Thank you so much for having me over Lynn. I really enjoyed this conversation. 🙏
Really great having you🙏🙏🙏 You are incredible:)
You are amazing Susan, I've learnt so much from you ❤
You teach with so much ease
Hi Susan.. I need your coaching urgently.. How can I get in touch
My coach....
This young girl speaks like she has been around for 50 years! Very knowledgeable and very informative!!! Impressive!!!
😊😊😊
Sure very very impressive
The fact that we can get this for free is amazing
I'm proud of Susan and thank her for sharing her journey. She needs to stop going on about poverty. She claimed to "grow up poor " Parents had a shop. Daughter of a shop keeper. She learned how to buy, sell, and decipher the PROFIT. WE NEED TO GIVE CREDIT TO OUR BACKGROUND. Not because some people had mansions and we didn't. Doesn't mean you were poor. It means that your mind was poor. One cannot be rich with a poor mind.
Being broke after investing is not same as being broke after impressing
You can say that again 😅😅
Very educative!!
The book in waiting
This is me😅
You're very right
Hi Susan, This is mrs Gichuru your Roysambu primary teacher. Congratulation. You are are doing a good job. I w ould need help from you

That sacking was a blessing in disguise, probably you'd still be there with no savings, no investments and in debt.
Even if she speaks for 8hrs I'll still listen to her cause she makes sense in every statement she makes❤❤❤

Not me sitting here in my 40s listening to a 29 yrs old, teach me some things i know not about money 😢. After being in business for over 15 yrs. Life has no balance. I am really taking notes. .
Don't beat yourself up in the journey of money. No one teaches us this stuff. Tutajulia wapi? Learn and take action. That's the key. All the best.
There's always a learning point. Don't beat yourself up❤

Black tax is very emotional. Its sickening, its painful. Its not that we dont want to help, but its overwhelming. Whenever you receive a phone call from home you dread. Because money has to be part of the solution. Mungu atusaidie
Can't agree more
I know 😢😢
😢 I know!
Black tax means helping people? Please educate me coz I help so many people
Can someone tell me more about black tax please
Its so important to have an emergency fund. I remember how as a struggling graduate student in America I never had enough it wasn't even a hand to mouth living, it was bad. When I finally graduated and got my first job, I started saving half of what I made, I hated poverty so I was ready to sacrifice. I also read every personal finance book I could find and started putting money in a retirement fund, buying stocks and bonds, investing in Kenya, etc. Now I'm at a place where I'm not worried about the future unless something really unexpected happens. Please listen to this lady and start putting money away, even if its just ksh5000 a month, you'll not be caught off-guard.
I agree
Very true
Wow inspiring

Susan's financial IQ is on another level. Her advice has really impacted me positively in my financials since the time I joined her channel
As a middle class citizen who is trying to have stable finances, I’ve always been an advocate of investing in the stock market because it has paid off handsomely since I got into it.
You can’t overlook the fact that it’s paramount not to get greedy but to remain invested through careful study, if not you can lose it all.
I’m a virgin investor and looking to get into investing in the stock market but my friend warns me of the dangers involved in the market. How true is this Mlambo?
My colleagues had a good laugh at me when I told them I started my journey with $5k capital and how I accumulated over 5 figures within a span of 7 months. They never believed me until I pulled out my P&L. I know that learning the ins and outs of the market isn't for everyone, that's why personally, Jonas Herman oversees my investments.
@@Zmlambo While it may sound enticing, it is important to understand that stocks, like a fine wine or a Monet, has no standardized value. You look all good on the outside, while you wait till almost death to enjoy your wealth which presents an enormous economic(uncertainty) risk.
I’ve been less dependent on my 9,5 job to carter for my needs as my investments with Herman covers all without me even having to directly trade myself. It’s like having a strategic partner for my finances. Phew what a relief!
I recently got my job at 22 years and I want to start investing as early as now.... thank you so much lynn this was an eye opener ❤️
Please please...time is your advantage. Your age is your wealth...please start and stick to it. At 30 you will be miles ahead
Someone denied me this information, glad i got it,thank you Lynn 🎉❤
Please Lynn kindly arrange for another conversation with coach. We're looking forward❤
This interview has literally changed my whole life!!! Now this is how finding your purpose looks like, and using, living in your purpose, Both Lynn and Susan, you guys are pouring to us,...each in their own purpose! My Gosh!! Mind Blown
😊😊😊😊
Recessions are an unavoidable part of the economic cycle; all you can do is prepare for them and plan accordingly. I graduated into a slump (2009). My first job after graduating from college was as an aerial acrobat on cruise ships. Today, I work as a VP for a global corporation, own three rental properties, invest in stocks and businesses, run my own company, and have increased my net worth in the last four years.
Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. I learnt from my last year's experience, I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time.
Exactly! That's my major concern and what kind of profitable business or investment can someone do with the current rise in economic downturn
It is true, inflation has taught people the important of multiplying income.
It is true my dear, investing is the best idea currently and without it, human struggles are worthless.
I would recommend you work with a financial advisor...because in this current volatile market, it is advisable to diversify while maintaining in safe investments, given your budget, you should consider a financial advisor
to be honest after watching this i've just realized that my plan to wealth was completely off. this helped me to get on the right track towards achieving my financial goals. thankyou
My people perish for lack of knowledge. Thanks Lynn and Susan for the intense information.......

