always liked how many bosses can be poisoned in this game. I used poison builds alot tbh. channelers trident poison infused was such a useful weapon in this game
I used a poison build and would drive ganks insane. Summary would hide until 2 people were there- and just in 1-3 hits the whip would poison a person and while they were away I’d finish them off with the 3 shot crossbow- or test everyone’s poison resist and drive 2 away, and because I used toxic it was really effective- especially after you poison them using a bleed weapon. Ganks pretty much we’re stuck on a timer unless they defeated me or my buddy- which I would just run off
The dumbest build I ever used, was the Poison Whip and Poison Katana. Lots of fun.

Surprisingly the fact that rotten can be poisoned is an interesting lore piece, It’s a theory that the rotten is trying to fight off the growing poison of the black gulch so that is why it can be poisoned. Just figured I would share for people who like the lore

I just wanna say you're a fucking legend man. You're on of the only challenge run channels I've seen lately that does scripts and not just music montages for your videos. And, as someone with 2500 hours in ds1 and a large number of challenge runs completed myself, you're an inspiration to want to make videos.
Bushy does Elden Ring challenges but they’re basically stream clips that he’s put all the relevant information on to help people who don’t know all the items and stuff by heart. Another good one is The Backlogs, he does scripts a lot like Baron does and makes good stuff too

It is a usual thing to hate this game among all trilogy, but for me ds2 was the first dark souls game I could finish completely an it has a special place in my heart. It has got much more variety to offer and it is my second favorite From Software game after Bloodborne. Thank you for this video. It was a pleasure.

Haters will tell you are objectively wrong and that DS2 is a shit game. I honestly don't get all the hate since the game was very well received by most when it came out, including jornalists (well critics rated this higher than dark souls 1). This is just an example of how haters are cancer.
At least poison is good in this game. I like at the effect armor and weapons too. There are plenty of good and bad for Dark Souls 2 but thats for most games

Excellent run! It's always fun to see how challenge runs that rely on something bosses are immune to go. My only wonder is, could you burn ascetics at the Rat Covenant Gank fight to farm the boss soul for more casts of Toxic Mist? If so you could maybe have more bosses be inflicted with both Toxic and Poison simultaneously. Or if you wanted to go Pure Toxic, it would save from needing to level INT/FTH.

Manikens can totally be poisoned by the way, just takes a long time because their resistance is super high and they love to move out of the cloud
interesting, everything i found online said they couldn't be poisoned and i tried for a while with no luck just to be sure, I obviously wasn't persistent enough

Fantastic work as always. Minor quibble. You can survive the drop into the well with as little as 5 VIT provided your equip load is only .2 (ie Cat Ring only). Though you might not survive if the game decides you were moving forward. (There's a very old Blue Lizard Jello video that demonstrates this)
yeah i've seen that video, the fact that the way you fall dictates whether you die or not is why I settled on 10 vit because I read that that's safe regardless
