Who’s here after the Club Shay Shay interview? Dude was electric
I haven’t watched college football since this guy and Cam Newton went Pro. Must see TV
🙋🏽♂️
100% me😊
Ong😭😭
“Injury prone running back is in for the touchdown” wild line
I thought I was the only one that heard that wild line
Producers costing that kid millions 🤦♂️
😭😭😭
@boalos6892 Christine Michael, played a few years in the league. Won a ring with the Seahawks in 2013 but never got a real shot honestly.
Bruh I thought I was tripping too🤣
Had to come watch what once was Johnny, one of the greatest college football qbs forgot how damn good he was . Here after club Shay Shay
Literally left mid interview after johnny broke it down then went back 🤣
same lol

😂😂😂
Same lmao 😂 glad I wasn’t the only one. Had to relive it
@@jimmynguyen2720 definitely satisfying seeing Bama lose lol
Man looking back 2012 was probably the best sports year I can remember. Manziel became johnny football, Jeremy Lin became linsanity, the giants beat the patriots in a crazy game, Bron beat the thunder for the chip.
Facts bro
LINSANITY good catch 👏🏿
And my ravens won the superbowl💜🖤
2016 with EASE
And I got moved into an office with no windows. 😅
Loved watching Johnny Football He was flashy, he was cocky and he was really good (at least on the college level)
Worlds greatest flag football player
Too much partying lead to his demise.
College football sucks. Bunch of little boys playing grab (*) with each other. The NFL separates the men from the boys. 1 percent real NFL talent mixed in with a bunch of pansies.
@@brandonsavitski dude college football is sooooooooooo much more entertaining
@@tonionknight7472 Absolutely nothing entertaining about watching top ranked teams beating small school unranked teams 65 to 7.
Timing was impeccable
They pulled the upset there, and they just pulled an upset again! Respect to Texas A&M.
2-8 vs bama you happy about that?
Any team with equal talent gives them trouble. They're a money driven corporation now. Not really focused on real football.

Manziel may not have made it happen in the NFL but I’ll be damned if he isn’t a college football legend. Sometimes it doesn’t work out. Dudes legacy is cemented!
It sure is. His legacy as a complete failure only to be remembered in the beer drunk south and football fail videos here on KZhead.

His legacy is that of a cokehead that didn’t give af. He did ball out in college tho
Games like this are cool to see again partly because you remember when you were younger and watched these current NFL guys in college
This comment didn't age well lol..just kidding. He should've been a great one
I remember this game.. Thought A&M had no chance and figured a blowout was coming. This really was the start of Johnny football at least in college. He played a hell of a game that day
This isn’t the only time a team that ppl gave a team no respect and thought bama would win. 2014 Oklahoma vs Alabama 45-31 OU
Alabama has been paying players since the 80s. The truth will come out now. Thanks to jumbo

this does not feel like it was 9 years ago.
Nick saban said johnny manziel was the hardest player he ever had to prepare for in his career. That's saying a lot. I remember this game like yesterday. Mind totally blown as he just keeps making play after play.
There are some games you never forget. This is one of them.
This one, & 2 from that Auburn season against GA & Bama. 2015 I believe. I was an AU fan then I finally wasn’t a fan anymore ab 3 years ago cuz it wasn’t fun & was since 2006
We just watched the college football game of the year right now, and A&M didn’t have to travel to Tuscaloosa to beat the blue blood
That and the Oklahoma game were great games.
OU tx game is the best game of the year not even close
@@willriley8721 Not to me both of those teams suck playing defense. OSU vs Michigan!
Lol...id ask A&M fans what Atlanta looks like but A&M fans have no idea...but hey..u had Johnny football lol..what a thing to brag about..roll tide
@@chuckenomics He lasted all of 2 seasons in the NFL😂🤷🏾♂️🤣A&M will never sniff the CFP
This was his biggest Heisman moment, especially the play where the ball got knocked out of his hands into the air and then he turned around and caught it, then turned back around, got out of the pocket and threw a TD.
Anyone else remember trying to play against Johnny football in NCAA? That team would QB read like 50 times a game lol.
NCAA14 roster updates with Johnny Football was insane
My brother is a die hard Bama fan and I am a die hard Texas A&M fan. Feels so good
Biggest program win since 1996 big 12 championship over the Nebraska powerhouse in the tom Osbourne days
@@ericsigersmith2831 A&M didn't beat Nebraska in the 1996 Big 12 championship game, you are thinking of UT. I think A&M's win over Alabama was the biggest win for the program since 1939 against Tulane when they claimed their last national championship. The game itself was extremely entertaining, Alabama was in the middle of probably the greatest dynasty run in college football history and even won the national championship later that year, it was the biggest part of Manziel becoming A&M's first Heisman winner since John David Crow in 1957/the first freshman to ever win the Heisman trophy and A&M was in their first year in the SEC playing for big things so the win was very important. I think A&M might have been the best team in the nation in 2012. They beat 1st ranked Alabama and destroyed Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl who ended up being ranked 15th at the end of the season despite that routing and A&M's only 2 losses were very close 3pt and 5pt losses to 9th ranked Florida and 14th ranked LSU.
Being a die hard Aggie fan must really suck. Getting great recruiting classes every year only to go 8-4
@@camthesooner123 8-4 isn't even bad. Plus a team like A&M gets quality wins every year unlike some teams. And I don't have a bias because I'm not a A&M fan
@@horizon2288 But paying that much money for a head coach and you still get that record and can't even make it to a SEC CCG. That's Jimbo for ya. FSU fans knew he needed an elite QB to win a NC because every year without Winston he was losing to unranked teams. And to not have won a NC since 1939 and all that money used for what? That's pretty sad.
Since this is NFL Throwback Verne Lundquist was voice of the Dallas Cowboys (1972-83) and did CBS NFL (1984-93, 1998-99 with fill-in appearances afterwards) and TNT NFL Sunday Night Football (1995-97). He used to work with Terry Bradshaw and sometimes John Madden on CBS. Verne was the voice of the SEC on CBS for 16 years beginning in 2000 (1:24)
Everytime I hear vernes voice I jus think about a sec game on Saturday night . I hate that he retire
Who here after the Club ShayShay interview? 👀
Who came here from club ShayShay🤣?
They uploaded this as SOON as A&M beat Bama again respect

