She doesn't say the truth. Rybakina deosn't mean "fish". It's more like "belonging to the fisher". Of course, the nick used by her friends might be "rybka" ("little fish").

She's gorgeous. Great player, great temperament on and off the court, and always so well spoken - complimentary to her opponents while being as honest as she can. I think I'd get a little tired of her very talkative coach also, from time to time. But they seem to be working, as a partnership.

She is not Russian. She is from Kazakhstan. She was only born in Russia. She,herself has repeatedly distance herself from Russia in all the her interviews. Please get your facts right!
@@ricusgroenewald I believe she has spent over half her life in Russia, I've never heard her distance herself from Russia but instead refused to be drawn into the political hatchet jobs by the reporters. Her parents still live in Moscow so try not to paint a false narrative. She has declared and is supportive of Kazakhstan which is great for her and normal in tennis. Look at all the British players who were born elsewhere.

Wimbledon has grass, French has clay, us and ao fast hardcourt and Indian Wells have slow hard court. They have different court condition not really an issue though.

Regarding her coach.. you know the only way to get better is to continually push yourself and to be encouraged to push. At her level everything matters. Court should be equally distributed and medium paced to give every player equal chance. Part of igas domination is due to slow courts. That's why she cant win aus Or Wimbledon where she can be exposed
I think the court condition will play a role in deciding who wins, I mean it's humid and windy.
