  • Everything you mentioned about living in a flat like carrying everything up three flights of stairs and kids not running because of neighbours and having "the park" right outside (yard) instead of packing up and leaving to go to the park everyday... I pray that one day we can afford a home for our family. Congratulations!

  • I grew up in oak lawn, il and when you said ants it brought back flashbacks 😂 so many ants and centipedes. Not to mention all the opossums and raccoons. Moved to Alabama and don’t have much of them down here ! Excited for y’all. Congratulations!

    • I had the opposite reaction, we have all of that here in Napa Valley, it’s just life and we just co-exist. I think you’re going to love all the nature around your home once you are all settled.

  • Congrats on the new house!The way everything came together it was definitely God’s plan for you to have it. Moving is always crazy! We moved from our old house to our new house and helped my parents move out of their house of 40 years that they sold all in 2 weeks while doing school pick ups and working….ugh. I love how excited you are and so glad it’s more functional for you especially the kitchen! That will make life so much easier for you. So many amazing things happening for your family! I just had my 3rd little one. She is 8 weeks now and one thing I wish I would’ve done is store up on rest lol it’s hard to do when you’re pregnant pregnant but it’s impossible with a newborn and 2 others. So please get some rest!

  • I am living vicariously through you girl. Trying to convince my hubby to sell our house in CA and move somewhere where we’d be able to afford a bigger house and yard for our son and future child(ren). Currently living in 1150 square feet (with another adult family member living in one of the 3 bedrooms) so it’d be great to eventually get a 4 bedroom place 😅

  • Omg first time owner here, was pregnant with our first & prayed for this home before the baby came. It was insane. No one talks about everything that comes with maintenance in the home. I’m so over the spiders when it rain & the outside bugs but forever grateful. Congrats to your family ❤

    • One of the first things we did was pest control….so important and no one ever talks about it. Thankfully ours is not bad. I think having trees and bushes really adds to the bugs and we don’t have a ton. We have a big oak tree in our front yard but closer to the street. We have a baby peach tree on the side but no trees or bushes in our back yard.
