I am not a welder but I have had to use the services of those who are both professionally and privately and it is my experience that if a welder doesn't want to weld something they tell you it can't be welded but if they do want the work they tell you the weld will be as strong or more than the original steel
Or sometimes they cant weld it due to skill level or experience. Not every welder is skilled at everything. Some people are better at certain things than others.
@@kwacz Yep. Same as doctors, lawyers, and mechanics. There is just way too much to know it all, and they damn sure don't teach you everything in school. You want the guy you're about to hire to be honest. You can always get a second opinion.
Do not heat or weld in this area
Just for sale!
Много лишнего! Так уже давно никто не делает!
Как новая
We junk cracked frames in America
Because we have road regulations based on common sense.
Зря он шов убрал в ноль
На продажу лохам
That's... not good. Lol. Pretty and strong are not the same in this setting.
I guess the guy is only useing what he has, but electrode welding is not the recommended process for repairing high carbon steel vehicle frame. Reason being it's a much hotter process causing to great of an heat effected zone in the high carbon frame metal , Mig is the preferred process . Former Dana chassis Chevy ck and Ford f 150 and mack truck sub assembly welder DANA CORP FRAMES DIVISION MANUFACTURER.
No. This is an amateur job. It's easy to put lipstick on a pig. In a "developed" country, this operation would require an engineer's certificate.
Just because you have a paper and know theoretical work doesn't mean you can actually do anything.
Contact no chahiye
Or stop over loading the trucks and shit stops braking like the frame just sayin
Terrible job 😅😅
Garbage job. Not done correctly, it's still a massive weak point in the frame. It needs to be plated.
I wouldn't drive it
Nope.
Did more grinding than you did welding. That makes you a grinder not a welder
Gotta remember everyone he's most likely in a third world country where they do what they must to keep vehicles on the road. I know it's not dot legal or whatever but he's not being regulated by dot in the roads that truck is driving
