- Great site Jason. You don't take unnecessary risks or try to be clever and taunt the snakes. That's how I've watched people get killed on other snake sites. How much you care enough to release the snake back into the wilds away from the peoples homes. Are the people that live in that area aware they are living in a black mamba ticking time bomb area? Would love to know. 🌹

- They are really not bad or evil. They are actually very shy, nervous and peaceful animals. It's people who attack them and get bitten, that give them such a bad name.

- Like Jason said, snakes want absolutely nothing to do with us. They're not "mean" but they can be defensive. Leave them alone and they'll leave us alone. It's no more dangerous living amongst mombas as it any other venomous snake in the world.

Ushembe is the spiritual guide/ prophet of the Nazareth Baptist church. The 2nd biggest African initiated church. The writing is a common phrase you would see on car/window/door stickers. It means he is amazing. But bc it is said in the context of a prophet it has taken on a different connotation to the ordinary meaning of 'amazing'

Absolute pinnacles of the snake world 👌🏻💪🏻 A Black Mambas temperament is often directly proportional to the way in which you deal with them. If your actions are fast and erratic, you can be sure to have a very flighty and erratic Mamba to deal with. Calm, slow and sure is the best way to work with them 💪🏻👌🏻👍🏻

You do amazing work and see that life is deserving in some of the dangerous animals on the planet. Something my Dad instilled in me. I also love listening to you talk it's the accent we Americans seem to love them. While I can understand you it's when you arrive at your customers houses I have no idea what they're saying so I go off what you're saying and how you respond to them. Doesn't happen every time it just depends on how thick the accent is or if they're speaking in a completely different language! Makes it very interesting! Stay safe.

- 1. It could be a cheap model, 2nd hand or a hand me down. 2. Can't sell it and get the money that exact time you need it everytime there's an emergency. 3. If there was no phone in the house they wouldn't have been able to call for help, genius....

I can’t imagine living somewhere, with that possibility, but I’m sure it’s all relative, when you’ve spent your whole life, in that kind of environment. I’m surprised you just reached for that curtain, not knowing where it had positioned itself, or what it’s temperament was. You’re clearly the expert, so I’m not armchair quarterbacking. It just seems like it would be quite easy, to get tagged, before even having eyes on it. Thanks for the videos!

- I'm dead scared of snakes. When I was at school, the kids used to chase me around the playground with snakes. I think that was where my fear started. The closest I came to overcoming my fear, was to photograph a few behind glass.

- That's one way to ensure that a person never overcomes their fears. Can't stand people that deliberately scare others with whatever they're scared of. I don't find it funny at all. My brother in-law is dead scared of moths. And although it might seem like a really ridiculous thing to be scared of to most, it's his phobia and people need to understand and respect that.

"uShembe lo Isimanga" translates to Shembe of Miracles. Prophet Shembe founded the second largest African-initiated church called the Nazareth Baptist Church. I'm guessing the family who live here are congregants of the church.
