d love to compete against Leverkusen with their current roster for at least one more season, just hope they can keep all their players. And Im thrilled to see them play in the new Championsleague next season, this decision shows what kind of coach Xabi truly is, pure class!
Champions league will be the true test for bayer leverkusen and xabi. Workload management will be the key in a cl season. Let's see how does Alonso face this test.
Hilarious to see the English acting shocked cuz they thought they were just entitled to this man next season😂 just assuming any big manager of the time will choose them no doubts. Bravo to Xabi for not wanting to be the next Graham Potter, though lets be real he'd do miles better even then. The man will keep refining his craft and then likely take the madrid job in a couple years time
He should lead Leverkusen in the UCL and by 2026, he might be ready to take over from Ancelotti. Perfect transition.
How can you improve from a treble ? Really? The next season, you defend the championship, try to go far in the CL, and solidfy your reputation that this was not not a one-off wonder like Leicester, Napoli or Montpellier.
I wouldn’t worry about Bayern job not coming around too often, these days they are in the market looking for a manager every 6 months it seems 😂
I like the fact he's staying and build something great especially if they keep important players, then come to Madrid
He's only been a top coach a few year's he's building up his resume he's not making the mistake Gerrard and Lampard made jumped right on to big team's and flamed out horribly
As soon as I see Ale Moreno there, I switch off. He can't talk without shouting or being OTT.. does my head in
Yes it's the right decision. He's building something his own and quite special. I was really hoping he'd stay. Besides, the Bundesliga needs shaking up!
Evan Ferguson being valued at 100 million by Brighton is a complete joke. 6 goals and 2 assists in 35 appearances does not remotely justify that price. I don’t care that he’s 19 and supposedly some extraordinary talent. He isn’t that special when you actually watch him play. The transfer market is insane. Especially because Ferguson isn’t even British. He’s not even in the artificially inflated homegrown market.
The man has a bright future ahead of him, let him take his time if it's meant to be, it will. Others would've jumped ship to big clubs
It would not have been nice to see Xavi leave after just one full season. After all call it what you may, but Leverkusan should a lot of faith in a guy with no top flight coaching experience.
Wonderful decision man. Its better to be successful at Bayer Leverkusen than to be labeled a failure at Liverpool or Bayern
A good decision by Xabi. Build experience in management. Why go to a big club with there pressure. Enjoy your football whatever the level.
I'm assuming he discussed with BL their plans for next year before deciding to stay. They are going to have to improve the contracts of their best players to convince them to stay another year or two. Without that investment, I'm sure he would have moved on.
He made the right decision 💯 He’s celebrated in BL now. He need to play eu football with BL. He is also showing loyalty and respect to BL. 💯right decision imo. More opportunities will come when he’s ready.
Southgate will hold down the fort at Liverpool until Xabi is ready
Pretty interesting (im not pool fan), unless he keeps his key players could be mistake (look at Leicester after Kante left, look at Napoli after Kim left). With this news he also confirms not going to Bayern. Unless he is playing the long game for Real Madrid.
Liverpool fan here I think he is going long game for Real Madrid
Pretty sure Wirtz and Xhaka are not going anywhere next season. Everyone else can be replaced.
@@thefearhawk8805Grimaldo and Frimpong can't be replaced either. But i would assume that Xabi and leverkusen management had some talks about their plans for next season. So, Xabi knows what is happening.
@@alphagaming6712 I agree on Grimaldo, because of his shooting technique wich is really outstanding. But in general quality players are not as hard to find on the wings compared to the center. Like Alonso found a way to replace Diaby, he would find a way to replace Frimpong.
As much as I would love for him to take over at my beloved Bayern Munich I was hoping he’d stay so we can see what he’s really capable of. It’s one thing to do it once but can he defend his crown after taking everyone by surprise. More importantly I want to see what he can do in the UCL next year.
Xavi has his sights on Real Madrid post Ancelotti.
I think xavi Alonso did the right decision Because Liverpool and buyer in Munich, there are bigger clubs
It’s bcoz he’s going to madrid
As long as we don't get Ruben Amorim at Liverpool. If we do we are doomed. Trust me.
Maybe Southgate should go to Liverpool 😂
The best decision 👌
Bravo xabi🎉🎉
It's good for football
He is a wise man since Bayern are cutthroats and well the premiere league is really difficult to get into. Best choice imh.
"a conversation with his pollows".
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you guys really think you are gods sent football prophets. Bunch of i….
Alonso the race car driver should coach Bayern
What??
Liverpool? Hahaha nice ry now go away and cry liverpool 😂😂
He is waiting for Real Madrid or Manchester United.
You need a hair transplant
Let's go Brandon!!!
Only thing worse than Biden are the people that say let's go Brandon lmao . Grow up
_who???_ 🤷♂
@@ganaed9954 lol, ain't nothing wrong with joe biden!...and dude(?) was talking about some brandon anyhow, not biden. derp!
@@douglasharley2440 oh I didn't catch that I thought he was a maga weirdo. lmao there's NOTHING wrong with joe biden ? Derp yourself lmao that's just delusional
@@douglasharley2440 "ain't nothing wrong with Biden" lmao derp yourself, you are a delusional soul.
It isn’t unlikely that Liverpool may have to fire one or two managers until they find the right one.
Thank you Xabi. Great decision. Unlike those so-called pundits, I am NOT a fan of Bayern winning 20 titles in a row!! Don’t those guys have any common sense?? For crying out loud!!