I've never noticed how much Manziel and Mahomes mimic each other... similar speed, and maneuverability, and perhaps even accuracy... but Mahomes clearly has the edge in body mass, arm strength, and overall demeanor! Crazy watching this with those comparisons in mind!!
Crazy it's been 10 years already. Biggest thing a&m did was convert 3rd downs and johnny was unpredictable so tide couldn't stop it.
That’s freaking crazy. My how the time flies.
MSU rb ran a decent 40 time. Watchout
1st quarter was everything for A&M in this game. They really stalled out on offense after that and missed some easy points in the form of field goals/PAT that could've kept this from ever even becoming the nailbiter it turned into. Still managed to hang on despite handing the game over to Bama with all those missed opportunities. Usually really good teams like Bama are able to come away with the W in potential upset games like this when the lesser program starts handing the win over to the opponent by blowing opportunities.
Now calzada repeats what manziel did and defeats BAMA here at home!
Still can’t believe AJ Mcarron has been a career backup in the NFL
I can not believe its been 10 seasons since this legendary game.
I had totally forgotten Mike Evans was on this lineup.
If they somehow coulda made it to the title game I think Texas A&M woulda won it all. Had several friends playing for the Aggies at the time, that game got me hyped!
HELL YEA LIKE BEN MALENA!!
Yep. By the end of the season A&M was the best team in the nation. But it took them a few weeks to put it all together.
They definitely could’ve beat Notre Dame
@@jwc7215 They wouldnt have beat bama again. Bama was coming off a huge road win vs LSU and wasnt prepared right. Texas A&M won because of the first half. They didnt do much in the 2nd after bama knew what was coming
@@jwc7215 lol stfu they clearly were t. They lost 🤡
I was never a manziel fan, and I (correctly) assumed he would flame out at the pro level; but, this performance was amazing and may be severely underrated.
If Johnny Football was drafted today by a solid NFL team, his career could have been legendary. The way the NFL is nowadays where having a dual threat QB is starting to become a meta, he would be insane.
A good player makes his team better.
lmao wtf are you talking about he wasnt drafted in the 70s, is this your first year watching football?
No because he had issues off the field that would of kept him from becoming anything great.
He admitted himself that wouldn’t be true.. but man this kid had some talent
@@OGBarry16 college level talent yes

