I love DRPD! They’re a great company with fast shipping, and excellent packaging. They carry KTC, Nepros, and Ko-Ken too.
Thanks for sharing this with us ☺️
Love the enthusiasm and especially love the array of high-end tools. Makes me want to buy them all too.
Ended up placing an order for the striking-cap set from DPRD after seeing them on your instagram. Also picked up a wood handle Nepros #2 Phillips, been wanting to try it out for a while and the free coffee cup helped me to pull the trigger.
Keeping my eye on this company all of the tools you show from them seem like the highest quality. Great video!!
Thanks a lot! I don’t think I have anything from Pb that I don’t like yet.
Been checking out DPRD’s site for a month or so now. Seems like all the tools they carry are top notch! Need to order from them. 👍🏻 Digging that VDE set, now that I have seen it a little closer on your video I will be ordering that one.
Outstanding
Placed my order, not even 2 days ago and already here in record time. These PB Swiss are PHENOMENAL! Love the ratcheting bit driver and the VDE pouch set. Definitely going to replace some Wera tools for me. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
love PB Swiss 👍
Great video, not seen that PB Swiss have a VDE interchangeable Set now. I already use their strike through screwdrivers, like you said the parallel tip is a real nice design feature. The design of a tapered blade, does just have limited contact, it also tends to push the driver blade out of the screwhead.
PB Swiss 😍😍
Absolutely 😎🔥🔧
I got a tool roll of pb Swiss drivers from there and started making a video but got interrupted then never finished the video. I gotta get back on it. Keep it up!👍
Absolutely! I’ll have to check it out when you get it done 😁
Wow that is super thin man i tell you what pb Swiss always amazes me
BTW, PB Swiss needs to do their packaging like Wera and Apple... Super clean white box with every piece wrapped and perfectly placed on display when you open it. It would give them the premium presentation they deserve when you unbox it.
Yes it would. Wera has the packaging game down for sure! PB just does ridiculous nice tools in a cardboard box 🤣
I agree, but there is something charming about how they package world class tools super plainly. Makes me think of the old Stanley-Bailey planes and chisels being packaged in plain cardboard/press board boxes.
Packaging is perfect, minimal waste and no plastic, easy to open to get to the goodness inside.
I really like that insulated set!
It is just as slick as it looks too. I love it!
PB Swiss drivers are usually harder and hollow ground on the tips. They are also made from spring steel. I bet the made it work well. But on paper that should make terrible striking cap screwdrivers =D
Scha-weet! Nice score. That PB Swiss Classic grip VDE Slim set is the way to go...and then add the other slotted/phillips and Torx slim blades. 👍 As a matter of fact I just clicked out on the set at DRPD and included the three VDE Torx blades. Woo-hoo!
I’ll have to do that, it would also be good to have a #2 square if they had it for this one.
@@MillisConstruction DRPD sent out next day, but UPS had some kind of problem. Anyway, was just delivered. Love the tool roll! I wasn't paying attention and thought the handle on this set was Swiss Grip. But it is of course a Classic Handle, but with the Swiss Grip coating. I do like it!
professional ! all the best, 😊
Thanks a lot!
Looks like I created a PB Fueled Monster ! At least , I got ya hooked on the Good Stuff !
I’m a sucker for a nice tool 😆 😎🔥🔧
I also have an Intrest in a VDE setup at the other end of the price scale , the Whia PocketMax in VDE configuration ( so far not yet available in North America ) , basically it’s a Hollow screwdriver handle that fits 4 Whia Slimline bits . Basically 1KV protection in your pocket at all times . I work with quite a few DC systems that don’t like hard shorts across the power supply ! ( or to Ground , for that matter . Unless I know to the contrary , I assume devices don’t care for shorts/ grounds ! Older boards can be hard to repair/ replace !
That is a slick driver. I think I’ve seen it on a couple tool pages on Instagram 🤔 maybe
@millisconstruction do those VDE flat head shanks have that same parallel tip grind as the striking cap flathead screwdrivers? Thank you for the content!
