I have never played Disk Golf in my life, but I enjoyed this Video.
I have its harder than it looks that's for sure..playing in an open park with people walking around that are not looking for flying shit to hit them in the head is scary..its why i quit i was worried i was gonna hurt someone ..hit a kid or old person..i almost hit a lady walking came really close and she never even knew it..was my last day

This was the first disc golf video I ever watched. Played my first round with some friends and was curious if there was any pro disc golf so I stumbled across this. I was hooked INSTANTLY and in the ~1.5 years since then, this sport has taken over my life. Thank you Jomez!

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the amazing camera work and editing? Makes the viewing so much better. Camera framing tells the story and perspective relative to other players and the basket so well with simple zooming and panning choices.

I've just watched the 2021 World Championships and learnt the terms, so this comment has made me crack up.
Anyone who hasn't played disc golf needs to. One of the best things I have ever done. I am nothing like these guys but after over 10 years of playing a few times a month it still brings so much joy to my life. Especially doing it with friends and family. Wish I had heard of it and started younger so that I could have put in the time to get to this point..

Professional Disc Golfer here, just want to thank all of the support for our sport, last year I was able to earn $7.13 while on tour and was able to buy a happy meal. I am glad I chose this profession
I played 25 years ago and can tell you these guys are mind blowingly good . They make it look easy and it’s NOT!
LOL! Agree. I went to Academy and bought a starter set and went to a local park for my inaugural round, with only a limited knowledge of the four numbers on each disc and what they mean. I sliced my very first drive and it almost went through a car's windshield. The discs that are used as "drivers" are unforgiving - that, and you could kill somebody with one.
Strange as it was only invented in 2012...
@@pinut187 Ed Headrick invented the basket for Frisbee Golf in 1975 . patent # 4039189 . Frisbee golf was played even earlier than that with fixed objects like trees , poles or any object that could be seen at a distance . 😳

Gotta hand it to the organizers of this: normally in these kind of niche sports they'll have a championship and there will be like 14 people in the crowd. There seemed to be a decent amount of people there plus another 865k views on KZhead in a week and a half which is kudos not only to disc golf but the people that put on this event. Well done.

@@connormoore5191 It is, I remember almost 20 years ago they put in a 9 hole course at one of the parks by me from private donations. Most people didn't even know what disc golf was. They later expanded it to 18 holes, and even my little podunk town there's probably 3 or 4 groups of people playing all day on the weekends. It's good exercise too, the course basically goes around the whole 40 acre park

I've watched golf for as long as I can think together with my father. Now KZhead has recommended me that and I gotta say that I enjoy the production so much. I love, that in such a calm sport as golf is too, the cuts are not endlessly long and I can almost not look away since the next player is already playing. Very well done and I'll for sure watch another one.

A witness, named Shorn, who is a member of a subversive society, arranges for the body to be disposed of. The murderer is caught and killed, presumably by the Teleks. The remainder of the story follows Shorn as he infiltrates Telek society and persuades a Telek to give him telekinetic powers. In the final scene, Shorn brings 265 normal humans disguised as Teleks to the first annual Telek convention, where he tricks the assembled Teleks into giving the humans telekinetic powers.

I've been watching jomez videos of these tournaments here on KZhead for almost 2 years now. Aside from playing solo speed rounds at my local course for exercise, I have no exposure to the disc golf world.. Having said that, I have no idea how much credit this production team gets for the astronomical quality of these videos.. But there is one thing I know for sure. It. Is. Not. Enough. Incredible content, beautiful graphics, knowledgeable commentary, top quality filming, and brilliant editing that gives all the excitement of the tournament in engaging videos that aren't so long that they're hard to commit to watching. Great job to the whole team. Love this channel.

I had some friends drag me to go with them a few years ago. Next time i went, one of them loaned me a disc and i played, but didn't do too well. Withing 2 months, my friends had given me a driver and a approach/putt disc. 4 years later and I have 9 discs myself (lost a couple), I play often, have made one ace (about 200' across a small river), and my best score is -9 (on my local 18 hole course). Stick with it, you'll get better and it is fun.
I'm hooked on this sport now lol I never knew it existed until yesterday

@@breakingtoast2255 there’s a good starter course at Barnwell Park. Grab a disc, and give it a try. The course is a bit tough to navigate your first time, so wait at the first tee for a couple minutes and ask the first person/group if they would show you the way (that’s how disc golfers are). You’re likely going to be hooked your first time out. Enjoy!

Quarantine and no sports. Get recommended Disc Golf. Have watched nothing but discgolf since friday night and now completely invested in followimg this sport.

Great commentator voices especially the guy that sounds like john krasinski, very well eq'd voices props to your soundboard technician. Deep and smooth just like scott thomas of the classical station.
