Now that you've cleaned it, you should consider sealing the Grout and that will make it MUCH easier to clean in the future!
Any particular grout sealing product you’d recommend?
It looks pretty much the same as before.
@@Simba______ It's probably a tinted grout so the end result won't be white.
I did that and sealed it in 3 layers when the tile was put in...and my grout gets SO dirty. I was told sealing was more for situations like if you spill say spaghetti on the grout, then it won't stain. Haven't had that happen, just dirt haha. Probably doesn't help that I have pets. I steam clean it often but that doesn't cut it. Might try this stuff or break out my handheld steamer to really get it out.
What do you seal it with? Get it whiter first!
I don’t believe you… I need you to come to my house and clean the grout in the bathrooms and kitchen 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Smartie pants 😏🤣
it doesn't work.. I bought it. it's like water.
😂😂😂😂
The yellow lysol in the spray bottle does a great job and its cheap !
Guys, I literally used vinegar water and it takes it all right up in less than 2 minutes. Spray, scrub, wipe off. Done.
Vinegar and baking soda ftw
Why is vinegar (+sometimes baking soda) used for cleaning almost everything?
@@justicehope3137 been used for hundreds of years... because it works and it's not toxic 🤷🏼♀️ also pretty mild so it won't damage things like certain chemicals will.
The thing is vinegar is an acid. It can break down the grout. Vinegar is best used for stripping… like with fabrics & glass.
@@jlcmama7444Vinegar is not going to break down grout in a few minutes.
A steam cleaner with a brush attachment also works nicely
What kind would u recommend
@ffrancis9796 I have the karcher sc3 steam cleaner and it works perfectly. Do get a few replacement nozzles for the brush head tho.
@TheNigaHigaFan4Ever ok..i will look into it.
Steam cleaner works magic
Plain straight vinegar and a good stiff brush works just as good and a lot faster.
No. It doesn't. This stuff is the best. I use it.
Cleaning hack that's much cheaper: Gel style bleach toilet bowl cleaner works great, squeezes easily into the lines, and you also just leave on for five to fifteen minutes, lightly scrub with a brush or old toothbrush, and clean off with warm water. I would, however, like to have that long handled narrow brush for the job!
Yeeees! My friend put me on to it. It works like a charm.
i use baking soda paste made w/ water and essential oil (optional). use an old toothbrush and u dont have to wait at all to scrub. no chemical smell
I was just about to comment this lol, it’s literally like magic!
Agreed
@@corsicanlulu that method isn't easier nor is it better.
I just use peroxide and a scrub brush and get the exact same results.
that prob whats in that bottle 😅 u pay for the packaging most times
Ooh. Gonna go and try that right now!🤗
@Genise Anderson you can also add baking soda to the peroxide and make a paste to sit longer, and it will keep it in the grout lines. Either way works. But peroxide is the main ingredient to lift stains.
Awesome thank you!
Probably better! Get a peroxide “ booster” that you can buy & its even easier! 😊
Now don’t forget to SEAL IT after it dries thoroughly. unless U wanna do this dance again every month. 🤨
With what?
@@nikalicious2012 grout sealant. I use the stuff in a yellow bottle available at HD /Lowes. Grout is porous so it’s gonna keep getting filthy until sealed .
If you want a cheaper solution. A little more labour intensive. However, lysol toilet bowl cleaner and a scrub daddy works pretty well.
I saw someone do the lysol toilet cleaner and was impressed. I think I'll stick with my scrub daddy and power paste for now.
I used vinegar and baking soda. Came out SUPER clean. ✨
That product is amazing. Southern Nevada houses had some idiot in the 80's that thought putting tile on kitchen counters was a good idea 😡. I found this product and swear by it.
This almost has advertisment vibs
You're a comedian. A laugh guaranteed, every time
This stuff really does work 💯
I’ve always used toilet bowl cleaner with bleach
Omgosh! This video was right on time🎉 Your my hero, you just saved my back 😂 Some genius (me) decided to buy a brand new house with super white tiles with matching grout. I dread getting down on all fours to clean it….Can’t wait to get this😊THANKS!😊
Get a grout filler after you clean it to make it easier to clean later. Plus, grout filler comes in a ton of colors, so you can choose a darker grout filler to not have the dirt show.
Hi. Where did you get that sweet scrubber?
Comes with the Grout Eez!
Bleach and a toothbrush does the same job. Leave for 30 mins, wipe off lol
Harpic and toothbrush
I want that agitation tool
I use my steamcleaner works magic👍
If not can you please make a video on how to make a similar product at home.