You get that free mug if you spend more than $150 on PB Swiss tools there. I know because, well... 😝😂👨🔧🤘
Haha thanks! I had no idea 🤣🤣
Great Video. Ive looked at this VDE set in the past. One thing I cant figure out is their numbering on the blades. Why is the 3.5mm slotted marked with a large 2, the 4mm is marked 3, the 5.5mm is marked 4. Are the large number or the number on the hex marked wrong? Why do they do that?
Wera also came with some slim insulated drivers btw.
I’m hoping to grab a set to do a comparison with pb Swiss and possibly the slim Wiha as well
Love ordering from DRPD! They have my favourite brand for ratchets called Nepros. Made in Japan, there’s nothing better. You should check ‘em out!
I noticed they sold that one, I’ll definitely do that!
Amazing Millis! Congratulations for your new PB Tool's! I have a question, PB has also a removable non insulated shaft system and it has a little of wabble to the side. This insulated model has also this or is rock solid? Thanks and waiting for the review comparing with Wera, their set is also great! ☺️🤝
These insulated ones are tight. There’s no wiggle at all in mine. I’m impressed! Thanks a lot! 😁🔥🔧
@@MillisConstruction so, let's buy it! 😂👍🏻 Thank you!!!
It's not a "plus" in the mug... It's the white cross from the Swiss flag.
Only fly in the Soup , at least here in Canada , no # 1 and 2 Square ( AKA Robertson ) . I do want one !
That is definitely annoying. This set is that way also but I need to see if I can add at least the #2
@@MillisConstruction You’re almost as Smart as me , we must be related ( both of us have a fair bit of Scottish input ) .
@@MillisConstruction We have a lot of #2 / Slotted hybrid screws , in the interest of not Camming out , I prefer to use the #2 !
DRPD is the only place I get my PB Swiss and Koken fast shipping and cool to get that letter of thx hand sign my the owner
What type of knife is that?
This is literally double the price of a set of PB Swiss Slim VDE drivers .... and you have to switch them. Sure if you really need the space. But let's be honest there is a reason electricians carry a toolbag. They don't want to be switching blades all the time.
How does it compare with Whia Slimline ( dementionally ) ? ATM , I’m running Whia . Always looking to upgrade !
I don’t have the Wiha multi bit VDE sets yet. I may grab one to compare though. I just have the regular insulated drivers from Wera and Wiha.
@@MillisConstruction Whia was the skinniest set on the market ! The have a pocket version ( holds 4 bits in the handle , all VDE , etc ) .
If we compare 2 simple screwdrivers, both PH2 100 mm., which one is a winner for you, PB Swiss or Wera (discard the Lasertip & the price)? Or, lets say, which brand is the overall winner for you, between these two?
Geez. Comparing two favorites. I think at that point ergonomics of the handle to you personally may take it. For me the PB just has a more solid feel and less like a plastic driver handle. You’ll notice my bags are slowly moving to mostly PB drivers now although I still have a ridiculous amount of Wera. I’d tip the scale to PB personally (and I’m not affiliated with either brand monetarily just as an fyi. )
@@MillisConstruction Thank you, appreciate your answer a lot. You have a great channel, I really enjoy watching it.
@@MillisConstruction I'm in the middle of a quest for getting the best possible bit holder screwdriver, and after watching tons of videos, including, of course, yours, I just ordered the PB Swiss PB 8451 M, 30 mm. version. Now I'm having a bit of remorse that maybe the same one but with 100 mm. shaft could be even better choice. BTW you should check another crazy screwdriver of theirs, that you could miss in the catalogues among others, the PB 225 A - a very interesting one. Kind of a unique multitool, including a bit holder. And nearly no reviews up yet on KZhead.
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Enjoying this florida weather! Key west is great 😁🔥
@@MillisConstruction just be careful of the drag queens😂🤣😂
