lol there was something wholesome about Mike making the list.
I've watched a couple of these and I've got notes. Specifically, you set the camera angle to close to perpendicular to the line of models as you pan along them. This means that there's only 3-4 previous models in frame for scale comparison. This combined with not using a set background that diminishes in visible size as the video progresses means that you never really get a visual impression of actual size comparison beyond the previous models in sequence, which are already only marginally difference in size. Only the text gives any indication of objective size, and generally the attraction of presenting this kind of thing in video format is specifically the visual impression of comparison that results--which you have not achieved. In short, pan the camera angle much more to the right to see more previous models, and add a set background that visibly diminishes in proportion to how the models are scaling up.

Yep. Just a couple of models in I was thinking the same thing. No size comparison in this video at all. Each new model is shown to be roughly the same size as the rest. Without relative comparison, it's all meaningless.
Additionally, with a more angled perspective, the “long” monsters would be more impressive

I like this very much. Also, since they are models ther is no meaningful size comparison. The model of a monster might be a few feet in one scene and a couple of inches in another.

They were probably referring to the original 1974 Mecha-Godzilla but mistakenly used the Godzilla vs Kong model. They made the same mistake when they showed the 300 meter tall Godzilla and it should have been called "Godzilla Earth".

There's the scene in Steven King's, "The mist" where they stop the car to see a creature walk past them with birds flying under it's belly. I would have liked to see that creature and the others in that movie depicted in your video.

Gives good perspective, otherwise at some point they (monsters) all look like a bunch of small figures put next to each other I know you’ve put something like Statue of Liberty, but for example I haven’t seen it in real life and can’t really compare. But with human figure it would be more interesting
Great video! I liked the monsters design and putting a human next to them to actually feel their massive size shadowing over us. With their bulks especially Super Shenron's, i'm so glad they're not real haha. 🖐😂😁

When you zoomed out to show the Earth, I thought for sure you'd include Jörmungandr (the World Snake, among other names) from Norse mythology -- but then I realized these were all TV & movie monsters. I kinda missed seeing Fenrir, though... All in all, a darn cool video!

i think bruce from finding nemo is inaccurate. he seems huge in the film because our main characters are fish, but he's still meant to simply be a normal great white shark

Galactus, Shuma Gorath, the Cloverfield Monster, Darkseid (with his variable height), the marble playing uberaliens from Men In Black, Trigon, Jormungandr the World Serpent, those small sphere like reality eaters from The Tommyknockers, that ultra ogre Aragorn defeated in LOTR The Return of the King, Mogo the Green Lantern sentient planet, the Incredible Hulk, Cull Obsidian,........ I have to stop now. I keep thinking of all the various sized monsters that don't appear on this list. My comment could be longer than this video if I don't relent.

I thought it was odd that he included the Living Tribunal, but not Galactus or Arisham, who are probably both better known. And how 'bout Ancalagon the Black? And Shelob. It can also be useful to include more small ones, like the Cornish Pixies from Harry Potter. Giants from Harry Potter, giants from Narnia, giants from other sources. The giant turtle thing (I forgot its name) and Falcor, the luck dragon from Never Ending Story. Those Chitauri "flying caterpillar" things, and the Chitauri themselves. Hulk, Ego (the planet), Abomination, etc. Mr. Mind, Doomsday, Mr. Mxyzptlk, etc. There's just too, too many!

Looks very nice, and the background music is a cool choice. But your size figures seem so arbitrary. Just as an example, the male MUTO is much shorter than the female. You can see that just looking at them together in the movie, but the extra features on the DVD explicitly say so.

For a video that's about height and size, I'd expect accurate figures, 1.8m is closer to 5ft 11 than it is 5ft 9 😅 (Voldemort)
Although feet and inches are imperial the figures are given in metric form
I think it's not 5'9", it's 5.9 feet (ie 9/10th of a foot). That would make more sense. It's not inches but a fraction of a foot.

The Warrior bugs from Starship troopers are way taller than 6 foot. Go back and rewatch it, they pick humans up and humans are around 1/3 of their size. That would put that at around 15-17 feet.
When on all fours like that they are that tall, but they often go up on their hind legs like a bear.
You left out two of the biggest- Azathoth from the Cthulhu Mythos is about the size of a large galaxy, and the Anti Spirals from Gurren Lagann who grew to the size where galaxies we're being thrown like shuriken in their final fight with Cho Tenga Topen Gurren Lagann. Then there's Demonbane from the game of the same name that can literally grow large enough to explode entire universes from the inside, and Fina Getter Robo, who grew to the size of the entire universe just so it could bitch slap God, and no, that's not a typo or exaggeration.

In the comics, the TLT is a multidimensional being whose job it is to ensure there is balance within the multiverse, a job given to him by the most powerful being, the one above all. In the trial of Adam Warlock, while he was wearing the infinity gauntlet, TLT depowered the IG and disarmed Warlock of it and then instructed him to break up the infinity stones and keep them safe. The celestials only operate in one universe. They were easily beaten in battle by both Thanos and Nebula while wearing the infinity gauntlet. If Thanos and Nebula were able to freeze celestials while holding the IG and TLT was able to depower/disarm that same IG while Warlock was wearing it, it's pretty obvious TLT is much stronger than celestials.