The goal is not to LOOK wealthy but to BE wealthy 🤑 💯💯! Thank you Ma'am Susan. This is very insightful!
My key takeaways-: 1. Invest in financial education: It will pay you the best return (you can never be conned, you cannot invest in the wrong place, and you will make maximum use of what you have) 2.The goal is to be wealthy and not to look wealthy
Bring this girl tomorrow again she must continue with this information
Thanks Lynn for hosting Susan, the best show for me ever! I have learnt a lot from this young lady, such wisdom and eloquence. Go Susan go!
Woow u finally owned up my request for u to bring susan thank u lynn you're the best baby gal❤❤❤❤❤

I have come here to watch this episode, courtesy of my best financial literacy coach and pal, CuttieKijo. Half-way in, and am already blown away! From Waceke Nduati's "Making Cents- Real conversations about personal finance" and now this, all in the space of 10 days, am asking myself how did I just fluke by life? After more than 20 years in P & P employment, for the first time someone is making "financial freedom" look realistic and not a utopian ideal. Did someone say she's only 29, but she speaks with the wisdom of the ancient sages. I'll echo what one of the commenters said, it's like attending an Ivy League classroom, but without paying those stratospheric school fees!
Very beautiful episode. Next time let her talk about education policies and insurance companies.
Am very poor in saving,i overspend,No saving account....but at least now i know what to do. Thanks for the show.❤❤
I'm very good at saving. Black tax tried to shake me a bit but I drew financial boundaries on everyone coz we can't live like this. Kila mtu ajitegemee. I'm very proud to be called stingy ❤
Paul I can assist you in joining a mmf for 11% with Pioneer Company

Winning with your money is more than just investing. It’s cash flow management. It’s budgeting. It’s retirement planning. It’s protecting your assets. Investing is just one aspect of money.
This young lady has the wisdom of a 100 wahengas. God bless her, and you too, Lynn.
Susan is a good financial coach.Lynn please bring her back for more financial literacy topics. ( wealth creation & protection journey)

I am Motswana I am slowly learning Swahili language.
Hi
I have been listening to Susan for about a year now, and her sessions have woken me up from deep financial sleep...am making progress a day at a time now ❤
Awesome Eye opener
I used to feel gulity not belonging to a chama coz it has never made sense to me,Through coach Suzzy teachings,I have confirmed that i have always been right..
We are together in this.I have no apologies for those who think it's pride.
Can't talk much about chama but I was able to do so much with the money. I don't regret. But now we have the knowledge we can do better
And the way I have always hated chamas. In my opinion, people in chamas are just very bad at saving money themselves so they tend to depend on others
I dropped that shit this month😂 however I still have one for 2000 USD per month that I'm gonna drop at the end of this year.
Use the chama as a stepping stone to take you to the next financial vehicle...mmf ,the treasury bill or bonds.when u know better u do better ama?
Ready to learn 🎉🎉
Wooow!! thank you
Eye opening.
Very educative. A guy earning ksh120000 and saving Ksh20000 is eventually better off than one earning Ksh500000 and saving nothing has explained why I saw drivers doing better than their bosses.
Wow I didn't knw a friend could be this informed. Happy to see you Susan a childhood friend. You need to help most of us here. Thanks Lynn for hosting her. Watching you from USA seattle Washington.
Wow this wisdom...
Thanks so much
Ready to learn 😊
Money is not meant to control people, rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place........
This is awesome!Thank you very much
Very mind opening. Thanks Lynn
Lynn and Suzan, hello from Uganda ❤. Lynn I have learnt so much from this conversation that I'm feeling on top of the world with my finances. Now I know what to do next. Thank you Suzan for the lesson on what a SACCO is for, and for showing me that I have to get knowledge on Financial Literacy FIRST before i decide where to invest. Thank you for that example on Asset-rich and Cash poor people; l have seen this around me. Thank you Lynn, this interview was worth the length of time it took😊. God bless you both. Susan I will definitely come to your KZhead channel 👍
Wueh! Happened to me yrs back. I got this job and I was just getting on my feet. I did it in almost a year. Wueh! In January I was called to the office and they said that was my last month at work. I was traumatised...I cried. I don't even want to remember.
Thanks so much for that vital information

Ecclesiastes 11:2-6 - Invest in Seven ventures, yes, in Eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. If clouds are full of water, they pour rain on the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there it will lie. Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.... Sow. Cast your seed. Then its God above all.