You could do a full 45min video of cleaning the grout and I would watch it!! and love the comparison, how can someone come up with these😂
Heck yeah, used them plenty
I think I'm gonna keep Cinderella on call.
I use CLR on my grout and I’m not joking when I tell you that grout turns white like brand new… advice if you plan on using it. Make sure your home is very ventilated and use gloves when scrubbing. Make sure to take out all CLR with water and do not try and use any other product on your floors after because the mixing of two products can cause a toxic fume that yes can cause serious harm to your lungs. Also for those of you that use bleach just don’t use it in the bathroom as it can easily mix with an amonia either from toilet (urine) or a cleaner like windex this also causes a fume that can unalive you… if you’ve ever gotten a headache or felt nausea after cleaning with harsh chemicals please go to the doctor. These fumes are extremely dangerous
And you forgot one important thing: use it only with cold water!
@@daniby9894 omg!!! Yes!!!
How long do you let the CLR sit on the grout before scrubbing?
@JP M That depends on how dirty your grouts are, becides in this video the dude is bleaching his grouts rather than cleaning them. The grouts in my kitchen and bathroom are very thin so they really get dirty, so I might sometimes actually damp the floors with a mop so much that they'd need at least an hour to dry, othertimes I just give'em a quick wash... sometimes I use a brush, other times I double mop. Even if I'm in a hurry or it doesn't turn out perfect, I just wash again my floors with bleach the next week I'm doing cleaning again. Great thing about bleach is that it doesn't make "bubles", doesn't leave residue, doesn't need to be wrinsed since it's already diluted, it evaporates as it dries and leaves no odors... just leave your windows while you're using it or it dries and remember use it only in cold water!
um, no thank you
When I bought my house I didn't think to ask if the grout was sealed [bc who doesn't seal the grout?] so it looks like crap. If I had KNOWN that the grout was unsealed I would have sealed it BEFORE I moved in. Thanks for the product info.
After you clearn it with Grouteze - what should you do to get it clean?
Thank you for sharing. I will have to try it.
Thank you very much for that information cuz I'm OCD and I'm also a cleaner and that really drives me crazy when I cannot see the grout looking like originally so thank you very much and I would like to know where can I get that product at because it's fabulous and is an amazing tool for me being OCD and being a cleaner
Magic eraser is fantastic for grout. 1 step.
Best grout cleaner I found was Clorox toilet bowl cleaner CLINGING bleach gel!! Has to be the clinging gel. It’s AMAZING
I am the odd ball that LOVES scrubbing grout. I get way too much satisfaction out of it lol
Your really telling me we’re in the year 2023 and no one has developed a kitchen flooring system that doesn’t require grout
would it have made a big difference if it were 2022?
That’s useful. Where can you get the product?
Looks the same couldn’t even tell you cleaned it good job
I've used this and yes it does work but also took away some of my Grout everything was sandy when I removed it and I ruined some of my tiles
Oh no
I used a silicone to go over the grout and I don't have that problem of scrubbing on it.
Smart
That’s why I like color gout.
People who worry about this need to get a perspective on life.
clean boss! clean boss! clean boss!
Nice. Good to know. . Respect
That looks absolutely exactly the same. Completely zero difference. You just wasted your Saturday for nothing.
I love your voice over
"Handy little brush" 😂
I thought normally people fill those gaps with white (or black, or whichever color they like) cement at the last step after tiling. 😃
Ok but where can I get that cool looking timer?
Who grouts white tiles with a dark grey grout? Instant dirty looking grout
Is this grout cleaner safe for marble tiles?
does that work on wall tile
Nice 👍
My whole house is tile ! This it takes me so long to do . I bought my house this way not by choice
Loved all the advice in the comment section. I work in a hotel and they didn’t seal the grout when they tiled the bathroom floors. I have to get all these bathrooms before we get inspected because we got hit on it last year.
I alway use peroxide then rub a little jet dry over the grout to seal it. Keeps it from getting dirty longer… but I do tend to use peroxide & jet dry for a lot of my cleaning stuff. 😁
Thank you.
I got to see the rag you used to wipe up with. Otherwise looks good!
How do you clean hard pieces that get stuck to your hardwood floors or lvp floors? It never fails there is always hard stuck pieces on my floors and I'm always having to get down and take a razor and carefully get it up without ruining my floors. Is there anything else I could do to get it up without doing all that?
The brush is what really does it. Nearly any homemade grout cleaner, combined with that type of brush, will do the trick. How do I know? Because I bought this system and used homemade.