By the end of that football season, that offense was unstoppable.
Watching Club Shay Shay led me here...
I came here after watching his interview with Shannon sharpe
As buckeyes fan, tonight may have been the happiest I've been in a while
Only losers live vicariously through others.
Got to respect Manziel was not a slider. He tried to score on every run/scramble and he believed he could. Nobody ever played as hard as he did with as much confidence in college history.
Could there have been more perfect timing? Texas A&M just beat Alabama and Jonny Manziel was on the sidelines lol
Eyes glazed over
I remember this game. Georgia fan tailgating at the Georgia Auburn game. Everyone was going in for the game, but this one was so close. My dad and I stayed behind to finish watching it, and so glad we did.
That was a great game thank u Texas a&m my team is now #1
The Great Johnny Manziel
This has and always will be a bama’s Achilles heel for them defensively, a QB that’s slightly accurate and a mobile scrambler.
bama's achilles heel is the greatest college football players of all time
I was at this game! A&M grad that has ended up in Alabama. My boss (BIG Bama fan) gave me a ticket since it was my first time getting to see A&M play live in a long time. Who knew..... By halfway through the 4th quarter I moved down on the apron in front of the A&M section. We went nuts at the interception! What a game. I tried to take a picture of the scoreboard but my hands were shaking so badly I could not get a good pic (2012 cell phone.....). I still recall as we were running and jumping around at the end, an older Alabama fan took the time to shake my hand and congratulate me on a great win. He also welcomed us into the SEC. Class move for sure! SO glad we bailed on the dying Big 12 and came to the SEC!
Yet no title and bama still rolling, enjoy one game as we celebrate multiple titles. Poor you, one game is all you have, and johnny football ended up a loser and gone lol jeez you folks are pathetic.
Great timing for this video to be posted
Ryan Swope made some BIG catches in this game 💪🏾💪🏾
Legend quarter backs and legend games. Wow to go Texas Am
Wow what a talent !!! Just amazing how he played !!!
I just watched the game at Kyle field, oh my gosh what a game
Manziel and Swope had unbelievable chemistry
Happy for swope to find success after the 08-11 teams. Those teams were just average
Just two white boys doin what white boys do best...dominate 🤝💪
Bruh Manziel absolutely balled and partied out of control this entire season and it was so legendary he will live off of it his entire life what a character
“Injury Prone Running Back in for the Touchdown”…… Sheesh
When the announcer said “ injury prone RB for the TD I laugh 😂 😂😂 announcer has no chill
I remember watching this game at a dingy old driving range with my step brother and our friends outside of Houston. Thought that shack was gonna fall down around us. The range is gone but I’ll remember that night forever
Little did he know, that long pass to Swope then that TD pass to Johnson to go up 29-17, those 2 passes changed his life forever.
The timing is on point
Manziel and Boykin were so fun watching during this era of college ball
I still remember watching 2012 A&M vs Alabama. Good ole days no worries or stress and now I cant take a dump in piece.😢😢😢
I was a student at Bama at the time and this was one of my favorite games. Everyone I knew was selling their tickets because it wasn't projected to be a very good game and Bama was coming off of the 2011 natty. My gf at the time even sold her ticket and I made her buy another one for more than what she sold hers for. His scramble where he loses the ball and throws the TD was into the student section endzone, absolutely incredible part of history to watch. PS A&M pretty much just ran the same passing concept for the whole game and it worked every time.
Doesn't surprise me they ran the same passing concept the whole game considering they mostly stalled out on offense after coming out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter, so obviously Bama made adjustments as expected. Some of it was missed opportunities in the form of bad play from their kicker, but their offense definitely didn't look as impressive after the 1st quarter ended. Huge 3rd down conversions repeatedly in the 1st quarter but rarely after.
@@zachdalmaso2131Just hoping for a different turnaround than last season's ending.
Perfect timing too
this game, lsu vs bama 2019/2022, and auburn pick six and tenn vs bama are the 4 greatest games in my opinion
Out here as a freshman, doing this… just watched the Netflix special on Johnny… so crazy. What a rise and fall of a human..z
Man, there were some absolute ballers on the field and wizards on the sideline during this game!
This was a memorable game and amazing upset. Looking back now though, it’s pretty amazing that Alabama was able to string together such a long run of dominance without ever really having any remarkable QB play. With the exception of Bryce Young and maybe Tua to a lesser degree, Bama has always been able win with mediocre quarterbacks
I mean, AJ McCarron was no slouch dude. He was a 4-star QB out of High school.
One of the greatest college football games ever to upset the # 1 team in the nation in their backyard unbelievable way to go Aggies
crazy to hear all the superstars names still putting in work in the league
Crazy that this game was basically 10 years ago
Definitely one of my top favorite Aggie games. Say what you want about Manziel’s pro career. But, in college one of the most instinctual and big moment QB’s to ever play.
I have really enjoyed these college highlights on this channel. Also Gig ‘Em Aggies!
I was waiting for someone to make a good highlight video of this game
I remember this game in 2012, great game 👍💪
Just imagine if we had that Johnny football in the NFL.
He was shitty...... NFL big boys!!!

Alabama mightve had the greatest coaching staff in history. Still couldn't put together a plan to stop that man. Looks like the players underestimated manziels skill.
What? We beat him the next year.. what a take…
Wow this game is star studded. On both sidelines (coaching staff) and the field (players)
Awww man, this was the biggest W in American history right here. Everyone collectively came together to laugh at Alabama 😂 Also, I about had a heart attack when Bama came back and nearly won the game. Too close for comfort.
