  • For those wondering, the camera recording our regular footage is the Sony A7SIII. Its ability to achieve relatively low levels of noise at high ISOs combined with the f0.95 lens means that under the light of the full moon, we basically have colour night vision.

    • The TV show "raised by wolves" films often using the opposite effect. They will film their night time scenes during the day and turn down the exposure for the alien night

      @maxgamesst1@maxgamesst19 ай бұрын
    • @@maxgamesst1 That's a fairly common trick. It is used in many movies, sometimes during the edit. The Mummy (Brandon Fraser one) opens with a pan across a temple complex, which was partially real (the servants bowing for the emperor in his chariot) and shot during the day. They ended up making it night, so you can barely see how much effort went into making the set and seamless transition when edited properly.

  • You've pretty much filmed the Big Bang in slow mo. Mesmerizing! It's like 2 blokes creating a whole galaxy for a split second. Also amazing shots of you guys in the dark with the high exposure! Was that the Moon lighting the environment up or was it the stars?

  • The last one where you both basically fade-in from total blackness into the light of the molten burst, then fading back to black as it dies out, really should become like a channel trailer or something. It just looks too amazing with that fade-in/fade-out.

  • One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the accuracy of exposure on some of the slow motion shots. If Gav said he had a cheat sheet with all kinds of random 'no one would ever need this' kind of exposures for slow motion, I'd believe it.Some of these would make for amazing screensavers too! Additionally, love how clear and clean the more general shots are; I've heard of day for night, but this is one of the first times I've seen night for day ;) Been watching a long time, and love the channel; I look forward to many more years of smiling every time I see another crazy idea from you both show up on my feed (and the less crazy ones, those are great too).
