What do you think of the Lakwa 8-16mm C-Dreamer lens?
I do a lot of real estate so I picked this up for my Zfc as the only real z-mount option for an extra wide with zoom for a little extra versatility. Very little distortion or vignetting for this type of lens. It shoots a bit cooler than my Nikon 12-28, and just a bit less sharp if I pixel peep, but I just add a bit of saturation and a hair of yellow and/or red and it’s good to go. I love that it gives good sharp sun stars so easily, pretty much anything above f5.6. I also love how small and light it is so it doesn’t overpower the little mirrorless Zfc. I’m pretty picky and while far from perfect, it’s more than acceptable quality for when that focal range is needed.
That's a great insight. I was surprised that you use the Zfc for real estate. I prefer a camera with more dynamic range, and easier to change settings in a pinch, than the Zfc. Tbh the Zfc has never really done it for me, but I've held onto it and it's come in handy a couple of times :)
@@RalphMayhewPhotography You’re right…Honestly I’ve just been trying it out on a few jobs (it’s usually just my emergency backup), my main camera is a Sony a7R4, but the Nikon has really impressed me with the colors and autofocus with the native lenses. Less editing, as the colors from the Sony are pretty bad by comparison…It has almost convinced me to trade in the Sony for maybe a Nikon Z7, Z8 or something. 😉 The Zfc will always be in the car though because it’s really fun to shoot. 😀
So the canon RF 10mm rectilinear is the wider than this... interesting
Not a real fan of the lens, but like the heated mug. Also, your snap transitions are perfect!
The heated mug is sooo good. I can’t believe how brilliant it is.
