Bc music was undeniably better 10 years ago, then it is today. Heck even songs from the 90s are still fresh af. Bc they use actual instrumentals, and talented singers, rather than autotune and computer beats, like they do with pretty much anything after 2015. Sad.

Nostalgia is like drugs, it makes you feel great but afterwards you... you almost realize nothing will ever be the same as that feeling. You will never feel the happiness that you just felt. It’s a hard pill to swallow. You can try to relive the simpler times but you just keep getting older, it keeps getting harder. I’m addicted to this feeling and I’ve been trying so hard to relive it but with the stress of everything... you can’t. I’ve watched countless early 2000’s songs, it works for a little but then I just go back into extreme sadness. It gets worse every video I watch. We have to continue having making memories so when these songs die out and fade away, forgotten and lost in a sea of videos. We can surely say that we’ve had a good run. But hey, at least we laughed, smiled, and were care free as we heard these songs on the radio in the backseat of your parents car. We didn’t know how stressful and terrible the world was, but we didn’t care. We could be who we wanted to be without responsibilities. Without the fear of growing older. Not a care in the world But as a very intelligent bear once said, “We didn’t realize we were making memories, we were just having fun” -Winne The Pooh

My friend this was a heartbreaking post to read. But I want to give you at least SOME inspiration that has brought light into my life. I listen to nostalgia not so much to make me feel sad that it’s gone, but rather I use it to motivate me to get BACK there. Because there was nothing special about the moment that we fell in love with this song and the moment that we attach this song to. It was just that we were extremely Present. We were absorbed in the present, and we knew the art of being present. Over time we might’ve lost that art, but nostalgia is a means to teach us that we have lost touch with our Soul and are in need of going back. It is like our Soul calling us back home. This is what I learned from my life with meditation. Pray and meditate so that you can teach your mind to be in the same state it was back then. As Jesus said, be not like the learned and proud, but rather be like a Child. Then you will enter the Kingdom of God. Cheers.

Yeah, compared to popular music nowadays, it is so damn nostalgic. Everytime I listen to Jessie J I feel like "those were the days". People were kinda happier. I was too young to notice how great those days were.
I miss these days when pop music were actually good.
? This is basically a poorly-written Katy Perry song. Ariana Grande slays vs this non-resolving drivel.

Yup
September satellites and this song in my opinion have something really hard to explain with words, timeless maybe..
Yup 👍
OMGGGGG, I’M SCREENSHOTING THIS.
Cheers.
well also things have been getting worse and worse the past 20 years mostly due to Politics but yeah that makes 2011 seem like great times compared to now
Uhh this song only came out on radio in 2012.. Things were the same then, everydays the same the only change is YOU!! (iff you let it)
The fact that people who live early 2000 prefer the songs from 90s and think that the songs during that time were bad is too ironic now
We're making it out with the Peter Griffin medallion with this one!
Im so happy this in fortnite now.

She sounds like Jessie J
yha!! i even thought this song belonged to katy xd
It's the vocal filters. It's very much how Katie's songs from the time we're like. And the pronunciation of certain words. Her voice doesn't really sound like Katy in general tbh.

this is the "I knew this wasn't Katy Perry button"
I use to think the Emma girl from Jessie sang this. I played just dance a lot and thought the model was her I also used to think J Lo was Bella Thorne Flo Rida- was part of one direction Barbra Streisand had a male voice Kesha was missing hair and etc

Not to mention she's not a studio wonder. She is a tremendous live singer!

I feel that she deserved more recognition in the music industry. Her songs are so iconic for the 2000s music
Unfortunately it’s kind of a forgotten decade
This was released in 2011, not the 2000s lol.
I feel like Max Martin (and dr. Luke) is getting exactly the amount of attention and recognition he wants from the industry :D
@@TheOutlanderReport Dr. Luke doesn’t deserve it for what he did to Kesha

This is a great song. It always puts me in a good mood 😊
This is one of my favorite songs ever. It captivates our mind, body and soul in a wonderful way and brings such a good feeling when listening.
Dude, I just love the way she moves in this, nothing sexual. Every move she makes is just so on rhythm.
I know! It's so beautiful!!!
And her outfits match her movements.
lol but it is sexual, stop being afraid.
@@nicolesmrekar2046 How?
@@emz_1616 The ops "Love" is sexual in the same way mine is, the song is literally about sex with the "beat" having a dubious meaning. The original video involved a far more "sexy" dance and less clothes. lol After her injury it was changed to this, just Jessie attempting a more subtle approach, with the intention still being just that. I mean if you have to disclaimer that it's not sexual before you say something about the same sex........I got bad news for you.

When life was better and we weren’t in house arrest
Life was never "better" .you just were oblivious to many issues, but this one affects you and now you think before it was better.
@@ziionnaa this is clearly overthought :D common sense is to have a better life then because there was no coronavirus. Health makes you have a "better" life. Of course there are those who had a better 2020 than a 2011, but it's an overall thought. I disagree about the "arrest" word though, 'cause it's for our safety, so it's really a choice.
@@ziionnaa That makes no sense. Obviously if you don't know about the horrible things your life will be better. Also, things change. People's lives change for the worse. It doesn't matter if they knew about the bad things in the world, life can still change for the worse
