Side mirrors would've been blocked by the banner over the windshield slapping wildly against the doors. Solution.... Open the driver's window. Grab the banner and move it upwards towards the roof. The wind shear will remove it for you.

Because trying the wipers is stupid? What’s it gonna do? Get tangled and block your vision? You might as well turn em on just in case it works while you’re slowing down
