WE ARE IN MALAYSIA 🇲🇾
This is our first time here and we honestly had such a nice day exploring KL. We started the day with some delicious Malaysian food at a very famous restaurant. Then we made our way to the tallest twin towers in the world Petronas Twin Towers which was HUGE, and then ended the day at a cute little market beside McDonald Bukit Bintang.

Welcome. FYI in a nasi kandar shop, very rare you will get nasi lemak. Nasi lemak is a malay food. Nasi kandar is indian muslim food
Yeah we didn’t realise that until we started eating our food! Still a delicious meal
Muslim Nasi Lemak sellers close in the morning during fasting month. Some rest, some open just before breaking fast time or open a stall at Ramadan bazaars (different sellers doing different things). Nasi Lemak Wanjo (Kampung Baru) opens before breaking fast time.

Just came bk to Canada frm KL and I’m missing the nasi kemak (with beef rendang + bergedil) And roti canai and mangaa kerabu + pulut mangaa. 🤤 And all of the yummy Ramadan market snacks like spring rolls + donuts + sate. Plus we got yummy bahn mi + pho in Suria mall food court that I miss too! Enjoy!

Highly recommend to visit Melaka (historical buildings “Portuguese, Dutch, British), Terengganu (Malay traditional houses & islands), Sabah & Sarawak. Malaysia is well-known for its foods. You’ll never be disappointed.

@@SA-fm2zn May ? Hot. It's always hot and humid here 🤣 temp ranging 31-34°C. 😆 however it's bit cooler in November and December around 28-32°C (nighttime can be 24-25°C) due to monsoon wind blowing and higher chance of rain. :)

Usually tourist might look for nasi lemak wanjo in kampung baru.. Other than that is nasi lemak tangling in taman tasik perdana, nasi lemak antarabangsa in kampung baru, etc

The reason u feels hotter in KL is because its a concrete/steel jungle due to all the high-rises buildings sorrounding it,enchance with the heat,its amplify the heat to it..malaysian called Kuala Lumpur, the steel jungle city due to so much iron/steel for it..but anyways,welcome to KL,malaysia..enjoy the city,food,sorrounding,the vibe,hopefully KL treats u well in your journey..

They mow their lawns, collect the grass in a big tray, and trample on the grass wearing boots or barefooted, cheering and singing, sweating too, for hours, until all the grass liquefy, then pour the liquid through a big strainer, then get that pure grassy liquid on rapid cooling, then get it on slow melt, then viola! You get something completely different (not grass jelly) and I do not know what it is, because I don't think that has even been tried by anyone before, imagine all the dog poo and the birds' droppings and the worms and bugs, yuck! 🤮 Sorry

This is mamak restaurant. Mamak is indian muslim. They don’t sale Nasi Lemak. Nasi Lemak is in Malay or Peranakan Restaurant. Mamak restaurant open 24hours & available in around peninsular. Not many in the east cost, sabah & sarawak. Frm March untill May is heatwave season.

If you want to know, Ramadan month will likely hot everywhere in the Khatulistiwa line, not just Malaysia. It is the line where the earth closer to the sun I think...especially in this month.