If it doesn't come clean after bleaching just use paint and seal it after problem solved
We were planning on painting if the grout cleaner didn't work :-)
You can also use a piece of sandpaper rolled up and just scratch the top layer and reseal when your done. Its good for another 5 to 10 years. Depending on what the wife thinks lol
"Chocolate frosting on a rainy day." This perfectly describes the color of dirty grout. So eloquent 🤌
Gonna try this..
Chocolate frosting on a rainy day grout looking like
The real solution: 1/8 inch grout lines and smaller. Anything larger, and you will always have black grout.....as he said, "No one cleans grout".....no one.
Wish i knew about that when my gm at holiday inn had me using paint thinner and a toothbrush 🤬
I would have told the gm to shove that toothbrush up and do it themselves
Omg. So toxic
Nice ❤️
I cleaned mine by accident 😂 I was cleaning the bottom part of my toilet and some of the comet fell on the floor and I decided to scrub that part of the floor around the toilet since the comet was already on the floor and added a bit of my green apple dawn platinum plus power wash for a fresh apple scent and OMG the grout turned white like snow white white white 😱 and I got my brush and got to cleaning my whole bathroom tile and it's so beautiful ✨ Dawn +comet = Magic ✨🔮
Mr.Clean magic eraser works well too.
My grout is old. I don't know how old but different places look different colors, it is deep I can trip on it. Is it time to replace the grout?
ALWAYS use dark color grout... problem solved. I dont eat off my floors
🎉 thank God there's something I can clean the grout in my kitchen you have totally not this one out of the ballpark Grand Slam over the fence and I will be purchasing some of this where do I get it
Quit cleaning grout! Dye it
Use a multi tool in the joints and apply new grout!
That timer is cool tho
Thank you!
is it non toxic?
Steam cleaner was magic for me
Wow with 5 minutes I'd still have 3 minutes to spare 😂
Yes, I'm still being Cinderella doing this grout.
i have this grout problem in bathrooms
I use an electric toothbrush lol. The solution would be interesting.
I have always had excellent success with bleaching grout. Follow with grout seal like 5 times and you won't have to do it again in the same year.
It cleaned the dirty grout but it didn’t bring out the original color. The best method was to use a diamond blade and scrape the old grout manually and use an expensive stain proof mixed grout,FusionPro, to re grout.
I hope that mine just needs to dry😅
It doesn't look any different.
I recommend a new prescription. 🤓
My expensive bathroom tiles had pristine white grout. In one year, dirty sections where shoes hit floor. Professionally done and $ could not bring back to near white. I have two weekends of company coming- oh no! Used hydro peroxide and scrubed with nail brush and better. After dry, used grout liquid pen. Wipe excess. Let dry and my beautiful rooms look fantastic. I will mop up any excess with micro fiber mop and love my floors. No one notices a clean house. I notice unkempt as my job is to welcome out of state guests with my best effort. My yards thank me for cleaning flowerbeds. I do have yard pride, but our crazy winds, rains got me off schedule.
As im reading all these ways to clean grout, im mostly sad, and laughing at the same time. Grout is porous and will absorb moisture and dirt. It should be sealed two or three times immediately after installation, then once a year there after two applications. If you want to be done worrying about clean grout, there are acrylic base grouts that wont except dirt or stains. You can have a pro remove MOST of the grout in your floor and reapply an acrylic grout. Home Depot sells a brand called Fusion Pro. It is pricey but well worth it! I have been installing tile for 35 years and i think this grout is an awesome product. I recommend it to every customer. Oh, its also water proof so it helps in shower areas. It doesn't leave you with much working time so i would suggest having it done by a professional. Good luck in your endeavors Jane. Good day.
I have spent HOURS scrubbing grout. Sometimes it's just time for a little layer of new grout.
Try a Mr clean magic eraser. 💁♀️
White vinegar with baking soda??
Ohhh youre suppose to clean those....?!😂
"The 'Z' means it really works." Funny!
Clean grout dirty grout 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Zep ✨
I use a small grinder and seal the sh•t out of my grout. I HATE GROUT!
Seal those grout lines up now that they are clean, and much easier in future. Maybe a steam cleaner as well.
Taaa Daaa! Your commentary is a great extra to the great video! 👋🏻
When i own a house, i wont get these types if floor lol i feel like id be bothered by how dirty it looksc
Just a heads up to the clumsy folk like myself… protect and cover anything stainless steel. So went to town scrubbing and those little splashes will destroy the stainless. My dishwasher now has chickenpox and my oven caught it too.. Thankfully, I have always avoided looking at / interacting with them both..😂
It looks the same no difference!
I used white masonry paint after i cleaned mine. The floor looks like new.
I hate tiles , over it !
I have a whole house of ceramic tile with grout. Needs cleaning really bad. After watching this . . . I think I’ll just move 😥
