  • The cutting chain was installed backwards and re installed backwards. Also you must mix gas with oil for two stroke engines

  • Muitos estão espantados com a memória deles, para lembrar onde vão as peças, quando montam. Só esquecem que eles estão GRAVANDO o passo a passo da desmontagem. Então é só fazer o inverso, quando for montar. E, claro, eles podem ter uma boa memória, também. Mas certamente a gravação ajuda bastante. De qualquer forma, é um belo e inspirador trabalho.     • @@austinledford8501 No, he disassembles then assembles the stuff, that much is clearly true. What is fake is the "finding random stuff in the forrest when i go for a walk" and the condition of the stuff he "restores" He clearly paints or dips the things in some sort of solution to create a impression of rust or age. Maybe even some reverse editing. pay attention to the "rusty" components before and after, no pitting from rust at all, also the rust/ageing is always the same colour, and comes off very easily. But check out the xbox resto, or some of his other electronic restorations, they are the most clearly faked.

  • 24:35 DONT HIT THE INNER RING! it will damage the bearing! Always Press or Hammer the ring that gets friction, like in this case the outer...

    • Same got to my mind, the first thing taught in bearing installations :) Hardly take damage with low pressure but next time hit the outer ring when installing bearing in the hole. When installing to the shaft hit the inner.

    • Bullshit bullshit bullshit. 1. Noone "just finds a chainsaw" sitting on a cut tree like that. Did the previous owner not think enough of his saw to even take it home after work ... or even to fix it if it stopped working. How lucky, just to find it as a friend was filming you. 2. All these "old machines" he "fixes" are dirtied up to look worse than they are. Plastic does not rust. Alloy does not rust like that. Any chainsaw motor and blade would be covered in oil and sticky shavings.

  • You NEVER insert bearing by hitting on the inner face, tap it in on the outer face , you damage the bearing by hitting the inner face

    • Not at all, small bearing can be easily fitted in to the shaft of bearing housing. Heating producers can be done with big and critical equipment.

    • Not only don't you use the inner ring but I'm pretty sure you should pack them with grease. My theory on this channel and about 20 others just like it, is that it's a rigged. Someone has set up a bot system and pays these people a few bucks to sorta refurbish different items and then they collect any KZhead money. I found a channel that was 3 months old had 5 videos and like ten thousand subs but each video had over 10 million views each. There are some where you can hear in the background someone wrenching on another project. Easy money just find a item that works sorta,trash it out some more and then pay a person 5 bucks or whatever to "restore" it and some else 5 bucks to film it. Then have 5 or 6 channels,edit the vids and upload and then turn the auto system on to constantly replay the vids, like printing money

  • Always drive on the outer race of a bearing when installing in a housing, inner race when installing on a shaft.

  • Never knew they made chainsaws that didn't need an oil mixture for the fuel to work. Won't be long for that chainsaw to have no compression and seize up.

    • @@peterfedor9288 Well, based on my little experience with 2 stroke engines, the oil is in quite dark red colour (Like a blood from vein). So it dyes the fuel in red - reddish colour.

    • @@tigerxra8515 There are various brands of the m2t oil - red, green, blue, yellow and so on. U can't tell by looking at gas if it's mixed or not with yellow oil(that's why I don't like these oils - can't see the difference). I have workshop and do engine repairs(fyi james), so I know what's going on.

    • @@peterfedor9288 Oh, thanks! I had my suspicions that there is more that one colour of oil, but I wasn't sure. Yeah, I love the red oil. It's easy to tell if fuel is with oil or without. Is there are difference between the oils, apart the colours?

  • 1)Dont paint Sealsides 2)Dont hit the bearing at the inner Ring 3) Piston is turned around, arrow shows always exhaust side 4) be more carefull with the engine, dont throw that cylinder around, and dont let all the parts fall on them

  • Mistakes include but not limited to; -Painting inside the bearing and mating surfaces. -Incorrect paint for inside of engine. -Excessive gasket sealer will overflow into crank. Not optimal. -Bearings installed incorrectly in a manner that often causes failure. -Piston installed backwards, will result in failure. -Suspected bent crank, will result in failure. -Possibly incorrect fuel, will result in failure. -Chain blunt Well below operable standard.

    • Yep, I noticed that too. But the worst thing he did is the way he istaled bearings 😱 The bearing nests shold be heated up to ~120 °c and then you put the cold bearings inside. They get inside like a dream and without any hammer.

  • Why do the rubbers look like new when the saw is supposed to be old? You don't paint the inside of a motor or hit the inner ring of the ball bearing. This restoration is a fake.

  • bearings must be completly unsealed (lips of the sealing ring are oiled by gas mixture) and installed by outer ring , gasket is out of sense because it causes a gap in front of the engine body and its tension, silicone is enough, use some grese when intalling needle bearing

    • да это он её и ставил 38-12. Смотри, покупается пила на местном "авито", снимается кино как он её отдриставрировал. пилка закидывется на месяцок в сырой подвал и снимается новая часть дриставрации, потом монтаж этого высера.

  • Saw two major faults, btw, the piston is on backwards, arrow always points to the exhaust. That takes away 25% power. And the bearings was hammered in on the inner race, should be seated on the outer. So the balls are now damaged, that shortens the lifespan of the ballbearing by 90%, the saw will probably just run for a few times, then the bearings are shot.

    • Actually it looks staged. Its a 50€ chinese 2 stroke chainsaw and someone spent some time make it look old. Bolts arent rusted enough. Flywheel glides to smooth from the crankshaft and the piston looks like didnt seen more use than the break in. Also the rest of the parts lack wear and tear. Rust is mostly surface rust.

  • Занимаюсь ремонтом бензо инструмента, но в 1 вижу что все без фиксаций, 2 крутить надо крест накрест, 3 поршень стрелкой к глушителю, а 4 ни разу не видал чтоб картер и целиндр красили. В 5 как он при разборки маховик откритил, не стапарив поршень. Зажигание не выставил.
