I feel like SHINee is one of those groups that still holds the essence of the old Kpop that i fell in love with. Not saying that the new Kpop sound isnt awesome, its just nice to hear this kind of music again.

- Jerric C "this kind of music" is actually very similar, if not actually under the genre, to the house scene in europe and the united states. Kind of think back to Kiesza's "Runaway" and the chorus background is super similar to the background that goes on in this mv. Not saying that SHINee is bad, just saying they've never used this style before. To hear this kind of music again? probably from other songs, but certainly not in mainstream kpop.

- Micah Choi You're right, View is written by Brittish people who specialized in Deep House, and indeed Deep House is the trend for this summer. But since it's still unknown in Asia, especially in Korea, SM hopes SHINee will launch the trend there, just like they launched many trends in the Kpop industry before.

다른 7년 전 뮤비보면 딱 7년 전 느낌이 드는데 이 뮤비는 진짜 요즘꺼라고 해도 이상하지 않을 정도로 너무 세련되고 멋이 폭발함.. 헤어스타일, 옷, 비디오 색감 등등 진짜 시대를 앞서갔다는게 이제 확실히 증명됨. 2015년에도 정말 너무 설레는 곡이었는데 지금 들어도 너무 좋다

- If by "unique" you mean that most kpop groups aren't doing house or dance funk music then yeah I guess. I love Shinee but their music sound isn't new. Although I guess in Korea it's somewhat new.

- aniqa tasnim It depends on which country you live in. In Scandinavia it's still spring, summer begins in June. In some asian countries it's the beginning of autumn (like in Thailand).

- I feel mostly newer fans don't know older groups such as shinee well but i am glad that you noticed them. they really are a vocal powerhouse because their voices fit so perfectly and they are also great performers. I hope you will check out more of them :) PS I love BTS too!

i used to hate when i would scroll down a shinee mv and see comments about jonghyun because it would make me feel sad but now now that im listening to this i cant help but comment too about how much i miss him... haven't really listened to their songs for a year because he was/is my bias now hearing his voice is bringing back all the nostalgia and sadness.. i just miss him, sorry ignore my comment.

Jjong mencioned in Blue night how they were trying to go back to their roots more like in Romeo era funky way. Also they were together in Blue night talking about how they were unsure cause the choreography and song it isn't strong or intense that is what they've been doing for a while but is a song that fits every member.
