Actually it's quite the opposite,you see at the end of the cannoneer trailer,you could see that Blue king was attacked by an unknown character using a throwing dagger,thus making her on the red king's side.
@@442oonscool nuh uh in the family tree picture we see that the dagger duchess is on blue kings side. Also that just how characters that use mostly daggers get introduced
