Great piece of doc making, but Jesus that piece on Johnny Owen nearly had me in tears. I'd been a boxing fan for about five years by then, and it was the first ring tradgedy I was aware of.Remember even kids at school being affected by it.

Joe Louis, won the fight before having his gloves laced up, Bumpy Johnson and co. backed the "bronze bomber" well beyond his retirement. Watch the fight, Tommy needs a clean ko to win and that still may not be enough, crazy times! A pleasure to watch, but the narrative will be lost on some.

Top Fighter and top bloke. No doubt he's on the World Title path. I reckon he'd beat Munguia, Hurd, Charlo, Andrade right now, at 154 or 160. Such an underrated fighter and still undefeated in my eyes. He schooled Smith in the first fight. It should have went to the cards after the headbutt, and he won the second fight in mine and many other peoples' opinion.
