That's my conundrum, Id gladly sign up but literally have less than $5 to my name. 2 pre-teens and a disabled parent I care for...I don't even have cellular service anymore. A cup of coffee or a quick meal out... it's been since 2019. Just the breaks, trying to find some way to free up to help- maybe I'll fast a few more days this month than I normally have to... just to sign up. I have a wonderful business idea too, all research done, just need less than $2500 to start. I will not go to Chamber of Commerce bc you know the business "Shred It"? I met with them about a female business owner's grant and some pointers starting off, back in 1998. They told me they couldn't help me after I divulged my business & plan and within the year there were trucks doing my idea, based out of my area. I don't trust them but learned some things about creating business plan. Hopefully I can manage enough for my current idea, though not as revolutionary as mobile shredding in the digitization era, but something to improve mine & my children's lives. It's getting down to the wire and I'm getting worried yet cutting all costs and shopping thrift stores, depression era meals & fasting (i.e. starving) ... it's getting close to being in a real bad spot since savings used up to care for my father's medical. Hoping a link or something in vids will help, or someone who sees this (I'm in FL & female) so I can get started and then pay it fwd or back in whichever way appropriate. I'm honest & hard working ready to give it another go bc 22yrs same career now laid off & can't get resume call backs (we live in an interesting and amazing time despite stumble blocks!) I got a government grant for a greenhouse on my farm. They would not give me the money until I had built the greenhouse on my own with my own money. After the build they inspected approved and then only after they approved do they send a reimburse you. If I took too long building, or my building didn’t pass inspection they don’t give you the grant. So you need the money upfront yourself and you must be willing to take the risk or gamble that our government actually reimburses you.
Because the gov. doesn't want the money to be spent on marijuana instead of a greenhouse.
I@@13thhouse23 I am sure that @ddyerfamily has no reason to lie. You don't know that it is not true, so you have no right to call her a liar! That is just so toxic. I absolutely believe that it is true because my mom got a grant for her to fix something in her house that needed to be done right away (I honestly don't remember what it was. It was 10+ yrs ago), but anyhow she had to fix it with her own money (she borrowed off me), then she got the $-grant. I am not quite sure if it was because it took time to get the $, or if they told her to fix & they will reimburse, but she got the grant after it was fixed. I do know they came out to inspect what she applied for to get fixed. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was an issue with her heating system.
The irony that the government needs to approve spending YOUR money on a project for you...

I personally don't think Lesk can help me. I have been trying for years to get my patio fixed due to mold. No matter how hard I tried no matter where I went for help no one could help me. If I could afford to fix my patio I would do it myself. However, the patio costs at least 15,000.00 or more, because the law states if you live in Florida you need storm windows. I've been on medication for years now due to the mold. It's a shame that a senior citizen has to live like this. I also need a whole new kitchen lol I can't even afford that. I'm grateful I have a roof over my head, but at what cost. my health is at stake and there's nowhere to turn.

I was a member you walked everyday it was great. I’m going in to social services they dropped my Medicaid and food stamps it turns out I make less this year than last. Daughter in any dream job 27 almost perfect I’m blessed honey trust me I watch you for a long time I had to cut out a lot of little bills. I love to have a drivable rv and travel I love it. It's the same in my state. It's just a bunch of red tape and them giving you the run around. Getting help shouldn't be like this.
The grants thing is bs. I've followed this guy for awhile and there's never been a single resource he's spoken of that's actually legitimate or helpful. You have a wealth of options to make money online and not even need to work for anyone else. Set up a paypal business account that can accept subscription payments, create a course or do something interesting and offer it as a monthly subscription, put content on youtube to talk about it or show it off or teach helpful information that is verifiably doable for people and they will sign up and you can direct them to buy a subscription and if you make it 20 a month, get 100 or 200 folks to join in the entire country of 300 million people, you'll be doing 2k a month recurring...or more. If you're older, start a community for your age group. If you have education and experience, start a community teaching your skills. If you're creative, sell your hand made stuff. Digital Revenue Opportunities > making money online < is the future. Plenty of opportunities in AI for that matter to do the grunt work and save time. Make books, write reports, blog posts, research topics, get lists...you don't need hand outs and grants. The money is on the internet and it pays more than that low wage bs job will pay you. But if you want a real job with serious revenue, look into field inspections, notary and loan signing, independent insurance claims adjusters, and government contracts. You're welcome.

Call them back and ask if they know anywhere else that can help with your situation that you can call and check with! Please remember that some states have the same programs but they don't have the same names and then there are some programs that have not started yet but you still want to get a head start and be ready for when they do open up!

Government Grants aren't for everyone! I applied for one at 71. I was called by the GG office that my grant would be approved only if I was 64 years old or younger.

Once you're a member you can login to the Lesko Help group on Facebook, or you can login to the Lesko Help 2 website on Mighty Networks. They both are included with your membership. The Lesko Help 2 platform just offers more to the members like training videos, the free weekly online grant workshops, and the state groups for all the members to join and get to know the other members in their area! That turns out to be a great resources for members looking for help in their states.

Also Xfinity told me they are ending the ACP PROGRAM at the end of April. That's how I get $30 knocked off of my Internet bill. No Internet for me after April. They can pass a 1.2 trillion bill to "avoid another government shutdown" and billions to the wars in other countries, but not knock off some money from internet for the poorest people in America. You would think all this $ they are spending would also go towards Social security not running out in 7 years.

Poured everything into farming and it was great for a short amount of time but between the number of licenses the state allowed and the massive black market cartel grows in my area the market became way over saturated and drove prices way down, couple years ago my state produced 1.1 million pounds of recreational cannabis and only sold 150,000 in dispensaries. We just legalized psylocybin so I've been cultivating and have a plethora if them but just haven't found the clientele yet for them, and started my own business for gunsmithing repairs modifications, cerakote and stippling but it's not covering the bills just yet, plus I live in rural Oregon town of only 2000 people so that's a factor, I've got all the right pieces just need some clients to connect them

Yes. I understand…But gov’t money programs are not set in a may that you or I would like them to be. The reality is that 535 Members of Congress set up the rules to give out the money for each program. The money may go through 6 different agencies before it gets to you. Best to start by can try by watching the videos closely that start reading the info in the descriptions. If you have an easier way to apply for the average of $14,000 in grants given out every year to every adult in America, I would take it. After studying these programs for 48 years the gov’t is not likely to change, so it's up to you to learn how to use it.
